Josh fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Josh also answered all of my questions and explained everything with ease. He even stayed late and checked my car twice before I left to make sure all was good. If you’re a women anxious about going to an auto shop or know nothing about cars; you can trust that they will handle everything properly/professionally. Also, they have a really nice sitting area to make the time go by. This is by far my best auto care experience I’ve had in Hillsborough county in the past 6 years I’ve been living here. Thank yall!

Took my Dodge Durango here and am very pleased with the service I received. Josh took extreme care to explain everything to me during the diagnosis process and made me feel comfortable with everything they needed to do to make the repair. Will be coming back and referring others.

I’ve been coming here several times over the years but my last service advisor was killer. Josh was prompt in handling everything, great communication, and was incredibly polite and honest. I recommend Autoworks but a huge shout out to Josh!

I recently had brake line problem with my 2012 Range Rover. I was visiting from N.C. and needed to get home. Cory answered my call and after some description confidently told me that my problem could be handled. I was on my way back home in less than 48hrs. This was not an easy repair. I am completely satisfied and recommend calling AutoWorks of Tampa /Cory and your problem will go away.

This is very expenssive. and they are giving false information i took my audi for the inspection they said 170$ only for the inspection i said ok... after 7hours they called me and they said my timing chain is bad its cost 5000$ to fix it but there is nothing with the timing change they didnt find about the oil leak i asked about the oil burn they said you need to pay again 170$ for the reinspection please dont waste your money by visiting this shop........

Awesome shop, great customer service! Corey had great communication through the whole process stuck to his word and kept his original pricing! I know hard to find all that In a mechanic shop in Tampa!! Not to mention they have the best waiting area I’ve ever had the pleasure of waiting in!! I’ll definitely return for any repairs or maintenance in the future!! Oh yeaaa they accept SNAP FINANCE also! so really no reason not to check them out.ask for Corey! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!

first thing Cars is a Hobbie, I know a lot about cars. Now when I brought the in I spoke a Representaive on the phone when I found there shop on google. he told me to bring it in to make sure they can diagnose the problem and not waste money on it that I don't need too. This is after I spoke about what happened and ideas I think might be. when I brought it in, it was in the middle of the night, which they are able to accept. Now I have a Pt Cruiser Gt Turbo, the engine is a srt-4 turbo engine. everything is forged internall, strong motor, only reason why I bought the car. they diagnosed it. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and that was to save me money. the final result was that the fix was going to be more than what the car is worth, and instead of going through the 2 hour daignostics, that I approved, they went 1 hour and said it's pretty definitiv, that the result is a new PC, after 20 years on the road. I'm sure it needs a new PCM. Engine is Turbo In a small space of that engine bay in that car, the heat of that motor could melt metal on a hot summer day in Tampa. I don't like mechanic shops, I like to work on my own car to know what's going with it, what I need to baby or I know what it can handle. Sometimes you don't have the time. I would Highly recommend this Mechanic shop to anyone. From moms, to people who like to work on cars themselves, but don't have the time. they are attentive, intelligent, and caring to things you need. also understand what is important and helps you try to get there. I hope they are here for a long time.

I’ve had my vehicle serviced by AutoWorks of Tampa previously and those experiences were fine. My rating comes from my most recent experience. I went to get my vehicle serviced for my breaks they were making a squealing noise. After receiving the service, I returned my vehicle to the shop again a few days later because the noise hadn’t stopped and my vehicle was looked at again. After picking my vehicle up the second time, within 48 hours, my right front tire fell off while attempting to park. I learned later it was from a damaged wheel bearing/ wheel hub and the tires themselves were in a bad condition. My problem regarding this incident was that my vehicle was looked at twice before this incident happened, and not once was I informed of this. The repairs for those parts cost me north of $2,000.00 at another establishment. It could have been avoided had I been informed beforehand what was seen. And now my vehicle had body damage that I will have to get looked at at some point. I feel like this was a complete fail of informing the customer by the merchant. When I did reach out to Autoworks regarding the situation and my experience, nothing but condolences for my experience was offered. I could not believe it. Besides the money part, the most important part was the safety aspect. That wheel fell off while I was in an apartment complex attempting to park. What if I had been in traffic on Dale Mabry? Or on I-75 in rush hour traffic? Or if I had my kids in the car? It’s much bigger than $2,000.00.

