My husband needed tires on his truck, 1 lug was stripped/broken. He went to several Tire wheel rim repair shops NONE of them could get it off, one shop broke another one! Now there's 2, broken. We searched for 3 days. But I personally have dealt with Basic Auto Repair (the Dons) before, and Don F. has done work for me and my son for yesrs!..Let me tell you less than 4 hours..broken/stripped lugs were off, replaced and vehicle was picked up and on are way. These gentleman know what their doing. Pricing is reasonable, and they'll NEVER do anything to your vehicle without discussing it with you first. If they can't do it they won't! But I know they can and will 🙏🏽❤️

Had timing chain and tensioners replaced on my Jeep they were fast, courteous, and affordable. I highly recommend you need any work done to give these guys a call.. my Jeep runs like it's brand new..Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Let me start by saying that I had the pleasure of working with the owner, Donald. He was absolutely amazing and restored my faith in real mechanics. Short background... Mechanic #1 put rotors and pads on the back and pads on the front on my car and pads all around on my husbands car. All parts were bought new. Mechanic #2 discovered the pads on the front of both cars were "ok" but definitely not new. So Mechanic #1 stole 2 sets of pads!! I still had a knocking noise when braking. Mechanic #2 installed a tie rod end and sway bar, as well as the new pads that we had to buy again. Knocking still there. Mechanic #2 told me I needed a tie rod end and sway bar. I got those, he put the parts on, knocking 4çfff4 thethere. Then I was told to get a wheel hub assembly, bracket, and calipers. We bought those and Mechanic #2 couldn't come as scheduled. Luckily, my husband met Donald while buying the car parts. Again, let me say that Donald is amazing. He was able to see what Mechanics #1 and #2 had completed correctly and what they completely messed up! He was able to go behind #1 and #2 and fix what was messed up, he was also able to determine that some of the parts I bought was not needed. So I was able to take those back and get a refund. Donald was very thorough and noticed everything, down to a screw for drywall being used. Once everything was put back together, he noticed the brake pad wouldn't sit right. If he left it, I would have worked, I wouldn't have been able to tell. It would have just left a tiny groove. His work ethic and honesty wouldn't let him do it. He took everything back off and determined that the auto parts store sold us the wrong part. He then just used the original part because it was still a good part. Finally, everything was on and ready to test. Yay!!! The ride was smooth and the noise was gone! It didn't take a couple of days. I don't even think it took a couple of hours. Overall he did a great job. Like I said, He renewed my faith in real mechanics. Donald actually went above and beyond what we asked him to do. He is my forever mechanic! YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD MAKE HIM YOUR FOREVER MECHANIC TOO!!! I gotta mention as a bonus, I got to meet his wife. She was super nice, easy to talk to, and super cool! Thank you both for making my experience with your business so comfortable. You guys made it feel like we have known y'all forever. Side note: he did my car this past Sunday. We already have our other car over there for Donald to check it out and fix it!
