I spoke with Russell and Rich; both were professional and knowledgeable. They performed the usual diagnostic on my vehicle and alerted me to what they recommended and replaced the left front inner wheel well and front lower splash shield, which were damaged driving into and through the freaking countless potholes in the city. Pricing was reasonable.

For years, I have been going to Brentwood, which is now AutoStream. They have been consistent through and through. While, they may not be the cheapest in town, you get what you pay for. When the work is done, they stand by it. Most parts come with a shop warranty! They offer cash back on services and even transportation (within a certain mile limit), which is helpful. If you have a warranty, they are listed as one of the auto shops you can go to for work so that you don't only have to go to the dealer. Its nice to have a go to mechanic you can trust.

I went to autostream in Hampden yesterday and got multiple services done in one day! Everyone in the office were very friendly, professional, and helpful. When they send you an update once they complete the multipoint inspection of your car, they include the photos of the parts that need to be repaired/replaced, which keeps things transparent. I don't know much about cars, but they explained everything in easier language. 10/10 service! Thank you!

Excellent service. Dropped my car off for Maryland inspection. Not like some other places that are looking for any and everything to fail you. Told me clearly what things were needed to pass and what things were suggestions. Adam was very helpful. Even dropped me back home while I left my car at the shop so I didn’t have to take an Uber. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. Easily a 5 star experience.

I brought my beat-up 2008 Honda Civic to AutoStream Hampden asking for them to work a miracle and bring it back to life. Not only did they help me out, they were extremely kind, transparent, and reasonable the entire time. As a young woman who knows nothing about cars, I am always wary of being taken advantage of, but they give thorough explanations and never try to pressure me into additional services (they even offer to discuss details with my Dad!). I have since returned two other times and still receive the best service from the friendly and attentive staff. They have a customer for life, especially if the continue to extend the life of my Civic with each visit :D! I could not recommend more! Thank you AutoStream Hampden!!

I've always had a good experience at AutoStream in Hampden. The detailed summary (including photos!) of the inspection is super helpful. They have a shuttle service that will take you to and from the shop. Good mechanics, and a friendly and trustworthy staff.

When you find out you need repairs on my son’s car that is in the thousands, it’s a shock! This Team was professional, knowledgeable (a Prius tech in house), and most of all very kind, and I’m happy we came here. Kept in communication with me. They worked w me and did all possible to reduce the cost. Have a warranty as well. Appreciated Eric very much! Highly recommend!

I got to work with a flat tire. When I called and explained my situation, I was upset and overwhelmed. I was invited to visit for an inspection despite it being shortly before closing. Mr. Eric was so incredibly kind and sweet as he took care of me. Even though my tire couldn't be replaced immediately in the shop, the team was able to locate my specific need and ordered for the very next day -- and switched my flat for my spare. I am very grateful for their gentleness, and will be recommending them to all I can.

My mother had her tire go completely flat while driving and she was fortunate enough to pull into AutoStream. The team there was uber professional and extra kind. They gave her a ride to our house in Guilford with her groceries and called back with a very fair estimate to replace two bad tires. They did the work that afternoon and we picked the car up at 4:45pm. They explained the work, and even backed the car in so that she could easily pull into traffic. It was a six star experience. We will be back to AutoStream for other car services in the future. Highly recommend!

How the mighty have fallen. Their $80 inspection is seemingly done via carfax so if you had work done at a place that doesn't report to carfax, they don't think it was done. In less than half a year they went from being flexible about what was needed to be done, to talking down to grown adults like they were 6, about their own cars. Ever since Autostream took over they have been getting less and less about being a good neighbor and customer service. Now its all about gett6ing every dime they can from their customers. I know their land isn't cheap but thats no reason to belittle and talk down to your clients, or in this case EX clients. Especially those who have been going there for many years. Until Today that is.

They did the job I asked them to do. It took telling them FOUR TIMES that I only wanted an oil change for my 10 year old car with a Kelly Blue Book value of <$3k and not approximately $4k worth of ‘repairs’ they listed (and is only used for grocery runs of less than 5 miles). Next time, I’ll just take the car to Valvoline.

We have been going to AutoStream in Hamden for ever and always trust their work . We take both our cars , 2016 Prius C and a 2009 VW beetle . The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful . Service that is Reliable , timely and at a good price
