I tried getting my tires rotated at a different shop, not at a Belden’s Automotive and Tires location, and they told me that I ran the risk of breaking a stud if they tried. I found Belden’s Automotive and Tires on Yelp, specifically the Lockhill Selma location, and the reviews were great. I decided to bring my car here to see if they could help me out and possibly get me the parts I needed if it came to it. They took it back and rotated my tires with no problem! Thank goodness nothing was wrong, but if there was, I knew I’d be in good hands. All the employees greeted me when I walked in. The gentleman, Cameron, who talked to me at the front desk explained all the possible outcomes before they even looked at my car to ensure I knew what I could be in for. After the rotation was done, I came to the desk to pay my bill. They handed me my keys and said it was on the house! I went from being worried I wouldn’t have a car for the next few days to getting a complimentary service! I’m so grateful I found this location. I will definitely be returning, and I encourage everyone to stop by for all of your automotive needs as well!

During my recent repair service experience at Belden's Automotive, I was impresssed by the professionalism of the staff and the courtesy with which I was treated. All of my concerns were addressed promptly, and timing issues were resolved quickly. I will be returning for future service.

Personally, right off the back even as the working day was ending for Beldens Automotive, they still helped me with my situation and this was on a Saturday mind you. I never seen customer service like that in the 9yrs ive lived in San Antonio, since the 80s & 90s, they was very professional and helpful.... That's OLDSCHOOL GENTLEMAN 2 thumbs 👍 up...... I dropped my car off in the morning for an initial inspection/estimate of the repair needed. Got a call back later that morning and was driving my repaired car home by the afternoon. Great customer service with quality work!

Definitely recommend these guys if you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop. So far I’ve had my 2013 ford transit and my 2013 ford f150 ecoboost serviced here, no issues on the work performed and got me back on the road in no time! Raul and Cameron are a pleasure doing business with and the service techs are knowledgeable and tentative to detail. I’ve referred several family, friends and clients to Beldens and will continue to do so, keep up the great work fellas!

I'm really disappointed after my last visit here. I came in because my engine was hesitating. This started after someone forgot to put my gas cap back on and the check engine light came on. After replacing the gas cap, the engine hesitating didn't stop and the check engine light was still in. I explained this to them and after they performed a diagnostic, they told me I need $1500+ worth of repairs that included replacing my throttle body and a tune up to fix the problem. I asked them if this could have been the result of the gas cap being left off. They said no. At that point the dots didn't connect for me, so I paid the $167 diagnostic fee and picked my car up. The cause of my engine hesitating was the gas cap being left off. So I called my uncle that's a mechanic back in my hometown and broke everything down for him. He explained to me that it's likely the codes need to be cleared and the codes are what is making the car think there's an issue. After I had AutoZone give me a report, I sent him the codes and he said there's no way all those things are an issue and typically one issue is causing all those codes to trigger and probably after I replaced the cap the codes didn't clear. I had the codes clear and my engine is no longer hesitating. I reported this back to my uncle and he said I thought that was the issue...they tried to hustle you. Now I'm wondering if I really needed the compressor they replaced last year. Unfortunately now I consider them an untrustworthy business.

This is the third time I use beldens for something major. And it's the third time I came out a very satisfied customer. The first time was taken care of promptly and swiftly within 2 days, and the issue was resolved. The second time, I had to get the car towed to shop, and it was a starter issue, and they took care of it and replaced it in a very timely manner and I was back in my car within the same week. Recently Jan 2024 they had to replace my engine ! That's right, the engine ! And let me tell you, it runs so good and not a single issue, and if I may say it runs awesome ! Raul, Lee, and Cameron were awesome and kept me informed all the way, and I had my car back from drop off day to replacement of engine in 2 weeks. I can't thank you guys enough FOR YOUR HARD WORK, and if I could do 100 stars, I would. I will definitely keep coming here for future mechanical needs, and I would definitely recommend and refer people and anyone who needs the services of true trained mechanics 100% again, thank you guy's.

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN LOL *** UPDATE This here ladies and gents is 5 invoices, I’ve taken my vehicle to Belden’s back to back. This is my proof their mechanics are not knowledgeable about anything. Every time I’ve taken my vehicle to Belden’s a day later my check engine light comes back. $5000+ spent with these people and my car still don’t work. I’m not saying these guys are scammers but I personally feel scammed. *** These people call me and tell me to bring in my car because they “feel bad” about not fixing my car. But STILL going to charge me full price even though I gave them business for months. These guys are something else

Belden's isn't always the fastest or the cheapest. However, my car has 203,000 miles on it and is still on the road in part thanks to them (in part thanks to it being a Toyota). In San Antonio, there's no one else I trust with my vehicle...and I love my vehicle!

I recommend this mechanical workshop, they were always very attentive and their work very professional, they gave me a complete and very detailed diagnosis for my car. Mr. Raúl was very kind and all the time I was informed of the process of repairing my car, now my car runs very well.

Rainy day after work I got a flat tire, I was close to them and gave them a shot, they told me my new tire could not be patched; I went to a place I trust and got it fixed. Please don’t trust what they say and ask someone else before buying new tires.

There are only a few businesses where I think to myself what else do they offer for me to take advantage of. Cameron & Raul are some of the most trustworthy guys in an untrusting industry. I have done business with Beldens for over 7 years and every single interaction has been high class. This is the place to bring your car and leave behind any negative experiences you may have had prior. I have brought them all sorts of vehicles from a Caddy coupe to a Mazda Diesel SUV and they have handled all my issues. Awesome service and awesome care and I already dread the day I may have to move and start the impossible journey of finding another trustworthy mechanic. Thanks as always guys!

This is the best independent automotive shop in San Antonio. The service I received from Raul Reyna was the best. My SUV was fixed and handled with care. Raul was super attentive and his professional demeanor is above and beyond. In addition the lobby is meticulously clean and comfortable. Thank you!
