The folks at AutoWorks have always treated us well. No hidden charges or surprises, and upfront with the costs. They're hard working and got my car back on the road quickly. I appreciated that we were able to get an appointment immediately. The diagnosis, including a video showing some of the results, was texted to me, and a quote was provided all within 2 hours of initiating work. My car was fixed within 24 hours. Upfront, communicative, and quick—what's not to like about that?

So pleased with Autoworks. First, the work was completed in a timely manner and I was updated on the progress. Second- after years of owning used cars, Autoworks is one of the very few places where I’ve felt their communication with me was shared in a straightforward, upfront, knowledgeable, honest and highly important - non arrogant way. I’m tired of dealing with arrogant autoshop employees. Autoworks has my business.

Randy and the team over at AutoWorks are the best in San Antonio. They’ve always been very helpful, and the price is always fair. Never had any issues with these guys and I will take any car I have back to them for repairs and maintenance.

I took my 2020 Suburban in at 7:45 told Randy my concerns, by 9:30 They had diagnosed and recommended repairs and estimates. 12:30 that afternoon they had my vehicle back in service. All around great service. Mark, Randy and the rest at Auto Works are the Top! I've been going there for more than 25 years and have never been disappointed.

My family and myself have been going to auto works for over 30 years. Great service and only do work that is needed, they will always recommend what needs to be done; but only do the work that is ask of you. Would not take my vehical anywhere else.

Quick & efficient when it came to service, diagnostic & completing the repairs. Big disappointment that they no longer process warranty claims. Large amount out of pocket, with likelihood of not being fully reimbursed, if at all, is not acceptable for me. Unlikely to return. Unfortunate, as I really do like and trust their work & the guys who work there. If you're paying out of pocket, no warranty involved, I recommend them. But if warranted vehicle, not so much.

I usually don't post and as a matter of fact this is my first. What a terrible experience. After getting vehicle to them I was given an estimate of approx. 1,500 for repairs . I realized having done same repairs on other cars before the price was outrageous but still wanted to consider getting it done there due to convenience and vehicle already there but after speaking with management they would not go down not even a penny. Incredible poor customer service. I planned on leaving my vehicle at the shop if they would at least work with the so called diagnostic/estimate fee of $165.00 since I was giving them the $1,400 or so job, but got cold shoulder and responses from manager. No consideration at all to work around it. Well, they lost business over that fee after I advised them of the clear symptoms of the vehicle but after receiving inquiries from management on whether I was going to do job and no feedback from them in desire in working that minimal amount for a business that apparently is established I decided to take business elsewhere. Even at that no desire ever to attempt to conduct business for the repair. Definitely not a business I want to deal with. Surely they have customers , even loyal customers that likely don't know any better about mechanics and their outrageous prices. They no doubt need to work on customer service skills to possibly add to their customer base but not from here.

They mentioned that the diagnosis would be $116 and would be added into the total repair. But in the final bill they counted it separate and charged $116 on top of the repairs. Also when I returned observing the similar sound from the fixed front tires the manager called Randy started screaming and yelling at the fact that they probably would have to recheck the work and the owner was nowhere to be found who had told me to bring it in. That person was like a maniac shouting and this place should be avoided like the plague. You can get auto repair done at other shops who would do a similar job and wouldn’t scam you or scream and curse at you for just bringing the car for a recheck. This was the very first time any repair shop manager was such a mannerless barbarian in my experience.

Auto Works did a great job diagnosing the problem with our F 150 Ford. Everything was explained clearly, we received pictures of broken parts and informed of possible outcomes. Only genuine Ford parts were used. The charge was reasonable and the communication was outstanding. I would use them again without a doubt. Very friendly staff.

I had excellent service from Randy. Our suv was service in a very timely matter. I am very pleased with the work that was done. Service at Vara Chev was horrible they wanted to keep my suv 5days in the parking lot before they could even look at it. At Autocare they took it in that minute and was ready for pickup next day by noon. That’s what I say is excellent work. They also worked with my extended warranty insurance. Thank you
