if i could leave 0 stars, i would. I came to this shop alone crying due to dealing with an unexpected broken control arm. i was vulnerable about my situation living in sacramento so far away from home & it felt like this company took advantage of that. I understand that labor is a big portion of the cost but it was an over excessive amount. SO EXCESSIVE, that my dad drove 6 hours to pick up the car himself and trailer it to somewhere that wouldn’t overcharge. This company said they would take $1000 off of the total price if we kept it there so they could fix it… which further implies the exploitation of my vulnerability. Even charged me for a service i did not ask or agree too. never coming back here again.

This is one of the best family places to get your any type of work done on your car or even just to purchase a car. I have been dealing with auto world for over four years still have my same car and they help me keep up on the maintenance I wouldn’t trust anybody else. I have came a long way with them because of my own fears as a women but no they treated me like a sister a mom a friend I never feel used they write they wrongs I love Omar Bobby Sam April the mechanics like literally this is a top notch loyalty crew and I appreciate them so much I will forever recommend them over any car repair or car lot and I travel to them over 45 minutes away from where I live and I don’t take it for granted so don’t listen to the bad reviews give them a chance and make your own judgement u will be happy with the results

I looked for a place to fix up my car and Auto World popped up, I called to see how they could help and a lady named Bella answered and helped me with my car right away within minutes on what needed to be fixed. She was fast and efficient on what she does and would definitely call for her help. She also gave great value prices for my car.

During the week I was having a few issues with my car and happened to stop at the Auto World on Stockton blvd to ask about pricing, I had the pleasure of speaking to Bella who had a great attitude (you don’t see much these days) and a smile on her face. She answered all my questions with complete clarity and honesty and even eased my mind on how I was going to take care of the payment. She even took the time of Introducing me to the technician who would be doing the repairs for me, that made me feel like they actually cared more than just making a sale. Thank you Bella for making my experience less stressful. I will definitely be coming back to work with her.

That’s a solid deal you don’t see often! They handled the camber, caster, and toe alignment perfectly, and my car drives straight as an arrow now with no issues. If you’re looking for a dependable place to get your alignment done, this is it. The only hiccup is their phone system, which can be a bit glitchy at times. However, they’re super responsive on Yelp, so if you have trouble calling, just send them a message, and they’ll get back to you. You can tell the owner is hustling hard to build a great business, so a little patience goes a long way. Overall, I highly recommend Auto World for quick, affordable, and quality service!

I recently purchased a 2018 Dodge Charger from Auto World. I worked with Omer and he provided outstanding customer service with a smile and a handshake. I recently had repairs done to my car by the Auto World techs and let me tell you they are a cut above the other mechanics I have worked with. Beware of Fraudulent Practices and Poor Customer Service at Auto World of Sacramento On 01/06/2025 , I contacted Auto World of Sacramento regarding their advertised brake special. I was informed by their secretary that the cost for front brakes was $100, back brakes were $100, and each rotor was an additional $100. Since I knew only one rotor was bad, I expected a total of $300, as quoted. While I have some knowledge of vehicle repairs, I did not disclose this to the shop because I wanted to see if they were trustworthy. Upon arrival, I noticed several red flags: 1. My vehicle sat for two hours without any inspection or diagnostics, despite my 2:30 appointment. 2. I was eventually handed an itemized estimate of $1,500, which falsely claimed I needed all four rotors replaced in addition to new brakes. 3. When I challenged this, they reluctantly revised the estimate to $598 for just the front brakes and one rotor, far exceeding the $300 quote I received earlier. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told the additional cost was for labor, which was never disclosed during the initial conversation. The paperwork stated labor was $390, but the employee then claimed it was only $160. When I pointed out the inconsistency, they suddenly “fixed” the estimate, offering a mere $10 discount, reducing the price to $580. At this point, I expressed my dissatisfaction and firmly requested my keys. They then tried to charge me $160 for a diagnostic fee, even though their secretary had explicitly stated there was no charge for a quote. When I tried to photograph the contract I signed earlier, the employee blocked me, likely knowing it didn’t support their claims. My wife, who was on speakerphone and recording the interaction, informed them that holding my vehicle without consent and attempting to charge unauthorized fees is illegal. She cited specific laws related to fraud and unlawful detention. Only after this did they release my vehicle without payment. As I was leaving, the mechanic followed me outside, falsely accusing me of damaging a mirror and stealing his phone, clearly attempting to intimidate me further. I took my vehicle to another mechanic, who confirmed that only one rotor needed replacement, as I had initially suspected. I now have the paperwork to prove this. Key Issues: • Fraudulent estimates and inflated charges. • Failure to disclose costs upfront, including labor fees. • Attempts to intimidate and harass customers. • Violation of consumer protection laws by falsely holding my vehicle and trying to charge for unauthorized services. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and encourage others who have had similar experiences to do the same. Consumers should not have to endure such unethical practices. Auto World of Sacramento , you have an opportunity to address these issues and change your business practices. If you deny the claims, I am prepared to release video and audio evidence of this encounter to substantiate my statements. To potential customers: proceed with caution. This shop’s practices are deceptive and predatory, and I hope this review prevents others from experiencing the same treatment.

