I showed up at 9:08 to get a tire patched for a nail in my tire. I waited until 11:00 and was told i have to wait another 45 minutes because they are taking cars in the order they came. I was the 2 person in the store, for them to open at 9:00…. I will not be there for business ever again.

Appointment at 12. Truck hasn't moved the original parking spot after 2 hours update! 4.5 hours after the appt time they called with their recommendations...oil change wasn't done in 4.5 hours. If you know you can't get to the oil change in a timely manner because you didn't put enough staff on for the day communicate with the customers People don't have time to wait 5 hours for an oil change on a Saturday. Do better!

Don’t make an appointment for a tire repair online. I made one for noon, when I called at 9:30 to ask a question they said they are going to cancel the appointment because they don’t do appointments for tire repairs.

Good price and deal overall, just never listen to their timing… 10 minutes means more like an hour. Stayed for my appointment at 4 didn’t leave shop until 630. Four new tires.

I’m sorry, but why is my entire glove box on the ground? A thousand dollars for tires and you leave my new car looking like it got robbed? Appointment also took 3 hours, when we were told “10 minutes, 10 minutes, 10mg the minutes” by your front desk employee. Not at all recommended. I’d give them zero if it would let me.

This Big O location has people in the front office that treat the customer with very little respect or appreciation. For example, when asked about the the difference between the $50 oil change and the $86 invoice, the Big O manager said "look at the invoice", turned and walked away. In all of his interactions, he treats customers as a bother. At least he's consistently rude to everyone but I won't go back.

Unfortunately have to wait at big o again because of a screw in my tire. They schedule me an appt and when I get here they tell me they're behind and it'll be about 2 hours to wait. I said why make an appt if I have to wait 2 hours just to patch my tire? I ask if I patch it myself will it void the warranty? They said yes. They clearly do not understand customer service or being courteous to people's lives. If you schedule something that time should be honored for the customer. Once the warranty is up I'll stop coming here as a customer for good. This is the 2nd time this happened, last time I waited 4 hours for them to look at my tire, telling me the whole time they should be able to repair it, then they got it back and said it had to be replaced and evidently even though it's under warranty it was still over $60 for 1 tire. Now I'm back and wouldn't be surprised if they tell me the same crap. When I came here initially they said 2 tires would be $69/each and an alignment for $99.99 I said okay. I get the bill and it was $393. Yep! They don't tell you about all the other charges and fees they add and don't give you the bill until they finish the car. This 2nd appt they tell me oh yeah come back in 45 min we'll get you taken care of. I come back after 30 min then end up waiting 1.5 hours longer and they finally get my car back. Then they open my hood and look to put coolant in. I did not authorize it and luckily I was watching them. I have a Volkswagen and it needs specialized fluids not whatever they have laying around and I've read way too many bad reviews about them screwing up people's car when it comes to fluids. I had to tell them stop doing that all I want is my tire patched. My kids get out of school in 20 min and I've already been here 2.5 hours. This is ridiculous and will not be back.

Excellent customer care. Had gone in for a radiator flush and it was pointed out that the radiator hose had no pressure with the engine running. The temp was normal but no pressure. Jamie and John, the technician, after head scratching the system determined to replace the radiator cap. Both those guys were honest and helpful in solving a confusing issue. Definitely will be back for honest service. Thank you guys again!!

