I called in to get a quote, whomever picked up the phone, did not say anything about my question and proceeded to put me on hold, where I waited for Over 9 mins..when I called back they hung up in my face. When I finally got someone, he asked how could he help me I told him I had been on hold and hung up on and will write a review about it..he then told me to take my business elsewhere. Hmmgh..discriminate..much??

I came to the dealership with a price in mind and when I came to get my vehicle she charged me 2000$ more without justification … she told me to go back to my country when I’m an American citizen

DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A MAJOR SCAM!!!! First off there’s a ton of cars always in the front which is red flag number one. Second off when you drop your car off TAKE A PICTURE OF THE ENVELOPE PRICES!!! You won’t see those low of prices again when they triple it later on your “receipt” which they won’t provide to you unless you relentlessly call them for it. What they quote you versus what you pay is extremely different, you can’t go on their website and see how much a diagnostic would cost because it takes you to something completely different like oil prices. When you call and ask for a base price they run around and say you HAVE to come in and put your key in a box that is in the front of the store with a paper detailing your name and what not and they will work on it. Our car was having trouble and this place was the closest one to the hotel so we had no choice, we left it there and they told us it was our Cadillac converter (news flash it was not turns out the car just overheated and needed coolant) and it would be about $2,700 to fix it and everything, and the price for the diagnostic which originally was supposed to be anywhere from 30-99, ended up being 236 just for them to put a machine on the vehicle. When I called and asked why it was 300 they said that they charge 160 dollars an hour for a diagnostic, I told them about the envelope prices and the lady said “oh yeah” even then we all know it didn’t take 2 hours for them to misdiagnose a car with a machine that takes 5 minutes. Not only did we have to call for a WEEK to get a receipt but they again give the run around. These 5 star reviews have to be fake I wouldn’t even trust them to change out a tire they are insanely incompetent. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY AND DONT GO HERE!!

Angel and his crew did a great job with my trucks they were very professional and they called and kept in communication with me what was going on they did not waste any time and did not waste my time and I appreciate the expertise that they did repairing two old trucks of mine they treated my trucks the same as if they were brand new trucks and they run great also I appreciate it their attention to detail they try to cover everything and replace everything in perfect condition Curry Franks

Go with your gut feeling. I grew up in East Austin and my entire life I never had anyone refer me or ever heard anything good or bad about this shop. It's like it almost didn't exist. My truck started having squeaky breaks so I decided to look up a local shop nearby. I work from home so something close would be convenient. I'm planning a trip the upcoming weekend and need the truck in good driving condition. I decided to give this place a shot. As soon as I pull up I notice the large amount of cars just scattered. I say to myself maybe this is a good thing as they are getting business, but something was telling me to drive away. I should have listened.... I went ahead and left my truck with these guys. Explained my issue and asked when it would be ready. I was told they would look at it and call me with estimate. Conveniently after I agreed I was told about that 160 diagnostic fee just for looking at it. I dropped it off around 130pm on Friday. I got a call at 3:20pm that all 4 rotors and brakes need replacing and it would cost me 1300. I knew this was higher than average but I was planning a trip. I was willing to pay the premium if it could be completed today. I reluctantly agreed. I shopped around and called back 20 minutes later and asked if they started as I found a better deal. At this point they should have let me take my business elsewhere. Instead they said it's already being worked on and offered me a 15 percent discount. This discount is not anywhere near the savings I was quoted from another shop. I still went ahead and agreed since they said it would be fixed today. I get a call back at 4:54pm, I assumed the truck is ready. Instead it's bad news that they had the wrong parts. Why it took that long to notice that is concerning. I asked well at this point I need this repaired and I have an alternatives shop I can use. Just give me my truck back in it's original condition. He said he would reach out to the parts team again and call me back. I get a call back at 5:12pm that they found the parts and it would be ready at 6. They sent me a link to pay online and said the truck key would be in a lock box. Something told me not to pay online and to drive up there to see what's going on. As I am on the way I get a call at 5:34pm from them saying that the parts actually weren't right and they have to keep my truck until Monday. I told them at this point I don't trust them to properly repair my vehicle due to their negligence. I asked them not to resume any work and I'll come on Monday to get my truck. After I ended the call I thought about my personal belongings in the truck bed. I called back and got the Manager Earnie. She advised the truck is secured in the work bay. She went on re explaining the issue but not able to empathize with me at all. She was placing blame on the part supplier. When you run a business you are accountable for whoever you are affiliated with. I advised her that I understand the issues, but I no longer have faith or feel comfortable having my car serviced by them. She advised to pay and have the truck towed because they can't be liable for installing the old brakes and rotors. I arrived at location to resume this discussion in person. No middle ground or compromise was offered. She even removed the 15 percent discount and said I could pay for the work that was done with total 800 and tow it away Monday. She then refused to speak on it anymore and basically said come back Monday. This was intentional to put me in a situation where I had no choice but to pay. I found better price and called back in 20 minutes. Instead of giving me an option to take my service elsewhere. You say my truck is already being worked on. Then turn around later with a parts issue that delays repair until next week. I was manipulated by shady business practices. Do not recommend.

