Called to see if they had an opening and then for price. The lady over the phone says Big John does not give prices over the phone and I said ok thank I do know what the issue is so ill just take call someone else and I even said thank you. The lady just hangs up on me! Must be big John’s wife! How rude lol. Well with that kind of service I wouldn’t even give them a thought for the future!

They won’t get any more of my money. The owner is extremely rude. They are so busy they don’t need your business and act accordingly with a little extra attitude. I drove in today, they walked right by walked out of the office didn’t give me the time of day. Maybe if they continue treating people this way, their business will suffer enough that their customer service will get better.

Talk about Honesty!! For a major oil leak on my Honda Pilot, John quoted me $611 after looking at the car in his garage. When the work was done and I went to pick up my car, to my surprise he said that cost of fixing the leak is only $258 including taxes, because after doing a proper clean up of the leaked oil, they realized that it was an easy fix and did not need to replace the valve cover gasket. Caliber Auto Care on Fry road had given me a quote of ~$1,500 to fix the oil leak! I would highly recommend John's Bear Creek Car Repair shop. I would not mind if I have to wait to get an appointment - This is the place to get honest and expert service!

Amazing. Mentioned the symptoms over the phone to John before taking my car in. He said he was 99% sure the problem was with my tire. Took my car to a tire shop and replaced my tire. Tire did not look bad on the exterior. But, All the symptoms went away after replacing my tire. John is very knowledgeable and was able to fix my car without even looking at it. I’m now interested in being trained by someone like him on the auto repair industry.

I've passed by Bear Creek Car Repair literally hundreds of times in the 24 years I've lived in my house and have never used them. That will change from here on out! If you're looking for a quality mechanic who you can trust use these gentleman here! John was nothing but professional, extremely friendly and helpful! He dealt with the issues I had with my car and fixed them at a fantastic price! I had taken my car to CSI Collision for some body work due to a minor accident. After the work was done I had some mechanical issues & took the car back. CSI Collision told me that I had major issues with my carrier bearing & driveshaft U-joints. They told me not to drive the car as it would cause additional damage & would make the car undrivable in the long run. My car sat in a driveway for almost 4 months due to the fact that I didn't have the cash needed to get the major repairs done. When I finally took it to John, he told me that none of the things that CSI told me were true and he was able to fix it for under $600! Thank you John for being so honest and for taking care of my vehicle. We will be back and I would recommend him & his shop to anyone looking for a quality mechanic who's trustworthy.

There are many reasons to bring your car here. The 2 that stand out the most is John's integrity and knowledge. His sons and rest of the staff hold Johns values as well! Do not bring your car here expecting it back in an hour as the wait is certainly worth it. My only issue is that it took me way too long to find John and staff and in a few short years will be a loyal raving fan for God willing many more years. Thank you, John and staff, for your good work and most of all your honesty. I hope and pray John doesn't retire until he is 120 years young!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE. We have been taking our cars/trucks/trailers to Bear Creek Car Repair since they opened their doors about 45 years ago. ALWAYS EXCELLENT SERVICE at VERY REASONABLE PRICES. 23 years ago we were looking for quality, dependable service for a fair price when we went to BCCRS and we still use this family business. Over the years they have repaired and maintained a variety of, old (15+ yrs) and new, cars and trucks. We've always been pleased with the results.

The only place in the area i will take my classic truck too. Hard to find mechanics who work on Carbs, etc. but dont expect to get your old toy back the next day. However when you get it back it will run better than it ever has before. From my experience!

Disclaimer: John Radisi (owner) is good friend of mine since scouting days. I have been taking mine and my son's car to Bear Creek Car Repair since I knew John. I have introduced few of my friends to John as well. Neither I or my friends have not had any issues or complains about any kind of service performed here. Occasionally, they are swamped with work, but I would rather wait than take my business somewhere else. People are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I would not trust anyone else with my car. Hands down the best Car Repair Service in Houston; I have called John from all over the south & he tells me what to do if I'm having a problem with my car. He runs a family business but treats all his customers like they are his family. They take pride in their work & are always there for their customers. Update - this team of folks over at bear Creek really do have your best interests in mind. Now all of my vehicle go nowhere else! Their pricing is extremely fair, their quality is superior to anywhere I've been in the past and they are up front honest and dependable.
