Bert and his workers are top-notch mechanics. Every time we go there and he fixes the issue, we never have a problem again. He has an honest and direct approach when talking about the issues with your cars, what can be done, and how long it could take. Honestly, his prices are worth the work he does. This is a great place to fix your automobile with a piece of mind that it will be done correctly the first time.

My family has been coming to Bert’s for over a decade. We just recently had our Van serviced there after our AC completely died and started blowing hot air. They diagnosed the problem and it was a simple fix and they didn’t even charge us. Finding an honest mechanic nowadays is so difficult which is why we’ll be sticking with Bert’s for life.

This long time staple of Tezel Rd, although quaint in stature, is nothing but the pinnacle of professionalism and skill. When I ran into an issue with my Audi, they took on the endeavor and delivered! Needless to say, they’re my one stop shop from here on out! If you need master technicians at an affordable price, this is your shop.

I'm very disappointed because I've referred this shop and I'm sorry I did so because if they did this to me, what are they doing to other customers. Called to purchase parts for my corvette. I found the same parts cheaper than the price they quoted. They wanted 575.00 that included $50.00/shipping in 5-7 days! I paid 252.12 including shipping and handling with a 4 day shipment. Parts arrived expediently, and in perfect condition.

If you want your vehicle done quickly and correctly, DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP. After holding my vehicle for a week, and having to call them daily for any updates, they still could not give me a straight answer. Ricky - a technician - consistently cut me off over the phone and offered little to no assistance. The 2 components he mentioned that could potentially be the problem, were both incorrect. After calling and getting no help, I requested they release my car back to me. The work order explicitly said "Hours worked: 1.000" (meaning they likely pulled it around and threw it on a lift to call it an hour of work.) When I took it to another mechanic, he had the problem fixed in less than a day. The car runs and drives great, with only a simple fix. I'll gladly skip on their ridiculous pricing, lackluster technicians, communication, and customer service any day. I recommend you do the same.

Not run by good people. I don’t recommend anybody trust this shop with their vehicle. I hate to be the guy who posts this type of review but feel honor bound to do it in the interest of protecting potential victims from these jerks. I came by to see about getting them to use their scanner to turn off an errant airbag light (happens w low battery) on the dash of my 2008 911s and they had no interest in helping me, scheduling the work, or being decent human beings generally. They were rude, and basically told me to go away. I talked to 2 older guys in the office whose shirts were clean so I can only assume they were management…maybe one was “Bert”. When it was clear they had no interest in doing the work I needed, I foolishly asked if they knew another shop that might have a Porsche scanner - NOPE. These dudes were just rude as hell and seemed to resent me for some odd reason??? Definitely not a good experience - DO NOT RECCOMEND

Took a 2009 Chevy Aveo in for a diagnostic check to see if it was worth buying. They said for a bit over $200 they could check the engine. They first say the vehicle needed ~$1400 to correct all problems. I agreed to pay that and bought the car from the seller. Then I started getting call's saying now it needed another $1000. Then another few hundred. Final price was more than 2 times the original price. Total was $3700. Was told not to worry about the check engine light. If I was willing to spend another $300 - $400, then that problem could be addressed but the car was way more reliable. The mechanic actually told me the car was not drivable when he started. I asked, then how did I drive it up here? Also, the car broke down on the way home when I stopped for gas. I had to get a jump start. When I called the shop, they said they do not offer 'mobile service'. It didn't break down getting to the shop, just leaving. They are total scam artists. Never trust their first price. Always double or triple the first price they tell you here. I will never come back.

We've used Bert's for about 2 years now. The pricing is fair and the Company is wonderful. Burt and Cary are always helpful and informative. As long as they are open, we won't be going anywhere else.

Horrible Experience, Bert use to be a good wholesome guy, today is very much different. Customer service is more about servicing the Mechanic shop and its lead mechanic Kerry's Pockets. Took my car to have a hood latch fixed. Almost $3,000.00 later car is still undrivable due to functional parts being broken or Maliciously altered to spike the bill up. I own a Business and we pride our self when it comes to our clients, we don't gauge or poke there eyes out for service. I have never written a review before but this must stop. People work hard for what they have and its a shame how this place is running. Asked to address the problem with Bert and was denied. This place will bleed you dry if they can