Real deal mechanic shop, Ms. Sara kept me updated with everything I needed to know . If you want your car fixed without the hassle and games go there !!!! Born and raised in Tampa and I’ve experienced a lot of mechanic shops and they may not be the cheapest but I can bet you their going to get your car running and I will be back in the future with all my other cars if I have car issues. Again thanks Sara and the Autoworks crew!

Went here today after being told by an oil change service that my car needed over $500 in brake services. Got a free brake inspection where they were honest and ended up saving me money. They also fixed the botched oil change job the oil change service place provided, which they did more efficiently and at a cheaper price. Will be coming back!

Auto Works are liars and theives.!Do not! Take your car there! They are the worst car repair shop I have ever done business with. I took my daughters car there because it was runing poorly and the check engine light was on.I also told them that the a/c was'nt blowing cold and the blower motor was making noise. He told me that her car warranty she had would cover the a/c blower and cover the parts needed to fix the a/c accept the high pressure hose that was leaking. And that she would have to pay for it. He wanted to charge her a crazy amount to replace it. I told him never mine about the a/c just fix everything else.When we went to pick it up the check engine light was still on and the a/c blower motor had'nt been replaced.He told that I did'nt tell him about the a/c blower motor.He also told me had put freon in the a/c and that it was blowing cold but, would only last for a couple of weeks or so.When I got in the car and turned on the a/c it was blowing hot air. He then told me that it had already ran out. At this point I just wanted to leave this place.A Few days later the check engine light is back on and the car is runnig poorly again. I went to the part store and bought some freon and put it in two days ago and the A/c is still blowing cold. I'm afraid to take it back now because I have no faith in them anymore.

I highly recommend AutoWorks of Tampa! I’ve been bringing my VW GTI to this shop for almost two years for everything from oil changes to unexpected repairs. The work and customer service is top tier! Michael Burke is the best service advisor. He takes the time to explain every issue and cost. He’s always accommodating with my schedule and need for a ride or loaner. Always going above and beyond for his customers! Debra is also impressive with her customer service skills and knowledge. Super helpful! I’m so glad I found a great, reliable shop.

I thought about making this long reviews explaining my experience, im gling to some everything up. Everyone from debra, jim and heck even the owner bob everyone over ar auto works of tampa or God sent. We had some issues with the warranty company but debra haf my back. Jim he did an awesome job on the work to my vehicle. Even down to ther porter everyone is professional nice and they do great work. 10 out of 10 i will be returning for my basics services needs. Being a veteran its really hard to trust people but auto works has your best i interest.

Michael Burke and Deborah have made my visit to AutoWorks an easy and expeditious transition. While experiencing little to no downtime. I was able to go about my day as normal. Had a great experience getting a quick oil change. Was in and out in 2 hours thanks to Mike. They did my breaks and replaced the cabin filter the time before I was there and did a great job too. Will definitely keep using them.

I experienced Autoworks of Tampa for the first time a couple weeks ago and was really pleased with the service! It’s like a little hidden gem in the heart of Seminole Heights. Specifically. I needed to have a unique fix for some trigger buttons that busted in my 2012 Hyundai Sonata and Michael Burke was super great to work with and responsive. I especially love that you can text directly with your service provider! Highly recommend this shop.

The service I received was absolutely amazing and phenomenal! I dropped my car off at 8 am with two issues, (AC & Power), left went to my doctors appointment, can back and picked up my car. Not to mention my warranty covered everything! Just a $50 deductible. Sarah Clemis helped me! This team and shop is amazing!

I had an excellent experience from what I walked in the door. I was lucky enough to get in without an appointment. My change engine oil had gone on and in addition to having an oil change I wanted tires rotated, fluids checked and replenished where necessary, belts checked. The mechanic found 3 concerns; I was shown the problems and told how critical each was. No hard sell, just facts. Work was done while I waited in an air-conditioned room with a cup of coffee. Work was done; problems were addressed; and the price was right! I'll be back.

This was my first experience with Auto Works Of Tampa, and they have earned my business. They were professional, courteous, and fast. Debra Stone (manager) was so helpful and kind. I would recommend them to anyone with a foreign car.
