Mr. Mike Barnhart has been doing quality and ethical work for me going on five years now. He was a referral of a friend, I have since myself referred three or four friends to him and they too have been pleased with his expertise and service ever since. You cannot find trustworthy, reliable and safe small business owning mechanics like Mike nowadays and I recommend him highly, completely and intelligently having worked on cars myself and having had dealerships and back yard mechanics and small shop mechanics alike do work....Mike is firm, fair and consistent and if he can't do it (on a RARE occasion) he will tell you as much or send you to whomever he knows that can. Just be sure to schedule in advance if you can as his work is in high demand and he has only himself to rely on to do the work--so if anyone out there is a decent, hard-working car mechanic and wants to work with a great boss to do what they love please call him to talk! You won't regret it!

Mike is an honest mechanic. He told me like it is with one of my cars. For the other, he was able to repair it quickly and let me know of a few things to watch out for in the future. It's a small shop, but he knows his $#!+ and will tell you bluntly what the issues are and how he can fix them within your budget.

Today Mike operated as St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers, when he analyzed the alarming rattling under my car and quickly repaired the heat shield when I was in the middle of my road trip from Cleveland to Illinois. Thanks to him I was back on the road with peace of mind.
