These guys helped me with an unusual state inspection that no one else would do. Later on, they solved a weird electrical problem in my project car. They keep a clean shop and appear to have pretty good equipment. If you need ASE certified, I know they have some ASE certified guys here too. Thanks guys.

Best experience we have had so far at an auto shop. There was a great communication throughout the entire experience and they were up front about everything. They let us know the day before about how much the labor and part was going to cost, (high balled it) we did find a part $300 cheaper at a local parts shop, so we were able to bring it end, and get everything fixed and done under the time and amount. They also gave us recommendations based on mileage along with decent pricing. They did not push for us to get it done immediately. All in all a very good experience and we will be going back for any of our Automotive needs.

Danny did a fantastic job of advising me on what I needed for my 2014 Chrysler 300. I brought in my own brakes that I purchased from Autozone and they installed them with ease. I even got a great discount from them. I highly recommend. First class service. A+

I've been coming to Babcock Auto for a couple of years now. I thought I'd reviewed them in the past, but maybe not. So this is way over due. Daniel and his crew are very good at what they do, from general maintenance to major work. They've worked on two of my vehicles and I've been very satisfied. Professionalism & Knowledge- ✔️ (great at explaining) Courteous- ✔️ (with everyone) Pricing- ✔️ (competitive; one must keep up with gen maintenance to avoid costly repairs) Timing- ✔️ (depending on the job, waiting area is comfy, love the aquarium) Walk-Ins- ✔️ (Silver Ford SUV- road trip last week 😀)

Just want to say a very big thank you for a very big job done in so little time, had some rewiring and fan clutch and brand new battery put in within 4 hours. Price was definitely affordable and would recommend this company to anybody thanks again to Daniel and Jeff, ask for them.

This place is most importantly very trustworthy and reliable. Jeff helped me and explained how my brakes work and gave me some knowledge about vehicles that I didn’t know. Another shop made me think that something was wrong with my brakes so I went to Babcock Automotive for a second opinion. Jeff was completely honest and explained that my brakes were still good. I’m glad I got a second opinion at this place instead of jumping the gun and spending money I didn’t need to at the other shop who was just trying to take my money. Thank you Babcock Automotive! I will be returning for all of my auto needs!

Babcock Automotive is a first rate Auto repair shop. A clean shop speaks volumes about their work. Chad greeted me and gave me a favorable quote. The final price out the door was in line with the work performed and they were prompt. My 2007 Saturn was in by noon and out at closing time. Daniel, the owner, is a stand up guy and made sure I was happy. I would recommend them for all your auto repair needs. I’ll be going back for both of my vehicles.

My girlfriend and I just had both our cars services for Oil Change and Coolant for hot San Antonio summers. I recently took my Subaru Forester in to Babcock Automotive for a tire post and lug nut replacement, which they did. While I was waiting, I mentioned there might be a problem with my vehicle shock absorbers or struts because I sometimes hear squeky sounds when driving downtown. They suggested a test run and afterwards said the issue was probably some water on my brakes (I'm not a mechanic, so I don't recall the technical or specific part of the brakes), anyway, I was instructed to press a little harder on the brakes if/when I heard the noise again and the issue would eventually stop. I did hear the squeky noise again, and I did as instructed - the squeky noise stopped. As with my previous experiences with Babcock Automotive, I appreciate their sound advice but even more importantly, I appreciate their honestly and excellent work. They are my automotive service provider of choice and I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to work with a trustworthy auto mechanic shop!

This auto shop is awesome. Daniel the owner was patient and polite when I first called for service. Upon arrival with only 3 hours left to work til closing, his mechanics repaired my vehicle which was towed in and was not a small repair. I recommend this shop for their efficiency and and professional service. They also trouble shooted my vehicle for future problems that might arise. Very courteous and polite and cost effective as well. I will return as I found a new mechanic shop.

This place is a scam. Women beware!! They will take your money. Don't come here!! Don't be fooled by all these they are great stories. It's the worst automotive place I've been to since moving to San Antonio. Don't be fooled with those (CORRECTION $34.99) $19+ oil changes either. They will mess something else up so you can come back and will rake your eyes when you get the bill. If I can give them negative stars, I would. I'm so close to sitting in front of this place because I took it to another automotive place down the block, and they told me they didn't do anything!!! Update to their response, they do offer a $34.99 oil change in coupon mailers. I did due diligence and looked at reviews and should have looked at the negative reviews. Those are the true facts of this shop! Correct, coupon wasn't $19, it was around $34.99

Let's start with a little bit of context. My sister has three kids, and she herself has a medical condition that prohibits her from being out in the heat for too long and is clinically disabled, unable to drive. My parents and I do our best to care for them when they need help. Appointments, grocery runs, doctors visits, ect.. My car had been running without AC for the better of five years. And because of that, my ability to help my sister and her kids was limited, especially in the summer. I myself don't mind the heat, but in no way would I put them through that. Because of this, my parents tend to drive them where they need to go, but they're tired and I wanted to help more. So I came here. The gentleman here were honest, fair, and did everything they could to get my car in working order. They worked with me. I had been here before for other services, but I had enough of this heat, and they made it possible for me to drive around myself and my family. For that I'm grateful. If that wasn't enough, a week later my car had more problems. Alternator, battery. I didn't expect it and I even felt bad for throwing my car their way on such short notice. But they got it running again, even waited for me after hours. Im thankful to these guys for being honest, hard working, and reasonable individuals, I thank God I found em. And because of this I couldn't recommend them more.
