We were going from San Francisco to LV and our car break down because of starter issue. We towed our car at Bakerfield Auto Repair. They replaced car starter and charged $500 for it. After 6 months starter failed and need to replace again. I think they did not replaced started properly or very bad quality starter from Manufacturer. Good part is that they provided receipt and i am in process to get refund from Manufacturer.

Were willing to take me in for an emergency Oxygen sensor repair on a Friday before close. Absolutely best service I could have wished for, prices were entirely fair too. The work was quick, and they exceeded my expectations.

Jake and the guys at Bakersfield Auto Repair are my #1 go-to mechanics here in Bakersfield. I known Jake since we were both kids (15 years or more) back when my dad would do business with his dad when they were known as West Coast Tire. I have taken every vehicle i have owned as well as my parent's vehicles to them. They are honest, smart, and quick when it comes to all automotive issues and repairs. I would recommend them for everything from oil changes to tires as well as general automotive repair. Great prices and great service. Dropped my car off Tuesday afternoon for a diagnostic on the engine codes and also for some problems with unstable front wheels. Speaking on the phone with Christian the day before I was told the work wasn't going to take long, an hour or two to get it diagnosed and the same for the repairs. Sounds like something they could have knocked out by the end of the same day. Long story short it took 3.5 full business days after to tell me the problems. This was an easy job too they didn't have to deconstruct my car. I had to constantly continue to call them asking for updates. They never called me once even when sitting on a diagnosis. After telling me they probably cant get anything done on Saturday and I will have to wait for Monday for more of the same, I picked up my car without any work done and won't come back. Sadly to say you will save alot of money and even more time going with a larger business like Big O Tires or Rosedale automotive. It will also come with more transparency and accountability.
