A good mechanic is hard to find and getting harder. Chris has gained my trust over the years to repair my Audi better than the dealership would for less money. I hear horror stories from friends about their awful experiences with auto mechanics and I just feel so lucky to have Chris in my corner to take care of me. You simply won't find a better guy out there.

Chris has been taking care of my now 110K+ mile VW GTI for many years now. I can always trust him to do an honest evaluation and work on my car, you can see and hear the PASSION from him. I recently brought in my Audi for routine maintenance. Chris was straightforward and honest in all respects. His price quote was accurate, he finished the work on time, and he sat down with me to give me a thorough rundown on my car's condition and what to look out for in the future. I'll definitely come back when the maintenance window rolls around again.

My Audi A4 failed to pass smog with an OBDII not ready error. I tried to follow some online instructions to resolve the issue to no avail. I took my car to Autowerkstat and they were able to resolve the issue quickly. Thanks to Autowerkstat my car passed the smog test! I can't say enough about the excellent service here.

The owner, Chris, is a stand-up guy who runs a great shop. He has excellent communication, is honest and transparent, has the best customer service of any shop I've ever been to, and has fair prices to boot. It's an old school, no frills type of shop that just does solid work. If you own a German car that needs repair or maintenance, look no further.

Chris is great. Really knows these cars and doesn't take short cuts. Also gives you decent idea of how long a repair might (MIGHT) be able to hold off on until big issue if $$ flow is an issue. That's what really sets apart good mechanics. Ones that try to get any work they can now by saying some is critical when not, and one that knows that good work brings back customers!

Can't say enough about this place. Very professional and knowledgeable. Make sure you call in advance because sometimes they get very busy. I guess this place isn't my "little secret" any more, but when you do fantastic work like these guys do, word gets around! Actually, its my fault because I tell all of my friends and family about them. Long story short, these guys are GOOD, HONEST and FAIR. I don't know what more you could ask for!

I was out of town and in an urgent need to repair a leaky water pump on my X6. These guys took care of me in the quickest time possible. I was on the road the next day and for half the price of the local dealer that could not take me till the next week. Great service, great people and great prices. Thank You again!

We've had our fleet of Audi and Volkswagen cars (6 vehicles) maintained by Chris for over 7 years now, and we couldn't be happier! Autowerkstat is by far the best Audi/VW shop in the Bay Area. The quality of their work is impeccable and would embarass any of the high price high pretense Audi dealers in the area. Prices are very reasonable, and Chris tries his best to get the best prices for parts and to avoid unnecessary part replacements, passing the savings to his customers. I would not have anyone else take care of my cars!