Worst experience buying tires here, bought one tire and it became flat, then I came back, they replaced it, however after two weeks the tire became falt again, terrible service here. They sell super used tires and are not funcional at all.

I came to Auto World of Sacramento to help my girlfriend get a replacement tire for her Honda. She’s in the process of getting a new car, so we were trying to keep things simple and affordable. Unfortunately, after running over a nail a few weeks ago, she needed yet another new tire—this time within a month. Pre-owned tires don’t typically come with warranties, so I didn’t have high expectations. But I was honestly blown away by how helpful and kind the team here was. April, who answered the phone, was so sweet and helpful right from the start. She explained everything clearly, confirmed they didn’t offer warranties but told me they’d give us $10 off the replacement. That little gesture already made me feel like they cared about more than just making a sale. When we got there, they even took the time to find a tire that closely matched her other ones so we didn’t have to replace two tires at once—a big relief since that’s usually the recommendation. Bobby, who worked on the car, was just as great. He was thorough, friendly, and made sure everything was done safely. This was our second time coming here, and both times, he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and that really matters when it comes to something as important as your car’s safety. Honestly, if you’re in need of pre-owned tires and feel a little hesitant, this is the place to go. They don’t just treat you like another customer—they actually take the time to help and make you feel like your business is appreciated. I had an emergency with my tire last night, although it was too close to closing they still offered me to leave my car there over night and get it taken care of first thing in the morning, they did exactly that. Bobby called me to let me know my car was ready, he was fast and efficient and very communicative. Highly recommend Autoworld.

I never write reviews but I have to share my experience. My car had an evap code, and I couldn’t find a solution at any mechanic shop I even went to Elk Grove CDJR for a $400 diagnostic and they said to replace the same thing that I already replaced citing that I used faulty parts because they were not franchise parts ofc they want to sell me their parts. I went to Omar although a small shop their expertise is unmatched. Before Auto World I spent almost 1800 for an evap issue which is bonkers. Right away Omar and his team said we already know the issue and it’s a sensor right above the gas tank very common on my car. And sure enough it was the permanent code went away after a few days of driving and the issue never popped up. Not to say he only charged me $800, a little more than the diag few Elk Grove CDJR charged and they couldn’t even find the problem. Never assume big shops are good honestly no matter the size of the shop it’s the expertise that matters. Auto World is the goat, thanks Omar, Zack, and Tom you guys are the great only place I refer ppl to now.

Waited 3 hours just to get an alignment sure it was cheap but they couldn't even get my 4runner aligned to specifics. I have a lifted 4runner.. they try to tell me I need new upper control arms when I had just replaced them with SPC UCAs so I know that's not the problem for getting accurate alignment. These guys just don't know how to do a lifted off road alignment and they don't know how to work with offroad parts. Don't come here for truck alignments.
