Man, When I tell you that they literally saved me that day..I mean it! Both of my front tires split on the freeway pretty close by and I was in a pickle. I got my car towed to WalMart across the way just for them to refuse me and get yelled at because I didn't know what kind of tires I needed. I mean look..I'm just a girl, okay! Anyways from WalMart, my bestie and I tried Sams Club since we were already in that parking lot just for them to tell me they also didn't have the tires that I needed. So, I'm like what do I do now? I Google "tires" and guess who shows up? Big O Tires, duh! I called and immediately went over there. I explained my situation and they took care of everything immediately. I went to get food and yap with my bestie at the Carl's Jr. in the same plaza and by the time we got back they were done! Thank you, Big O Tires!!

Finally decided to leave this review. I am being nice and giving 3 stars, and only because of their tire program being pretty good. So far, they seem to do a good job with with the tires and deserve recognition for that. Now...the rest. I started getting my oil changes and other mechanical needs fixed here at this Big O because the tire experience was good and I had moved away from the Mechanic I used in the past. Back in Feb/Mar they did an Oil change for me. The mechanic was not competent enough to put a filter on properly, and I ended up stranded at 1am in Barstow in some sketch 24/7 mechanics shop, and ended up having to drive quite a few miles with no oil and who knows what damage that might have done. I dealt with that situation with them directly, and they made it right. For that more credit to them, as a store. Hence 3 stars. Well...fast forward to last July for my next oil change. They did it. AGAIN. Luckily I was in a location that I was able to handle it and fix it myself when I discovered their mistake. I MIGHT do tires here again...maybe. But they will not get a wrench within a mile of my cars motor, ever again. Two times cant even get an oil change right? Really?! Thats getting to levels of just pure unadulterated incompetence not just a few random mistakes...

Update from previous review from Friday Sept 13th. Today is Sept 18 (wed) and after returning Sept 17th (Tues)was told new alternator that was put in was not good…. They said they would replace it under warranty and that they would call when part was received. I never received a call and after following up this morning I was told part hadn’t arrived. Followed up 3 hours later and was told part came in but was returned because bad alternator needed to be returned before leaving (good) alternator. I never received a call explaining the situation. I returned with my vehicle hoping that this does not turn into an all day affair- after previous days with water pump, battery and serpentine belt taking days to replace due to (parts issues). My vehicle is a Bronco sport 2021- yeah only 3 years old! I just want my ‘battery alert light/ due service’ to stop showing on my dash. This has been an on going issue since Sept 6!!!! I’m tired of looking at and being in this repair shop! I’m tired of being held hostage due to not being a mechanic or being rich….. I would give a poorer rating but I’m chalking a lot of this up to poor communication and I’m doing my damnest to give them the benefit of the doubt due to my previous history with coming here as well as the mechanic ‘Junior’ who has worked his tail off to resolve this issue….

I hate getting flats while not near home. I was alone and not about to do it myself, but I was lucky, I saw a Big O Tires near where I was. I had not used them before, but I was desperate. They were so nice. I had picked up a nail. They did not need to replace my tire nor did they try to convince me to do anything I did not need done. They simply fixed my tire. The price was super reasonable. Now it did take a minute because I was without a reservation and they had other customers, but the staff was so nice I did not care. They had a nice waiting area and that place, for a tire shop is clean. I was very happy. I am now a fan of Big O Tires.

So earlier this year I had bought 2 new tires from the Big O Tires shop located on Maryland and Desert Inn and over the weekend I got a nail in my tire. Now when I bought the tires it came with a 3 year warranty for tire replacement should anything happen to my tires. And now that I'm finally having the chance to fix my tire. I'm being told that the replacement is free however to get the tire changed or even reinstalled is going to cost me $73. Next time I'll just pay more money for a tire and get a warranty and free installation from Discount Tires. Because that's where my mom and younger brother get their tires from and that's what they do for them. And then not to mention that when I spoke with the employee yesterday about setting up to get my tire fixed she told me it would cost $30. Why am I now having to pay almost 2.5 times that amount? To get this one tire replaced is costing me half of what I paid for the tire in the first place

We t rheir to fulfill the 1 yr warranty i got for an alignment and balance and was dtop mid repair for an icnident at a previous store the day prior where they did not complete the work and i left with a check engine light and codes poppong for my engine being told a district manager told them to quit qorking on my car cause idk why cause im filing a complaint woth corporate onlinw for a different store and i didn not get anger or lose my temper today so now i paid 175 dollars for nothing a service that didnt get completed and a warranty they refuse to fuflfill

When it rains it pours. I had to go to big O tires three different times in one week for three separate issues. Each time, Jim and his team did an excellent job of helping me to feel welcomed and at ease. You can’t ask for much more than that from a tire shop. Visit Jim and his team at big O with confidence. Adding to my review (a few weeks later)—we realized we needed two tires in short order before my son left for college. Khrys (new manager) and Takiyah were so accommodating in getting us onto tires we were comfortable sending our kid to college with. The whole thing was done so quickly and we appreciate them. New management, same great customer service. We’ll be back!

Just had 4 new tires put on our fleet van. The team over at this location were great to work with (managers name was Jim I think). The team over at 7145 S Rainbow got the job done right by the time they promised.

Today I went to get all 4 tire pressure sensors replaced and reprogrammed. I was helped by the manager, Jim. Although, I was waiting there for a long while due to some technical difficulties, I greatly appreciate Jim’s customer service. He was able to offer me a discount on my service and a free oil change for next time, for the long wait. I will most definitely be back! 👍

I called Big O Tires to replace 2 back tires on our 2017 Chevrolet Express conversion van. They were very behind schedule due to the upcoming 4th of July weekend, but I was just grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. They did excellent work.

