Definitely didn’t like my experience and didn’t even get service went to the place no one was there the guy that I talk to was just very rude attitude. Took my business elsewhere

Just moved to Pittsburgh and my car started overheating, called Autoworx to see if they could look at it they did and diagnosed it as my water pump. I just had that part replaced and wanted a second opinion which they understood and charged a service fee. Two days later, I called and asked if I could bring it in the end of the week, they insisted to bring it on Tuesday so I did, getting Ubers for transportation for the rest of the week. When I dropped the car off I said it was out front; two days later I get a call with "bad news" as my car was towed Thursday, with instructions to pick up the key, get my car, and return it. They stated they would "knock some money off my bill" for the inconvenience, no one apologized. I did not return my car here as I was mad and my dad was mad, my parents drove a total of 8 hours the following day to tow my car home and turns out the original "diagnosis" wasn't the issue. I spent $135 on the diagnosis, $136 on the ticket, and $138 on the tow plus an absurd amount on the Ubers and Lyfts I had to use for school as well as to the tow shop, all and all over $500 with absolutely NOTHING to show for it. I was told that since I was the one who parked the vehicle I was responsible for paying; they had the keys to my car and my car for TWO days and didn't even look where it was parked, it was their responsibility just like when you drop a kid off at day care. In my field this would be consider negligence and incompetence. Happy moving to Pittsburgh :)

I appreciate Pittsburgh Autoworx helping me out with a difficult situation! My son needed some work done on his VW Jetta, but only gets every other weekend off (12 days on, 2 off!), so scheduling car repairs is really challenging! I made a Saturday appointment,but when we arrived we found out the owner was very sick and not able to be there. I was worried we would have to postpone everything another 2 weeks, but Eddie and the other gentleman took care of our Jetta right away! We called the owner to get the pricing info, picked up the car a few hours later, all done! I’m really grateful for them helping us out, even when they were going through their own tough time!

Best auto shop in Pittsburgh. Greg has gone out of his way to help me and has done nothing but terrific work in a timely manner on many of my vehicles, including older ones too. Greg is a Fantastic mechanic who i recommend avidly to all my friends. 10/10

Grate work a little higher then orther shops butt you pay for what you get,and good diagnostic and quality workman ship from auto work auto.

I took my car to get the spark plugs replaced, and it was a disaster. Didn’t even fix the problem. I had to take my car to another mechanic who found that the spark plugs were installed incorrectly. Before I left lady said “ We have a funny feeling you’ll be back soon”

Nice, convenient and doesn’t drag things along - was in and out in a day. Easy to get to especially if you live in the city or around the Strip District! Will continue to come here for car repairs.

Came in last minute on a Saturday for a big replacement on my Prius just before a trip and Greg was super great on rushing my job to get it done on time. Really appreciated it and it drives beautifully now. Really patient and works hard, great mechanic to go to and I’m not even from Pittsburgh. Thank you!

I randomly stopped at this shop for quick assistance with my mass air flow sensor so I thought. He checked my 2018 Tiguan and within minutes discovered that I had two broken boost pipes . He ordered the parts and car was done the next day!!! Great service should be a 10 Star rating. Very quick and efficient work. Excellent customer service.

I took my car here on a relatively last minute scheduling, my car was seen first thing when i dropped it off and i was let know of a quotation pretty soon after i asked for it. unfortunately my car had special problems that would cost an outrageous amount at autoworx, so thankfully and graciously, the owner let me know of a specialized mechanic in mufflers that could probably help me in a different way for a better price. that place ended up working out wonderfully. He did not charge me for anything/running a diagnostic test. Thank you autoworx!

Driving through Pittsburgh with my Family and my wheel bearing blew out. Saturday at 3:15pm these guys closed in 45 min. I call they say "come down we'll take a look" and hour later they have it fixed and ready to go. I appreciate this very much.

Had an issue with my truck which necessitated a tow. Upon researching the local repair shops, I found this shop to be open in the weekend. I needed to get back on the road, and I was on my way after a overnight stay in Pittsburgh the next day. Reasonable prices and dealing with them was super easy. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing service! I was shopping in the supermarket next door and suddenly couldn't start the engine. I contacted the owner of the store, who was very helpful and patient in teaching me how to use it! A home away from home!

Got a flat on the way into work and these guys went out of their way to get me some air in my tire (which was completely flat in the parking garage near their business). In need of new tires, they found me a great deal on what I was looking for, and had them ordered and installed, all in less than 24 hours. They made a bad situation, so much less stressful. I will definitely be using them again!!

Highly recommend this auto shop. My wife had a screw in her tire after work and Greg was able to get her in immediately on her drive home and plug it. We can’t thank Pittsburgh Autoworx enough!

I had tow truck driver recommend auto worx after I called 5 outher shops in the general area none could do a simple auto transimission fluid fill well auto worx filled her right up a little pricy but no one Elise could help so thanks a ton

I took my car for an oil/filter change only, and ended up spending around 5 hours in the shop and a HUGE bill to pay. The reason why they took such a long time with my car was that they arbitrarily changed the brake fluid and some spark plugs, so they were able to charge me $500 for the job!!! I was lucky they didn’t decide themselves that my car tires needed changed! When I asked Greg for details about such an insanely high bill, he broke it down as follows: $110 for filter change (not including the filter) just labor, $375 for the other spare parts, and a $15 “discount”. I was not given any explanation as of why other jobs were done to my car without me even asking nor authorizing it even though i was there the whole time. Of course I had to pay, otherwise they would retain my car in the shop but I felt robbed, hand-tied. The fact that I’m a foreigner doesn’t give them the right to abuse… or does it? I took my car to this shop because I trusted in the service I was going to receive but ended up totally disappointed. Of course I will never go back again and DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!

They diagnosed and fixed a sputtering engine by installing a fuel injector. They test drove it to really make sure that was the solution. Reasonable prices and a pleasure to work with. Also flushed transmission before and the car drives better.

Beetle TDI with DPF issues. After service, cabin filled with exhaust when running. I naively hoped I was smelling a rotella oil change, but #1 Cochran found and fixed issues with exhaust clamp, and several other issues with the DPF work. I suspect diesel beetles just aren't the skillset here. Interactions were nice.

Highly recommend Autoworx in the Strip District! Sunny was able to get me in the same day and I really appreciated her kindness and excellent customer service. Greg went above and beyond to work on my car and I will definitely be bringing my car back here for service!

I called in the morning and brought in my car in the afternoon and had my minor problem fixed & car back to me by the evening free of charge, even despite no appointment that day. I was also given suggestions to what services I would likely need to anticipate next, without the pressure of getting them done that day and with the honestly of what actually was crucial and what was not. Great flexibility, honesty and a place that you can trust not to rip you off, especially if you’re a woman or someone who is not well versed in car maintenance. Highly recommend!

I have previously had difficult time finding any good mechanics for my Diesel Audi in Pgh - but my man at Autoworx knew exactly what he needed to do as soon as I described my issue, and did it incredibly fast. When I picked up my car, I was extremely low on gas and admittedly a bit stressed - the owner was kind enough to bring some diesel back to the shop on his own time and absolutely saved the day.
