Fernando helped me out with my vehicle the other day when I came in for a flat repair, he made me aware that all 4 of my tires were bald! He ordered some tires that day and got them in same day! 10/10 service and 10/10 tires!

Super helpful! Even when I was waiting a nice gentleman landed me a phone charger for my phone so I didn't have to go phoneless! They go above and beyond to help and take their time to make sure nothing is wrong. I've lived in so many states its rare to find honest mechanics that help me! Will be back for any other car troubles!

Came in at 5:20pm said they could get tires put on my truck and they did about 715pm we were leaving they “closed” at 6. Drove to quick trip for a drink checked all the wheels again make sure the lugs were on and tire pressure was good to find out they left massive gouges in 2 of my wheels and scratches in all of them. They came out checked the tires and wheels before hand said it wasn’t going to be an issue. When I was waiting on them to do the work on tech came inside looked around and looked like something was wrong. Even told my friend that was with me I’m going outside that guy looked guilty like something happened. Came out there half my trucks on the lift other half isn’t. Then they quit working on my truck while I was there so I walked off and let them be. Just to find later what was going on. Headed in there when I get off work to see what they say. I’ll post again what the outcome is.

Fantastic experience at Big O Tires! The staff there is really cool. I needed an odometer reading for transferring my plates from out of state, and the guy who helped me was incredibly quick on the uptake. He understood exactly what I needed right away, which made the whole process super smooth. It's refreshing to deal with someone who knows their stuff, especially when you're handling something potentially complicated like out-of-state transfers. Their efficiency and expertise definitely left a positive impression on me. If you need any tire-related services or vehicle readings, I'd recommend giving this Big O Tires a shot.

I had a flat tire because of a nail and had been driving to work in all these snow storms and crappy road conditions. I had to work as a nurse that night and Big O’ Tires got my car in and done within hours of me calling even though they were really busy. Fernando Salazar is the best!!

Everything was cool until my car started shaking checked tired pressure on new tire and it only had 32 psi when the others had 62psi.. how the he'll u sell me a tire and don't put the right pressure In the tire

Had new tires installed here. It took 2.5 hours to install the tires and receive the complimentary alignment check. I wasn't too thrilled about the time it took, though lots of people came in after me so they were busy. Many of those people ended up leaving before me, but I suspect they might have had simpler things than a tire installation (not sure). My brother indicated two of the tires are installed improperly, as according to him the born on date should be facing the outside. I'm not sure if that's right, but two have the born on date facing away from the vehicle, and two have it facing inward. The new tires were manufactured the 36th week of 2023, making them about 470 days old at installation. This is close to the borderline of the maximum for what online sources say new tires should be, as rubber starts deteriorating immediately whether in use or not and it's unsafe to continue to drive after 5-6 years according to the NHTSA. There aren't laws around how old a new tire can sit on shelves for, so it's important that customers be informed and aware of this. The price was reasonable, a bit cheaper than other tire stores nearby, and the store representatives were nice to deal with, keeping their cool even when the store was busy. All in all, some of these things are probably beyond their control, I would rate it slightly below average (primarily for the time waiting).

I had sent my mom to Big O because I had a coupon for her to get $25 off of 2 tires. They tried to charge her for an alignment they didn't do, thankfully I was there to get that taken off. Then they presented her with $3,400 worth of repairs they said she needed (not sure why they checked all that when she asked for 2 tires). She took the car to the Toyota dealership to get their opinion and they said all of the repairs were bogus, nothing needed to be done, only one thing might need to be looked at in a year or so. Beware of this place.

Just bought our second set of four Firestones from Big O. Ray did great and his service was excellent. Came back today for an inspection, and when Ezekiel let me know my truck had failed I was presented with a $1400 bill to replace the rear leaf springs. Labor was $300 meaning they were charging me $1100 for $350 worth of parts ( dual rear leaf spring kit and u bolt assembly totals about $350). I understand the business is out to make money so I said no and waited for my truck. This is what pissed me off; watching the "inspection person" haul ass down the alley, in my grandpa's 25 year old pick-up with 190k miles to bring it back to the front. Techs should have more respect for customers vehicles, rather than treating it like the Ferrari from Ferris Bueler. Probably won't be back to this location.