Overall a good experience. Jim was very helpful and friendly. Only downside was having to come back when my tires came in stock. And I don’t think my fluids were filled when the oil change was done.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this a 2 star was because of the guy who helped me when I dropped off my car, I believe his name started with a K. He was helpful. However! I am sad to say I will not be returning to Big O Tires after this experience with the store manager (he was the man with white hair, I forgot his name) it’s sad because I loved Big O Tires and pretty much only brought my car here & recommended so many people to the one I use to go to… this location on 7145 Rainbow is a different story. I dropped my car off to have it checked because I believed I needed my front brakes done. I get a call about an hour or so later and the guy who I spoke to on the phone said “Yeah so you definitely need all new brakes” I just got my back breaks done in September 2023 at a Big O Tires in California. So when I told him this, he said oh let me go check, he comes back and says that they accidentally clicked the wrong box. So I let it go and ask how much for my front brakes and when they told me $555.just to replace my front brakes (I have a 2018 Honda accord), my jaw hit the floor. I have my paperwork from a different franchise location. And it was much less. I definitely understand that prices have gone up and that this is a franchise and they have different prices. I am willing to let that go, but it’s definitely frustrating and it felt like I was being taken advantage of. At no point did I raise my voice With the store manager when I told him “if I wouldn’t Have mentioned that I just got my back brakes done. You guys would’ve charged me to do them if I said, go ahead and do it.” This is when the Store manager gets snippy with me and says “ oh no we don’t do that, we wouldn’t have charged you if you didn’t need them done” And I said OK and was a bit frustrated and kind of didn’t believe him but it is what it is. Maybe it truly was an accident or MAYBE IT WASN’T… So I looked at him and said “I kind of feel like you guys were taking advantage of … “ & he interrupts me at this point.. This realllly must have upset him or something cuz he raises his voice slightly, his tone changed and cuts me off mid sentence and goes “ nope nope no, I’m not gonna hear this, this is where I’m ending the conversation” So I said okay, and walked out and told him to stop scamming people. In all honesty, if when I voiced my concern, he used professionalism to have a conversation with me Instead of being snippy and talking down to me and making me feel very embarrassed in front of other people in the room, Then maybe I would’ve still considered getting my brakes done there because it would’ve shown that your store manager actually cares when a woman has a concern about being taken advantage of after being told I needed something when I didn’t (mistake or not, put yourself in my shoes) This actually forces me to believe that he truly was doing something wrong because it doesn’t make sense for him to have gotten that mad if they truly didn’t mean to make that mistake… I will not be returning to Big O Tires.

Took my car in on a Sunday to have a nail taken out and patched up. Was told it would take 30 minutes max. 3 hours later it’s still not done! My car was parked at the front and sitting there finished. No workers came and told me it was finished it took me to see it parked at front to ask it is done which it was. I’m a Lyft/Uber driver I would expect the standards to be good if you want my repeat and frequent business, you won’t be getting it again.

Came in for an oil appointment and waited 2 hours. My car was still in the parking lot waiting for a bay to open. I asked the person behind the counter for an ETA and they said maybe another 45mns. That has to be the longest I’ve ever waited for an oil change in my life. Who has 4 hours to get a 30mn job done? Making an appointment is useless. I was told they cannot deny an appointment request online. Someone could have called me and told me they were backed up…. Waste of time. Took my keys and left. Ive been getting oil changes here for years, but I guess it’s time to move on.

I came in on a Friday morning with a slow leak on one tire. The customer service was great, and they were able to get me taken care of within 2 hours. As a female, I felt comfortable that I wasn't being taken advantage of, and appreciated the honesty and fair pricing the representative gave me. Unfortunately they weren't able to repair the tire due to it being over 5 years old, but they got me set up with 2 new tires at a reasonable rate. ($325 out the door including a warranty)

I came in to get a new tire when my tire got slashed and flat and was told it was a 2 hour wait and to try another store. I asked them if they had time to put the spare tire real quick but I was denied due to “lack of technicians” and left I to find someone who can help me. After THEY saw my tire, they decided to help me put it on. Won’t go back.

I was overdue for an oil change, and I just happened to see Big O one day while I was in the drive-thru line at Cane's. So I went online and booked an appointment for that weekend, and I received a confirmation shortly after. I have to admit that the service I received from this location was top notch! I had some issues with the flimsy stock Toyota oil filter housing cap, but Brett, Veronica, Dujuan, and Alexander took amazing care of me and my car. They really went out of their way to make sure that my car was operating properly and safely, and they accommodated my tight schedule. The best part is they all did it with a smile, despite how super busy they were! I'm definitely returning here in the future for all my maintenance needs, and I even got my husband to make an appointment for his next oil change, too. Thanks again for the stellar service!

The AC in my car was not working properly so I had it tested and diagnosed here for $200 (with a promotional coupon). This shop said my condenser was leaking and needed to be replaced. They quoted me $3,000 to fix it. In disbelief I went to Asian Imports right down the road, they charged $80 to test and diagnose and found no leaks. All that needed to be done was an AC evac and recharge, which was only $280. My AC works perfectly fine and blows cold now. I would give 0 stars if I could for dishonesty. I have come to this shop for tire jobs and haven’t had any problems but I wouldn’t come here to get anything outside of a tire change/wheel balance.

The mechanics were skill from a to z. Very authentic mechanics and knew what they're doing. They make every car run like a work of art. Very fast service took around 45 minutes to get 4 new tires and a alignment done on my car. Came in after work and was back on the road quickly these tires are awesome I picked out the sumitomo tires and really love them so far. Recommend

The technician Mark Aponte was amazing from the moment I pulled up and asked for help with replacing two tires and getting an alignment. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to show me the actual work I needed done in detail without any pressure to buy or get any services. The work was done in a timely manner and I received great communication throughout the entire process.