Horrible experience. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. For reference, today is Tuesday. On Sunday, my father in law was driving my lifted F250 and unfortunately got an unrepairable flat. Big O was the only shop open so we had it towed there. They had to order our tire because they are oversized. The sales representative quoted us $500 on a replacement tire and said it would arrive Monday at 9am. We called Monday morning and they said it is now going to arrive at 2pm. 3pm rolls around and we don’t hear back. I call and apparently they received the tire 30 minutes prior BUT they ordered the wrong tire. They said they would order the correct one and it will be there by 8am Tuesday and they will be there to make sure it gets done and it should only take 15 minutes once the tire arrives. I call at 1130 am since I hadn’t heard from them and they had just received my tire 30 minutes prior and it would be done in 5 minutes so I could start heading over. I got there at 1140 and it still wasn’t done. The sales representative said that they just need to re-mount the spare under the truck. 12:15 rolls by and they finally finish. I go to check out only to find out that we were quotes wrong and the actual tire was $600. Annoying but I guess I have to deal. I get back in my truck and head to a store only to find that they left the old tire (even though I paid a disposal fee) AND the spare in the back of the truck bed. I went back so they could mount it under the bed like they said they were going to. I waited another 20 minutes. The sales representative pointed outside signaling that my truck was getting pulled around. I go outside and one of their guys was trying to pull it into a parking spot. I try to wave him down to tell him that I can just jump in and leave but he’s oblivious and ignores me while backing up and pulling forward 5-6 times, jumping the curb because he can’t park the truck. He parked so close to the car next to him that I had to shimmy in my door. Even the sales representative came outside and told him to hurry up. Then I pull out of the parking lot and head next door to grab McDonald’s for my kiddos only to look back and see that the old tire was STILL THERE! I whipped back around, jumped out of my truck, threw the tire out of my truck and took it in myself. To say I was out of patience is an understatement. I’ll never go here again.

Terrible customer service! I decided to purchase tires at this shop after going to Discount Tire for years only because they had a slightly cheaper price. When it came due for them to be rotated I called and made an appointment for the following morning at opening. Arrived there and waited nearly 2hrs and then was told that I needed brakes. The shop that takes care of my car had just checked the brakes and they were fine. I let the long visit and unnecessary recommendations slide thinking it was just an off day. Next tire rotation came around and again I made an appointment just as before. Arrived there on time when they opened and was told that it was going to take about a hour and half...really! I went to eat and visited home depot. I came back a hour and half later and my car had not even been pulled into the shop. I was told that it was next. I told them to just give me the keys. I went to Discount Tire and they rotated them for me in less than a hour. I'm not sure how this shop survives, I will not go back there and will be going back to Discount. If you like terrible service and wasting your time then go here.

Big o Tire Corp is a joke of a company. a co worker of mine had ALL four of his national tires separated after 25kmiles. two in the rear had a huge bubble, very dangerous. They're lucky they don't have a lawsuit on their hands. He originally bought the tires from the power and Germann location. So the manger here at mckellips was giving us the run around about how they have to get approval from the other store(total bs) he then warned us that the owner in queen creek is "sckecty" and would try to get out of replacing the tires. We cordially drove to the queen creek location and explained the situation to the manger and before he even checked the tires he pulled out the agreement and started higlighting the fine print of witch it explains the conditions of the warranty(as if he already decided to not replace all defective tires). My coworker purchased the road Hazzard warranty and they wouldn't honor it for the two front tires because of "lack of maintenance" manger said warranty was voided because the truck wasn't aligned And the tires weren't rotated every 5k miles! Now I'm no expert but that's just ridiculous! An alignment every 5k miles is absurd. He gave a quote to have to two rear tires replaced under warranty but wouldn't cover the front two because "they weren't completely separated" since he said they were fine, we opted out of replacing the front two. He then said that if we do, it voids every warranty on all of the tires because it goes against his recommendation. So they're bad enough to recommend replacement but not bad enough to be covered under warranty?? How does that make sense?. The way these guys talk bad about other Big O locations is disturbing. Don't know who to trust. Our company fleet of 8 vehicles will be going to discount tire from now. Because of two tires they wouldn't cover under warranty that were clearly defective. i suggest you stay far away from ANY Big O Tire... Pathetic