So here’s what happened. I hit a pothole and it ripped a huge gash in my run flat tire. I drove it over to Big O and it turns out that it’s an extremely expensive tire and it’s a special order size as well. I’m telling you that those folks did everything they could to get me that tire as fast as possible and get me the best deal they could on it. I really felt like they were on my team and that’s not something you find a lot anymore. I’m coming back when I need the rest of my tires replaced. I recommend Big O Tires

I'd been a Big O Tires customer for nearly 20 years, and I had always trusted them to take care of my tire needs. Unfortunately, my experience with the Skyview Ave location in Kansas City, MO, ended that long-standing relationship and has caused me to take my business elsewhere. A large piece of debris on the highway damaged a tire on my Subaru. Since it's an all-wheel-drive vehicle, I needed to replace all four tires. The following day, I contacted the store and spoke to Jacob (or Jake), who was extremely helpful despite being stuck as the only one working the front desk. He patiently helped me narrow down tire options based on my driving habits. We settled on a Cooper tire, but I needed to call back to confirm the exact size and schedule an appointment. Everything was going smoothly--until I called back and spoke with someone who identified himself as the "service manager." Unfortunately, he seemed more interested in reminding me of his title multiple times than actually helping me. He was condescending throughout the conversation, repeatedly calling me "pardner" in a tone that felt disrespectful. Worse, the prices he quoted were significantly higher than what Jacob and I had discussed and agreed upon. It was clear that the "service manager" wasn't tracking, so I asked to have Jacob call me back to clarify the tire options. Mr. Pardner refused and insisted that I deal with him. "Jacob answers to me, not the other way around!" (Yikes! Poor Jacob!) Mr. Pardner's dismissive attitude and refusal to address my concerns pushed me to end my 20-year stretch of doing business with Big O. Later that day, I found another tire shop that was respectful, helpful, and patient. They earned my $700 of my business that day and another $1200 for a set of 4 tires for my Toyota SUV a few days later. I won't be returning to Big O Tires. I understand my purchases might be a small part of Big O's bottom line, but after 20 years of loyalty, I expected better service. Jacob was great, but the service manager's attitude made it clear that my business wasn't valued. I hope Big O focuses on hiring more people like Jacob and fewer like the manager I dealt with.

Horrible, stripped my oil plug bolt when they changed my oil, didn’t tell me, and used the same plug. When I went to change it again it took me hours to get it off. Don’t recommend

This review is related to a same-day review of a Big O Tires store in Columbia, MO. After receiving a new tire at 8:40 a.m. on 8/9/24, I drove home, then to KC without issue. About 11:20 a.m., the low pressure indicator light came on. Around 1:45 p.m., I visited this Big O Tires store, described my previous visit and handed off the related paperwork and receipt for my tire replacement at the previous store. Within 15 minutes, it was determined the sensor needed to be reset and all tire pressures were checked and appropriate for my vehicle. Shannon is the Big O Tires representative who demonstrated what excellent customer service is. He and others in this store were respectful, patient, attentive, and professional in every possible manner. This wasn't a "what I expected" experience. They proved great customer service isn't dead and the little things matter. Big O Tires had two wins about 6 hours and 140 miles apart, on the same day, with the same customer. I'm very happy.

they put tires on my vehicle that were not recommended due to a load/range index. I called the store to resolve the issue and get new tires on. I have never spoken to a manager more argumentative than Travis. He just talked over me the whole time and never took accountability for his mistake. He continuously tried to say I was just getting this notice from their website because of the speed rating, not the load index. He kept trying to say the number I am referring to is the speed, when the speed ratings on tires are a letter not a number but a letter. Not sure how this guy is a manager. Instead of solving the issue same day, he made me wait four days to get the issue resolved while he was the one who put tires with a safety hazard on my vehicle. They did get new tires in, but they still owe me money on my refund. The price of the refund changed several times during my conversations with them. The first refund price I requested be sent in email, but I am not sure the manager understands how to email because he does not understand anything about tires. Still waiting for more money to be refunded. Very frustrating. If you have a SUV and bought tires from here, double check them as he advised he puts these tires on all SUV and the specs are not recommended. And don’t worry about the response they give you on here, you won’t actually talk to anyone at this store who can do their job correctly. I filed a complaint with corporate but no response from anyone.
