If you want the best, you found it. Jose and team put quality first, down to every last detail. I brought my rav4 to them 5 times in the last 4 years and every time they made it look brand new. These guys are true experts.

Best detail truly went above and beyond to help my wife and I deal with a leak that caused the entire interior to become damp and mildew ridden. They were so effective with her car that I will certainly be booking to take my car in soon. They sent pictures of the process, explained everything so thoroughly and were super responsive to any extra needs or questions we had.

I LOVE THIS PLACE and the reason why is the customer service and the fantastic job they did on my car. I had a cat's mess of fluids in my car from a trip to the vet and needed those messes cleaned up on short notice. Jose worked with me to find the best service for me and the price was right for me too. I love Jose and he honestly does remind me of my own dad who also runs a small business. Jose made sure my car was not only done but done right. I will be back for any more messes my car needs cleaned and any auto detailing. Support one of our Oakland community businesses by coming here. You won't regret it.

I completely forgot to write a review but I remembered out of the blue today. This place is PHENOMENAL after my dog had multiple accidents in my back seat I was worried I would have to replace the seats to clean it for good. The team at best detail kept my car over night and cleaned it with a deep treatment over the summer which completely removed the smell. The people who work there were really friendly and rinsed me of my own family. The experience was worth every penny and I definitely can see myself coming back there after this winter.

If you are looking for that hole-in-the-wall place that knows car detailing it's Best Detail! All my cars have been maintained by Best Details for over 20 years now. Will never go anywhere else. My cars always come out looking better than the day I drove them off the dealer's lot.

Jose and his team are amazing!! I've taken my car here twice and my car came out looking brand new both times. They did the full exterior and tree sap removal services for a reasonable price. They have wonderful customer service and great communication. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Jose was incredibly helpful, explaining the pricing and services clearly, and taking extra time to buff out some sap spots for no extra charge. Our car looked amazing afterward. Just make sure to book out in advance for wax, he is busy!

Brought in my 2000 Miata which was looking very dull in patches. Wasn't sure what could be done (I had tried a bit of clay bar work myself) and was really impressed with the results. They really brought back the shine. Beyond that, they clearly cared about me as a customer and the car, explained clearly what could and couldn't be done, quoted a reasonable price, did the work in less than half a day, AND dropped the car off at the mechanic next door for me for some unrelated work. Would recommend to anyone looking to bring their car exterior back to life

I brought my car in to get detailed inside and out. I had some stains on my seat and middle console, years of dust and dirt, and plenty of dog hair. When I picked my car up, it looked brand new; no signs of any stains, dust, wear, tear, or dog hair. Best Detail did an excellent job cleaning my car and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Jose was also excellent at coordinating drop off and pickup and it was reasonably priced with no hidden fees. Again, couldn't recommend them enough!

I had a fantastic experience getting the interior of my RAV4 detailed here. Jose was professional and courteous at each step of the way, and my car came back looking great. Jose and his team did an amazing job on the interior detailing of my car, I can't recommend them highly enough. The inside of my 18-year old car looks (and smells!) and brand new. The guys are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I will definitely be bringing my car back to them again!

Jose and his team hella good! Best full interior/exterior I've ever had, and at competitive pricing. I'll be coming here for my annual summer detailing from now on. Best Detail washed and dried the carpet, buffed out any scratches they found, and since I brought a paint pen I bought from the dealership they were even able to touch up all the rock chips on my front bumper. Their work brought out whole new level of shine & color, my baby literally looks like I just drove her off the showroom floor. Definitely living up to their name, this shop is a cut above all of the full detail jobs I've paid the same price for in the past.

i knew from the start that Best Detail is a well run business. jose's prompt and clear communication when making the initial appointment is not to be overlooked. the day i brought my car in, chatting with jose was like catching up with an long lost friend. my 19 year old black car had swirls throughout. after jose and his colleague was done with the car, the paint literally sparkles. after that experience, i took my weekend car in and magic was performed once again. jose earned my continued business! jose takes pride in his work and in his long established business. if you need your car cared for, take it to Best Detail.

If I could leave 10 stars, I would! They are hands down the most detailed, thorough crew I've ever found. Honestly, it's such a great value for the money. I've brought four different difficult cars/vans to them and each one has come back looking like new. I highly recommend them as a repeat customer myself. Don't waste your time looking else where, go with the BEST!

Jose and his team did an incredible job on our full detail and headlight restoration! I was so impressed by their attention to detail and care. Unlike previous detail services I've used in the past, their standard exterior detail includes a buff, clay bar, wax, polish, and protectant. Jose, the owner, was friendly, professional, and patient with all of my questions regarding the service. Highly recommend Best Detail for their amazing detail service!

Jose was so nice and attentive to my needs! He treated my car with excellent care and exceeded my expectations. A camping trip had filled the car with dirt, sand and rocks but when I picked it up I barely recognized it!! Cleaner than when I bought it with no nook or cranny overlooked.

Two weeks later, friends and strangers are still complimenting my car because it looks that good. It already looked good, dirty but cute. But now, it's amazing. Best Detail really is the best detailing place. The owner has years of experience detailing cars in Oakland and Best Detail is independent and minority-owned by a long-time community member. Super professional, great work and a really convenient location (close to BART, Lake Merritt and all of Uptown and Whole Foods).

I had recently taken my BMW X3 on a road trip up to northern Idaho and back, and it was in need of some TLC. After doing some research online, I came across Best Detail and decided to try them out given that they had good reviews online and were within walking distance from where I lived. Jose definitely did not disappoint. I was literally embarassed to drop off the car because it was so dirty, and when I got it back, it basically looked brand new. Jose was super friendly, professional and great at communicating as he worked on your car -- and he even finished ahead of schedule on mine. After driving it around for a few days, I tried to find spots that were missed or maybe needed a touch-up, but I was not able to find one. I will use Jose and Best Detail again. However I must warn you, the saddest part about the service is the fact that you'll have to drive your car and get it dirty again!

I have a classic car, and am very, very picky about who I bring her to. I was at my upholstery shop down the street and was commenting to them about how desperately I needed to get the roof of my car buffed and smoothed out...Years of living next to BART and the freeway and the Port have taken their toll, though I do keep her covered and maintained the first year or two I had her I did not and subsequently the roof became too far gone and hard for me to deal with. my upholstery shop highly recommended Jose and Best Detail so I drove right over and talked to him. I got a quote and made an appointment and 2 weeks later brought her back in. when I arrived later that day to pick her up I literally almost started crying. the roof was so smooth and clean it was in better shape than when I got the car 18 years ago! I am so happy and I can't thank Jose enough for taking care of my baby. I highly recommend this shop for any of your detailing needs!