I was referred to Automotive Services of Austin after my car was towed and damaged during the process. Of course the tow company offered to get my truck fixed . I was a bit skeptical but I had to trust and believe that they were going to take care of me. As a single mom this is not easy for me just to let my truck go to get fixed not knowing when you're going to get it back. But with automotive services of Austin. I was able to go in take pictures. Leave to go to work. And able to schedule a week where they would be have my truck to be repaired. This worked great for me because I was able to schedule for someone to pick me up and take me to work so I could get my truck fixed. Super convenient, very reliable, and on time. I dropped my truck off on a Monday and got my truck back on Friday evening. Just in time for me to have my own truck to work that Saturday. Angel the owner even texted me and asked how was my truck doing after a week or two. It's nice to know that people like to follow up. #pleased

I have been coming to these folks since I moved to Austin many years ago... Though I know I have many garages between my house and their garage, I feel it's worth a drive. They will work with you and make you understand the repair.

DO NOT GO HERE $260 for oil change, headlight and a diagnostic on my door handle. They make you sign a waiver that agrees to the diagnostic so regardless they are gonna rob you.

I was really happy with my service here! I took in my car for a suspected problem & the mechanics called saying they inspected my car thoroughly and there wasn't an issue...I think it's so refreshing that you can trust a mechanic to tell you the honest truth and not try to "find a problem" to charge you OR upsell you. They also fixed my check tire pressure light and airbag light for free :D Thank you!!!!

I was vacationing in Austin when I ran into an issue with my vehicle. My truck engine started overheating and the coolant tank would not hold any fluid. I was able to drop off my vehicle and get it fixed within 2 days. The service was timely and much appreciated due to me having to get back to my hometown within the coming days. The staff was honest with me and worked with me in order for us to come to a solution of getting the car repaired. Great auto shop, with great people.

Own a Fiat 500. Three times, they could not find the issue with my car. My car was unsafe to drive. It kept stalling while I was driving. They released the vehicle to me and lied that it had no issues. They drove the car to point it had 0 gas and didn’t bother to fill it not even a little bit. They also took $136 dollars from me with no repairs being done and said it was okay to drive. Total money out of pocket close to $400. As I was driving to the gas station the car didn’t make it. Had to push it. I put gas in my car and the car didn’t start. On my way home, the car stalled out three times and this is after they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and said it was safe to drive. You cannot trust this place. They lie. It’s really hard to find honest people. They will try to take as much money from you as they can. If you do any work here ask to see the replaced part. Good luck! Also I want to add that they kept my car for over a week without any updates. I had to call them and on that same day they said the car was ready. It wasn’t ready at all. They just left it there on their lot until I had to call for updates. Picked up the car, same issue. Didn’t bother go to back, called my warranty service that they never fixed the problem and begged them that I didn’t want to go back, so I took it to a Fiat dealer which sadly for me will cost me more $$$$

They fixed the charging system on my husband's car in one day, in that morning, out by 5:00pm. I had researched how much it would cost, their price was 1/2 of what I expected. Theres a 2yr warranty. There friendly & knowledgeable, called me, to keep me up to date on how it was progressing. I recommend them to everyone!
