Its so hard to find a shop that you can trust nowadays. I’ve been going yo this shop for many years and I confidently say I never been overcharged and never had any issues with customer service and repairs. Im a happy client and I highly recommend Auto Tech on Richmond!

The best experience! Mathew, the business owner embodies true customer centricity! My car tire burst and the car was parked in my office parking lot. Mathew came and helped fix the tire. He is reliable and honest and does not try to make money by inaccurate repair services and this was clearly evident with all information he shared. He could have easily charged me 4x given my limited knowledge but he has high integrity. This is going to be my to go place going forward! Thank you.

Just left, I was in desperate need to get my car inspected and all the other facilities were unable to do the test so I had to go to Mr. Sticker to get it done. Little did I know my car would have never passed the commercial inspection if it wasn’t for Auto Tech. They were able to fix my few problems for a reasonable fee and took it to Mr. Sticker for me! Very grateful for their help, would definitely recommend!

Matthew tested and inspected a used car I was thinking about buying. He showed me exactly what was wrong and the things I should look for when considering a used car. Very informative and friendly. He is honest and extremely knowledgeable. Anyone giving these mechanics a bad review because they don’t speak English is lying. They were clear and speak English as good as anyone. Also, who cares what language they use. They speak auto tech language. Most of us can’t speak that. It is why we take our cars to people like Matthew. Great guy! Great mechanic!

I was very appreciative of the service provided, I showed there very stress out and concerned with some issues with my car, and they did a complete analysis and explanation. They do not do any work that is not necessary. I trust that they won't try and sell something I don't need. Bill was less than the estimate. Honest people here. I am very pleased with the work. Highly recommended.

Matthew is definitely the go to man when it comes to engine repair. My 2009, 111,000 mile, Camry 4 cylinder apparently had blown a head gasket, bad water pump, electrical problems and he fixed all of them, reasonably priced, and on time. The important part of this story is TRUST and HONESTY... AND you can TRUST Matthew. He called and admitted a simple mistake LOWERING my bill by several hundred dollars ... then it was my turn --- as he called an hour after receiving full payment explaining he only charged me $20 for the head, when it should have been $250. Of course, I made up the difference. It is very bad to bilk an honest, good man from his remuneration --- AND I was still ahead of the early morning estimated billing. TRUST and HONESTY are a two-way street. IT all started when another shop showed me a blown radiator, and thermostat, which I got fixed by a traveling mechanic, saving $200. But he indicated a blown head gasket was the problem and quoted be an outrageous price just for labor. So... I stretched my memory and remembered some good work Matthew had done two years earlier, and he was within a few blocks of my residence. He graciously towed my car and drove me back. As he got into the car, which had not been serviced for a couple of years other than oil changes, we found other electrical components that need changing --- it was, after all a 14-year old car. I have been coming here since my early twenties when I first got my first car. From oil change and alignments and breakdowns literally on road and they have gone above and beyond to help me take care of my car, the prices are reasonable they don’t tell you to change or fix things you don’t need to changed or fix. this place is by far the most welcoming and overall good environment. I have attempted to bring two separate cars for state inspections on three separate occasions. Each time, it's either no mechanics on duty or they don't open during the hours specified on the Google maps (they don't even open during the exact time they told me in person). You can also forget about calling because I have never been able to reach anyone. To be honest, even if this establishment honors the inspection special pricing, it is not worth the time and hassle to even drive down there.
