First time customer and was completely satisfied when I left.. Jeff began communicating via text within 10 min of booking my appointment on line. He kept me informed and made sure I was aware of costs and potential costs before it was done..Car drove super well -actually surprised me how good of a job they did. Definitely would use again .

I have been here for over a year for simple things like a oil change but today just because I asked for the oil filter from my oil change which I always ask for and they have done it before with no problem ever the guy in the shop said that he refused to do it also because I didn’t want to buy there windshield wipers because I had already paid for some and I didn’t want to buy something that I already have. It was a totally a waste of time to come here especially since my husband is a disabled veteran who has been in the hospital for 7 weeks and 6 surgeries in the past two months. But I hope that this will help someone else to avoid this business 🙏🏼🙏🏽 PS ? What used part did I have? And I was going to take a Uber.

I have to tip my hat to Jeff and Dru and anyone else apart of the team that helped fix my baby. Hard working, honest guys, respectful, knowledgeable, and just overall great. 2015 Mitsubishi outlander, they diagnosed the issue correctly after i was told something different from another place. They fixed the issue and more! Plus the price was much cheaper than the quote which i am grateful for. This place is the truth real talk and i dont trust easily. AZ LUCKY STAR FOR PRESIDENT!LOL

I went to AZ Lucky Star with concerns about my front brakes and a few other maintanence items. They were great. They went over all my concerns, and gave me peace. They informed me what needed attention and what could wait till a later time if desired. I felt they were honest and I plan on making them my go -to mechanics for future help.

Jeff and Dru and team were wonderful with my Hyundai. Jeff really worked to replicate the issue I was having with the engine. When he did, he saved me thousands of dollars by pointing out the issue was under a Hyundai recall/warranty. He suggested I take it to the dealer instead of having it fixed with him for an out of pocket cost. I appreciate his honesty and expertise! Thank you!!!

Diagnosis was not what was wrong. Wanted over 600 to repair a vacuum leak and said actuator was leaking when another mechanic checked it and was fine, found a vacuum line off. Went back and notified them of findings and they said it WAS bad. I don’t think I would go back after I paid almost 200 for a misdiagnosis.

From the start I I knew this place was quick and professional. Called me immediately after I left a voice message and looked into the problem with my truck (2005 for Explorer sport trac) even quicker. Dropped it off expecting the worst and a new transmission replacement but they diagnosed the issue properly, provided the CORRECT maintenance for the issue at a much lower price than expected. Thanks again to Jeff and the guys in the shop for being honest mechanics. Not a common thing today. Much appreciated and I'll keep returning to the shop for my auto maintenance. They even fixed the lock mechanism on my tunnell cover I couldn't figure out. Truly some of the best on this side of town! 👍 Update as of August 2024. I still continue to use this shop with pride. Jeff and the crew recently inspected the brakes on my wife's vehicle (2019 Hyundai Tucson) and replaced them more quickly and cheaper than the Hyundai dealership. Repaired a blown up spark plug in the motor. Replaced seals in my 2005 Ford truck back in June and gave a detailed inspection of everything needed to be serviced on the vehicle. Fair price, great attitudes, still the best mechanic shop I know in this part of town!

I was skeptical about coming here after reading some of the reviews and only through experience don't understand why. Some points to note 1) when you give a quote, wait until you've completed the full assessment and give one quote, the word "plus" does not serve you or your customers well. 2) I paid for a diagnostic, I believe I should have some physical evidence to support that cost such as a printout , some sort of documentation detailing your diagnosis. 3) On the invoice it says " R134" was used in my AC which we both know is the wrong one for my car so I'm chalking that one up to clerical error 4) The blend door was "loose" because I wasn't able to reach the other screw when installing it, hence why I brought it to you. It didn't need to be replaced, it was brand new. Also note, you didn't return that part either for which I could have returned for a refund. 5) Lastly, the quote for the purge valve was way over the top $600 to replace a part I can get and install myself with ease for $51. That's a hell of a mark up. Imagine coming into my restaurant and me charging you $128 for a burger, ridiculous. With all that being said, I'm sure your response will be something like " thanks for bringing your 2018 fusion to be fixed here, we so glad we could help" but alas,, you didn't. So good luck to you, I'm sure there will be plenty more suckers for you to throw your "plus" at

This is absolutely the best place I have ever taken my car. They are honest friendly. Their technician that worked on my car. Dru is a 35 year veteran of working on cars. I wanted to rewrite this b/c my last review did not make sense. I had the AC compressor replaced and somehow the fan blower is making a horrible, loud noise. It was never like that prior. When I left after I picked my CRV with AC on low it sounded fine. But when I turned the AC up it was super noisy. I called them and spoke with Jeff he said bring it back but you can't now bc we are closing. Life keeps lifing so I finally brought it back now they want to charge me $400 to replace the fan blower smh nope thanks I'm good! Please beware!

Jeff and the folks at az lucky star were awesome! My car is running better than it has in many years. They went above and beyond. Update. I've had to have my back breaks replaced already. They put the cheapest breaks they could on my car. And it cost 632 dollars. Today got better ones on for 300. The new mechanic also said all the other things replaced were also the cheapest parts they could get. I'll have to have everything done again. After spending 4200 a year ago at Az lucky star.

Just had my s550 worked on and has always been a nightmare, unfortunately I need to change from 5 stars to 2 hard not to give a one after realizing I could have done same fix much cheaper elsewhere, thought I was being taken care of but typical shops taking money and my problem still persists and today a co worker took 1 test drive and determined it is the motor mounts not the cv boots I just replaced for 3500$ which was way excessive parts cost 100$ each side and takes couple hours to do at best I talked to my mechanic and all you guys did was take every last dollar I had knowing I wasn't rich, also asked to lower the car my car is now crooked one side is higher than the other if you didn't know how to do it you shouldn't have done it in the first place, now my car looks ridiculous and to top everything off I just bought all my rims brand new and when I picked up my car it has a nice curb check on the back rim and I don't hit curbs just saying can't even drive car way it is now have to wait for friend to fix the real issue the motor mounts, I'd highly recommend doing research before coming here and getting nickle and dimmed

Whenever I take my vehicle to them Jeff and his team are very friendly. They take care of your vehicle with promptness and they’re very respectful of the inside of vehicles. I’ve been there for oil changes and brakes. They have always been great. I highly recommend them.
