I’ve been to Auto Brake Air and Muffler Shop in Tampa, FL a few times now, and I can't recommend them enough! Joe is truly one of a kind—so nice, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me find the best solution for my car issues. As a young adult without my parents around to help, it can be overwhelming when car problems arise, but Joe made me feel completely at ease. His dedication and patience really stood out. The team is incredibly kind and fun, and their care meant so much to me. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone looking for trustworthy service!

Great experience. Had prior quote for over $1,500 to replace compressor, condenser, a/c clutch, etc on my 03 Toyota, he was able to fix for $20 by adding freon. Particularly pleased that his initial reaction was similar to other shop, but took extra steps to test the freon level and determine that appeared to only be an issue with freon rather than having to replace everything. Will likely switch to him as new mechanic.

I highly recommend this mechanic shop! They did the brakes on my two Priuses, and both are running great. They are always available on time and ready to help. Today, I took my other Prius in because I was hearing noise from the tires, and they did excellent work. If you need a reliable mechanic, look no further. This shop is the best!

Owner/Mechanic Joe is in my opinion and experience an excellent, reliable and honest mechanic. I usually never feel completely comfortable about work or price when I have work done on my vehicles, but Joe was the exception!

We were helping our daughter move from Nashville to Tampa. On the drive down to Tampa we noticed every time we used the brakes,especially on hills, the car would shutter. We decided to continue driving to Tampa.We do no know a soul in Tampa so took a chance and took the car to Joe at Auto-Air” brake & muffler. We will forever be thankful for Joe. He fit us in, diagnosed the brakes, showed us exactly what the issue was, called several parts companies until he found the correct part at the best price. He understood we were only in Tampa for the day, so he worked very hard to get it done in one day! Who helps people out like that. Honest, hardworking and I feel as though we made a friend in Tampa. We are so lucky we found his shop! 💖 Thank you Joe!

This is by far the best auto service shop I have ever been to. And I'm not young : ) Joe did a great job at having my car running like a champ. The cost was under his estimated quote. I can not say enough good things about this excellent family owned business!

Do not go here for exhaust work. Drove 30 min to an exhaust shop for the guys sitting down to tell me that dont do exhaust work there. Not even kidding. Exhaust guy retired! Go somewhere else for your exhaust work! Youve been warned!

First of all Thank You Joe!!!! Joe is simply the best in business across the 50 states in the US , these are not just words please come and try, he is the best in terms of honesty, THE BEST in labor and MOST importantly quality and a humble human being!!! My experience on AC repair and clock spring replacement was simply at its best and I couldn’t have asked for anything better, I saved 100s of dollars as joe simply turned down the recommendation from another repair shop, he could have easily made money by just acknowledging what I wanted but that’s the quality of this gentleman!!and it’s your turn now to know that this place for car repair is a no brainer !!!

I really recommend this place. Joe is a great mechanic knows what to do also his dad. I been a coustomer for 4 years. Prices are low and they are quick. They won't keep ur car for days. Same day service 💯 %. Highly recommend

Joe is incredibly friendly and has the best prices for every repair job. He's very fast, too. I took my vehicle in for the brakes (needed back rotors replaced) and it was less than $300! I'll definitely come again when I need anything done with my car.

Recently had AC repair fixed while traveling in Tampa from Virginia. The owner is great. Very clear communications; prompt service; and FAIR service. Ended up charging me less than estimated, because that's what it ended up costing. Lots of integrity in this shop.

Great Service, I’ve taken my car here on more than one occasion and have had an amazing experience every time. My A/C compressor broke a few days ago and my car was looked at and assessed quickly. I came back today and he installed a new compressor for the best price I could find. Very friendly, very fast, very professional. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at this auto repair service today.I called this afternoon and was told that they could repair my brakes right away.I was met by Joe who has a way of making every customer feel valued.My new brakes were installed quickly and at an honest, very reasonable price.I feel like I have found a place that I can trust as my go to car repair. Okay, so it's been 2 weeks now, my car is running like it did when it was new! Before writing the review, I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to make certain all things were working without issue. Service was not only super helpful by phone, Joe got me in the next day. I drove from North Tampa area, its a long way w/ rotors that were sticking & brakes that were working, but not efficiently. He quickly ordered parts, sent back what he didn't use, handled things as they came & made sure I was getting the best professional information, while saving me time & money. It's convenient to have Armature Works so close. I got to work for a bit & have some coffee while I waited. It took him a couple of hours & I was literally out of there! I am still so pleased w/ the entirety of the service. I appreciate you!