Do not trust this store with your car. Jeff, the old guy at the front, told me my brake pads were completely gone and that my roaders were destroyed. He wanted $700 from me to fix my breaks?? My dad took my breaks apart himself and replaced the parts with me watching, to find that the roaders were completely smooth with no damage, and there was still an 1/8th of an inch of padding left before the brakes would've started digging into the metal. I had caught it at the perfect time, and the car only needed some new pads LIKE THEY OFFER. This Jeff guy had the nerve to tell me he personally would not let his daughter drive on the road with breaks in my cars condition. He talked to me like I was stupid because I'm an 18 year old girl trying to do maintenance on my car. Jeff, you're a filthy liar!! Selfish and disgusting, taking advantage of innocent people who just want to drive safe on the road. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

Probably the worst service I've ever had. I could have applied for a job got it then taught myself how to mount and balance tires faster than the service there. I waited 4 hrs to get my tire put on with absolutely nobody else but me waiting then there were 5 front desk employees not will to even help the guy the guy putting my tires on. So don't waste your time there or give them your money for over priced terrible service

Had to change my review, was very happy at first . They cant even get an oil change right. Changed my oil and rotated my tires. Failed to put on the engine cover had to go back to store to pick it up. Had oil spilled on vehicle , and failed to return the lug nut locking tool. didn't seem to care. also got wife her oil change there , after the oil change there was a mysterious hole in her radiator, they said a rock hit it however she don't drive on the freeway only city streets and only 4 miles a day. $1800 to fix radiator ?? few days after her heater core breaks. Tow truck driver said it looked like someone was leaning on the plastic pipe and cracked it. under the pressure it broke.guy at the desk said it was the thermostat that caused the problem ?? the one they replaced ....." oh we will warranty the part but wanted $700 to fix it.... what a coincidence .. t many weird coincidences will not use again don't bother making an appointment for an oil change you will still sit there 2 hours. this also happened to my son. Update 30 Aug 24 just went to oil change at another shop and they told me they could not get the plug off the oil pan as the last one to do the oil stripped it . Unreal if you go to this Big O you will be sorry all they do is upsell and damage your car so you have to come back. Jeff the manager is the problem rude and arrogant will be reporting to AZ attorney general for investigation.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff here. The manager Jamie was just so friendly and helpful. Cameron the sales clerk went above and beyond to help us with questions. We were in and out as quickly as they could on a busy holiday. Will definitely be bringing our other vehicles here soon. Thank you guys!

I want to give a "Big O Thank You" to Big O Tires #004197 on E. McKellips in Mesa for making my experience smooth, clear, straightforward and will not hesitate to recommend this location to others. Making my oil change and tire rotation appointment online after closing time was easy receiving a quick response. The Mgr. Jamie has an awesome team of professional, knowledgeable, highly skilled hard-working mechanics and advisors who offer impeccable customer service, namely Dylan and Ashton. The ambiance here is inviting, comfortable, offers beverages, snacks as well as interacting with a customer friendly staff. I drove away in my happy vehicle.

