Went to Auto Tech Woodstock, Il. Called for a quote for 4 new tires. They said $ 160 each so I ordered them. They scheduled me for 9 AM Nov. 12. Dropped my car off and went to dunkin do n uts to kill time. Went back at 9:50 and they didn't even ppull the car in the shop yet.. called my wife and went home. After 12 noon I called an the car was ready. When I went to pay the bill was $ 900 something. When I said with the price I was quoted I figured around $ 700. The woman behind the counter explained the charges and they hit me with the road hazard guarantee which I did not ask for. She took it off but my bill was still $ 841.18. They charged me $ 99.80 to mount the tires. Never had that fee before and never mentioned when I got the quote. Won't go back with the poor service and hidden costs.

This was the ONLY place that I trusted in bringing my vehicles in the past for service and tires. I have spent many of thousands $ at this shop. I brought my wife's vehicle in for an oil leak and some gaskets replaced. $800 of service. about a year later I noticed an oil leak from the same area and identified it coming from the crankshaft seal which was part of this service I had done. They wanted over $300 to replace it. Its a $10 part and easy fix so I went to do it myself. After removing and inspecting the seal I noticed a good gouge in it, then noticed they also gouged the cover which it is why it was leaking. now I am in for another $800 plus the cost of a new cover of $300. they would not help me out on a discount to repair it because I touched it. I will not be going back. I am 100% sure I did not do this damage, and it wouldn't have been leaking if they didn't do the damage themselves.

Auto Tech Centers is a great place to be taken care of. The staff is friendly, the service is reliable, and they get the job done as quickly as they can. They're real pros, and that's why i choose to do my business with them.

I have been here several times and had good, honest, friendly service. The only reason I didn't rate 4 stars or higher is because the last time I visited I went for a very specific problem and--while they fixed it--without me asking they came back and recommended what would be thousands of dollars of repairs. Worse still, when I asked for advice about what the potential risk was if I don't get a particular item fixed at that time (because I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money to deal with non-essential repairs) they wouldn't give me an answer. So I like them and will continue going to them, but that was really sketchy and I will stay on guard when going in the future.

Went in to get new tires on. They might have added 2 scratches to one of my wheels but I’m not sure. But they did a good job and put the black weights on my wheels as I requested.

I have an older car that I try to maintain and keep in good shape. Mark and the team at AutotechWoodstock have come through several times for me by finding a troublesome rattle in front end and wobble in the wheel - far better service than I receive at dealerships.

I have coupons sent to me for discounted oil changes each week from them. When I do get my oil changed it 1 of your 4 vehicles and show them their text message they never honor it cause they say " we didn't send that text". I don't know how to create a text message with their logo and specials and send it to myself... Mark and Mike the store Mgrs are great. They ownership....unprofessional at best (his name is Mike also). Stay away.
