Jim is a great guy who tells you exactly what he’s doing and prices everything fairly and competitively. I fix some stuff on my truck myself but when I need a pro, I’m going to bring it to Jim every time.

As the name says Best Auto is excellent at fixing your car. I have had them work on my Hondas & my Volvos throughout the years. Honest, trustworthy, reliable & reasonable charges for their work. They will do what needs to be done & will not do what doesn't need it. Yes I reccommend them.

I have taken my vehicle, a 2004 Acura, here for several years. I always feel comfortable that I have received professional and friendly service at a reasonable price. When an intermittent issue cropped up with my vehicle, the owner took the time to thoroughly explain the possible diagnoses to allow me to make an informed decision.

We were from out of town. Trusted Mr. Lee to help us. He was totally focused on our problem and gave us options for repair within a few days. The old Toyota had a bad computer. He allowed us to keep the car there until we could find a tow truck to haul it for donation. We would definitely recommend him to others!

Beware!! I took my vehicle this place Friday, before taking to them i called them and asked is there any possibility to fix it same day, and i got confirmation for that request, and drove there! Everything changed dramatically right after i went there First of all, my vehicle has oil pump issue, which means there is a possibility of engine blow. ANd this is confirmed by these people. Anyway, right after i got there, person told me he can not fix it that day, EVEN WITHOUT checking the car. That was no suprise, since when you reach you will see, there is 15-20 cars waiting around, and even in 5m of wait, i heard owner told 2 different person on the phone that their car will be ready next week. SO the game is simple, getting car and making people stuck with them. Second thing, because of the severe situation, i was ok to leave the car, and asked at least they can tell me what the issue is. HERE WE GO! THE person tried to charge me 150$ for diagnose and he said he will KEEP IT even i am ok to fix my vehicle there! SO basically, he is charging, diagnose, labor and parts! And this is why? Because he knows that i know my car can blow and i can not risk it!!!! Terrible! Literally terrible service, Lied, and tried to take advantage of my car situation! I am skipping the part they called me right after i told them that i will give them a review! Make a favor and skip them, Terrible!

Jim is trustworthy and is very detailed with his explanation. The rest of them mechanics are snake oil salesmen who tell you your vehicle has something cancerous while truthfully it only has a cold.

My work truck broke down on my way to a job in SF and I was freaking out because I live 50+ miles away. I was debating whether or not to try and get it towed home when I found this shop only a couple blocks away. I limped in and the owner ran a diagnostic and said he could get the parts in a couple hours. They where very honest and reasonably-priced and got me back on the road in time for dinner. I feel truly blessed to have broken down where I did cause these guys are amazing. It's a small shop so be patient but they will definitely take good care of you.

Reasonable, honest and easy. I've had the oil changed and a smog check. It's nice to have Balboa park nearby to take the kids out while the car is serviced. Everyone wears masks and the door stays open.

Did a smog check at this shop. Owner was pretty helpful and helped me schedule a time to come in even though he doesn't take appointments. The smog check was done using the Obd port in my car so fairly easy to do. The onboard sensors report the emissions to the computer through that port basically. He was a bit slow overall which is why I only gave 4 stars.

It's ok. Not cheap. At least they did not try to fix stuff that is not broken and charge it to me. Always ask 4 a second opinion when trying to fix your vehicle. Finding a good mechanic these days is very difficult
