Auto world west loop said that they would solder a new connector to my wastegate solenoid for my turbocharger. They said that they completed the work and charged me almost 200 dollars. I recently had it looked over by another mechanic. He unwrapped the new connector which was covered in electrical tape, only to find that the new connector had the plastic coverings still on the wires. It was never installed. I was told that a similar job would have been upwards of 2000 dollars. I was charged for the technician to wrap up my connector in electrical tape and left uninstalled to have me return for more “work needed”. I did not return as I had the old connector soldered on by another mechanic and it fixed the issue. Again this issue was looked over by someone else and soldered the connector and my vehicle was working perfectly and cleared any lights on the dashboard. Autoworld west loop may have 5 stars but their practices are deceptive and seem helpful but are definitely not as they first seem.

Check engine light was on so I took it in, They took the time to check it out right away, gas cap was not tight so they cleared the code and sent me on my way, Excellent customer service, Highly recommend, Thanks

Raul and his team got me on their schedule quick when I had some sudden and unexpected issues. They diagnosed my Jeeps issues in less than a day, and tackled them very quickly and at a fair price. They updated me regularly and were easy to work with. Jeep is back to running normal and seems the issues were addressed well. Thanks Auto World!

Was recently traveling through Houston and ended up in need of some urgent assistance with my car. I chose Auto World West Loop as they had the highest rating and best reviews. Raul was absolutely amazing. He took my car in asap and quickly assessed the issue and corrected it so that I could confidently get on the road for a long drive the next day. Raul is a good communicator, their prices were fair and the work was of high quality. If I lived in Houston I would trust Raul and team and use them all the time.

My used Toyota had been running great for years - until it wasn't. Out of the blue the engine almost died at a stoplight and then began running very rough. I pulled off the side of the road and called AutoWorld to tell the that I would try to make it to their shop. I did make it and Raul diagnosed the problem. One of the four cylinders was not firing. He said that my 12-year-old had never had a tuneup. It wasn't an expense I expected but it was money well spent. My engine runs like new and AutoWorld took care of me at the spur of the moment in only a few hours. If that is the kind of service you want, give them a try.

Over the years Raul has assisted me multiple times with sincerity, speed, honesty, and kindness. Most recently, he helped me replace my brake light so that my car could pass an inspection. I did not have an appointment, but he made me a priority anyway. My repair was done in minutes. I have nothing but good interactions and experiences when I bring my car to Auto World West Loop. I will be back!

Great shop with honest mechanics !!! My fiancé broke down in Houston while I was at work (2 hours away) , insurance towed to the shop . The customer service was top notch . They diagnosed the car quickly and kept me informed every step on the repairs . I made the trip down to pick up the car a couple days later and have had no issues since .

Raul and the rest of the guys at Auto World are the best! They have been working on my truck for over 3 years now and every time I go there, I always leave with a big smile on my face: From replacing the brakes, to tire pressure sensor issues, wheel alignment to helping me select the best and most cost effective tires for my truck - the work and service they provide is top notch! AutoWorld was recommend to me by the owner of another auto repair company that closed when the owner retired. I have been using Auto World for over a year and find that they have great fast service, excellent customer service and fair pricing. I have an older car and they never try to sell me anything I don't need.

Been a customer for several years. Recently had an actual problem with my vehicle. I accidentally pulled out of my garage a bit too soon and partially ripped my Mazda cx-5 antenna off…oops and eek. Raul gave me my options, told me the cost of materials and labor. They are always so helpful in this department…they don’t just tell you how much it’s going to be they go beyond and give you options. At the same time my antenna incident occurred it also turned out my engine light turned on while on route to Auto World and my battery was dead, They checked the battery and found out it was under warranty (matter of days) so all I owed was the labor to put it in..,very nominal. Anyway , I am rambling but I really like Raul, Gerry and the whole crew. They even gave me a ride home and picked as I live very close by. Really appreciated that. I always use Auto World for my oil changes and state inspections and have been a customer since 2019
