Horrible Experience! I ordered a tire online on Friday and set an appointment for Monday to have the tire installed on the rim. I received my order details in email and thought I was set. On Monday I took time away from work and drove thirty minutes to the shop. I arrived twenty minutes early for my appointment. Upon entering the building and making them aware of my arrival two men behind the counter seemed to be surprised. I am then told that one of the men "just responded" to my online order...from Friday. Twenty minutes before my appointment he responds. Curious who he responded to because I never received a response or a call or even accountability by anyone there. The excuse given was a cyber attack. IF this was true then why was I able to place an order online? Why was the website still taking orders? Why did no one contact me prior to my arrival? Were the phones hacked too? Horrible business and worse staff.

I was looking for someone I could trust to change out my rear wheel bearing. Someone affordable, preferably same day, and knowledgeable. I'd been to several other places gathering quotes and reading reviews and Dylan answered all my questions. The guys at Belhaven addressed the wheel bearing, got me back on the road safely in the same day. I was impressed, thankful, and happy to find a smaller shop that wasn't afraid of a little Subaru. I will definitely be back for all of my non dealer needs!!!! ❤️

This is the only shop in Charlotte that I will take my vehicle to. They are always friendly and professional. As quick as can be expected without sacrificing quality and very reasonable prices. See Tony at the front desk. He will take care of your vehicle.

Took my car to change a wheel bearing, replaced oil pan and regular maintenance when I got my car back I heard a noise coming from the the front of my car also when turning the steering wheel there is a noise also. Took it back trying to find out about these issues then they told me I have to replace the rack and pinion of which I had no issues when I took my car there. These guys are oil and tire change mechanics. They are incompetent and very dishonest. Stay away from Belhaven Tire and Auto.

Took my 2006 Odyssey there for a wheel alignment. I told them it was not steering correctly. Asked if they had driven the van afterwards and was told no by the person at the desk. After driving away I discovered the van was still not driving correctly, and my steering wheel was upside down.Called back to the shop and was told to drive further and see if it would get better. A person insisted the van had been driven after the alignment. Clearly it had not been driven.Took the van to another shop and was told there was no way the van could have been aligned properly due to the rack and pinion being broken. I called the shop and told them what the other shop had said. I was told to bring the car back and they would look at it. I was advised not to drive the car because doing so would cause more damage. I would have had to have the car towed.The shop refused to refund any money even though the alignment had not been done properly. Ended up paying good money for bad service .

I have been here a number of times. 1st time was when I had a serious issue with my car and overheating. I needed to have the radiator fixed along with some hoses. Everyone was so nice, caring and keep me informed of what was going on and cost. The prices were very good. Front service managers were great, especially Tony. Very helpful. I have been back for routine care and they always are able to get me in and out without much delay in my day at all !!!!! All the mechanics are knowledgeable and willing to explain what I might need and why. I would recommend Belhaven to ANYONE who needs any type of car care.

I just moved to this side of town and the day after my car wouldn’t start. I searched auto shops in my area and this one had some really great reviews so I decided to go with them. Mind you, as a single woman I’m always skeptical of car places because it’s known they try to get over on you. I called in the morning and spoke to Tony. Explained other things I needed to get done in addition to figuring out why my car won’t start. He was actually very friendly and professional. Upon arriving and checking in, he asked where my ride to take me back home was. I said I would be waiting there until it’s done. He laughed and said “you’re easy”. Not sure what that meant but okay. Throughout everything they were doing he was updating me and I appreciated that. Even asked me if I wanted to come into the shop to take a look and something they noticed that would need to be replaced in addition. Gave me a estimate for everything, as well as a discount. Awesome service so far. I was told my battery was bad which I had figured anyways. Leaving the shop and getting down the road, my car was making a clunking sound. I called and notified the shop and was told to bring it back. One of the guys who worked on my car showed me “why” it was making that noise and told me it wasn’t effecting the new tire or car as I drive. Told me it was something else that would need to be replaced. He said he told Tony this information. Yet it was never told to me. I drive away. A bit uneasy but still satisfied for the most part. That was on a Monday, 5 days ago, and today my car is not starting. I called the shop and asked to speak with Tony. When I tell him my name and mentioned being there a few days ago, he replies with a attitude and says “ok and?”. I say “ok well you told me the issue was my battery and replaced it but today the car is not starting. Was a diagnostic test done or was it just assumed it was my battery?” He laughs and when he asked me how long till the car was there, I stated the ETA showed up to 2 hours before the tow truck got to me, he laughed even harder and made sure I knew they will be closed through the weekend and Labor Day. I honestly am so disappointed.

I will never go to another auto mechanic after being with these guys. Literally the most wholesome bunch of guys that work here. The building/waiting area is so clean and neat. The bathrooms are accommodating and spotless. Immediately hopped on my vehicle and got back to almost new! They put they’re whole heart into helping you get what you need done. Won’t be going anywhere else and don’t want to.