Awkward silence, lack of acknowledgement and zero direction/communication. The whole experience was uncomfortable, it gets 2 stars because the traveling manager gave me a ride home and picked me up. I knew it was gonna take a long time which is why I got there at 820am. The assistant manager was grouchy and in a lousy mood. I told him I have slow leaks in my back 2 tires. He said he'd get to it by 2pm, which was fine. What happened next is the reason I hated this experience. I set my keys down and stood there in silence as he didn't make any eye contact or sound. I stood in silence waiting for him to confirm that was all he needed and he'll get to it when he can. Y'all I stood there for 111 seconds in complete silence while he typed on his computer. I only know it was 111 because as I stood there quietly I thought to myself "man it's been a long time, does he need anything else from me?" Then I started counting in my head. He finally looked at me and asked if I had been there before. I said no and then provided my pertinent details. He took my keys and that was it, no verbal or physical cue of "we're done please wait patiently". He looked at the person behind me in line and I got the hint that we were done. The person behind me was confused too. I awkwardly slid away from the desk and sat in the front lobby. (Not the lounge they have designed for customers who wait, I didn't learn about that till I got my car at 330pm.) Over the next 3 and half hours, I watched this dude complain about employees, brusquely tell people their car will take hours to look at. It felt like he was trying to scare customers after awhile. Then inheard a mechanic come in and mention something about my car and leave. I had sat there quietly working in the lobby from my phone in eyesight of the assistant manager and I gave him a chance to update me on my vehicle, but after another 5ish minutes of silence I asked him if what the mechanic said was about my vehicle. He then proceeded to tell me they patched one tire but they need to replace the other one. This was the theme of the entire day. He didn't give me tire options and made it seem like there was only one type of tire I could get so I agreed and then sat down silently. I searched online and found that multiple tire models work for my vehicle and I brought it up and asked if there were other options. Lo and behold THERE WERE! I got a ride home then picked up and returned. I was told my vehicle was done and all I needed to do was pay. I walk in the front doors that same assistant manager is there at his computer in silence with no other customers around typing on his computer and wandering the lobby and the garage looking for something. I assumed it was my cars paperwork and keys, it wasn't. I stood in the lobby at the center desk waiting to pay for 5 minutes before I gave up and sat down in a chair in the lobby. The manager who gave me a ride saw me still waiting and went to look for the guy, he saw the guy and said he's on his way back, then the manager left. I still sat there in silence for another 5 minutes. Then the manager handed me his business card and the assistant managers business card and said, "Thanks for coming in, we'd appreciate a 5 star review". Nope. I've performed comedy for special needs children and at my shows they were more verbally responsive than this place. At this point I only wanted this uncomfortable experience to be over. I was finally called up to pay and I paid and left. Just because a place is close to you doesn't mean it's convenient.

The shop on McKellips and Power is by far the worst I have ever done business with. They don’t finish things when they say they will. They have replaced warrantied tires with lesser quality tires. And often they won’t answer the phone. I do not recommend using this branch of Big O Tires. Go to another location and save yourself a lot of headaches.

We had appointment at 11:00 am decided to do lunch next door to kill time. After 1 hour figured it would be done since we had appointment. . Gentleman that checked us in was very rude. We got back and asked the young man Dillon and he got our truck right in. 2 hrs and 45 min later it was done. Jamie gave us a deal for waiting so long. Best part of big o is Jamie, Dillon and the popcorn.

Will never come here again, took my kia niro here to be serviced to make sure it was good to go for our road trip. Only had an oil change done. Got my vehicle back and the button on the driver door was missing. Definitely didn't give it to them that way. This was on the 12th, after them saying they'll order the part, and back and forth the part came and it was the wrong one. Then they had to order a whole new door handle, just for them to try and charge us for the part, saying they wont charge for labor. Said no foul play was done, it's wear and tear. Absolutely ridiculous, yall can stick that door handle where the sub doesn't shine.

ZERO stars. I got a quote to repair my AC. They said replace everything. They wanted $2200. I took it to New Dimensions. They said charge system and replace air filters. They wanted $240. Guess who I chose?

If I could give 0 stars I would. Scammed me for 250$ to rotate my oversized tires and not one fingerprint on my dusty rims. 5 hours later and no call to tell me my truck is ready. They never rotated my tires and charged me. I'll be back for my refund after the holiday.

MAGIC guest service at a tire shop!? Headed by to Payson my tire blew about 500ft away from this Big O tire shop. Dillion came OUT to greet me warmly with empathy as they had "heard the tire" before they even saw the car. As he deemed it unrepairable, Jaime the DM / owner came out. He overheard only what he needed to and called judgement on the situation. It was the anticipation of what I needed, understanding my financial needs and truly caring about me getting back on the road and back to Payson safely. When you have people running a business that are doing it from the heart - you know everything and everyone in it are going to follow suit. Thank you Jaime and Dillon. I'll be a customer at any shop you own and run as long as you are there!
