I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism at Big O Tires. I researched buying the tires outside of San Francisco but found the cost either higher or equal to Big O. Plus the convenience of having them close by. I recommend them.

7 monthes ago I took my car in for new breaks they told me I need all my breaks replaced plus tires I said wow ok .. got a bill for 2000$ turns out only my back brakes were replaced at the moment I spoke with my lawyers I will be suing for not only over charging me but risking my life!!! I have the old breaks to prove the unprofessional work from this location just horrible!!! The new mechanic I went to because somthing was wrong with my car but I’m no mechanic so I don’t know what the issue was he aprooved that they were not replaced for a very very long time and there’s is an amens difference between the back and front breaks and does not Look even close to being replaced at the same time even tho the back brakes work harder then the front this location are scammers be careful

As a black person in San Francisco, I still cannot wrap my head around the extent of horizontal discrimination from my fellow Asian orient human beings. Unfortunately had the all too familiar experience at this store from some jerk who seems to be their lead rep. Another rep requested I make a call and get back to her. As I walked around looking for her to provide the feedback, this man yelled noisily at me in front of other customers like I was going to steal from them. He ranted about me being suspicious. I work in tech and drive a Tesla. Can't imagine what I'd need badly enough to steal in a tire shop when I have never shoplifted my entire life. STOP ALL HATE - AGAINST ASIANS, BLACKS, OR ANYONE. We all share this planet together.

I was serviced at the counter by Mr. Leung. It was the end of the day and I took my vehicle for an alignment. When I was asked to pay I was informed that they didn’t take Apple Card. This is my preferred form of payment and the only type of payment I came prepared with. When I said I didn’t bring any other form of payment with me. Mr Leung said they would not return me my vehicle until they received payment. I asked if there was any other way of delivering payment such as providing a card number, any way to make a payment so I could get my car back. For context I live 40 miles from this shop, I needed my car returned to be able to go home and take it to work the following day. Mr. Leung was telling me that they would not be returning my car and I was out of options. I didn’t have time to leave and return with a different form of payment because it was closing time. In the end the situation was fixed. I’m angry with the way Mr Leung presented my options. The way it was implied that they would not be able to help me and I would be left stranded without a vehicle. I felt that the situation could have been fixed in a way that didn’t cause the distress and worry I experienced.

Needed a tire asap and they where the only shop to have them in stock. They fixed it within a hour! Definitely recommend them as my car is low,and they got it done smoothly without me needing to call off work the next day to get it fixed. Thank you bigO Team! S/O to Will Pak n Wilian Hernandez!!! Yall deserve a raise!! **Remember to have your wheel lock key handy for the technician.

Today was my first time visiting. The customer service was exceptional. They were able to get me in immediately. I had a nail in my tire, and they were able to mend it. I was in and out in probably less than 15 min and at a reasonable cost of $50.

You do not trust this shop without looking the invoice before you leave from the shop and pay your bills. They mark up 100% Wiper and charge other services fees without telling the customer up front. I got the bad experience from them by not verify in detail all the fees that they charged me before I allowed them to do the work and paid the bill. They just tell total costs. And I was surprised by looking at the invoice at home how much they charged me with fees that I did not know up front. And I called them, they blamed on me because I did not verify all the fees with them when I was at their shop. They did not want to address the problems with me on the phone because I already paid them. And they do not care customer services after I paid and left the shop.

Took a day and half to get a new tire. They were supposed to call me to come back the same day but they didn’t. Had to call and inquire. Also Over filled tire pressure when it should be 33psi. Did not give me back my green nitrogen tire valve cap

I don’t have much experience with auto service, but this place is beyond amazing. I have requested the tire service early morning and the same day I got my tires done. Where the other places is a waiting time for a week or two, which wasn’t working for me. The staff is very nice and friendly, and I was happy to see prompt and excellent service. Definitely in the future going to this place again and highly recommended.

I dropped in last week with my elderly uncle in his '07 Lexus LS460L with a large screw in the front tire. The shop was busy and crowded with cars, but a nice gentleman named Tony assured us he could get us in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, he helped find the factory wheel lock which was hidden in the trunk like a hard-to-find easter egg. We really had no idea where the wheel lock was, or why there even needed to be one for that matter! The important thing is that Tony took the time to help us, and was kind and accommodating to all our needs. They finished the car in 20 minutes and we were on our way. A very good experience (besides the screw in tire) overall. Thanks again, Tony!

Very bad service staff, and very rude, the big fat tall guy was very rude to us , he mess up everything, but he still think he is right. So rude and bad, I swear i won’t come back anymore. And will tell everybody no go to Big O tires 🛞 for any service.

Waste of my time. I went in for a simple tire repair job, a basic patch for a screw lodged in one tire with a very slow leak. After taking down all my car and tire details they quoted $50 and 2-3 hours. Not great, but on a Saturday before a road trip it was ok. Hours later they called me, said I need 4 new tires! That is called a shameless upsell. Very common and possibly even legal. But a complete waste of my time. And not good for the environment to throw away perfectly good tires. I drove home, on the way stopped at a random auto repair shop who patched it in 5 minutes for a much lower fee. So stay away from Big O and their shameless fear monger upsell, and find an honest neighborhood repair shop. If you actually need tires, much better prices at Costco.

Everything was great until they left my vehicle out with the windows all the way down and unclocked for who knows how long before I picked it up. I could tell some homeless person went through my glovebox.

I am selling my Audi this month. Had contacted Audi service center to do a check and they wanted more than $ 1100. I contacted Big O Tires and they asked me to get the car. The guts on the counter had a great conversation and completed all the checks including doing an Oil change and all this for around 200 bucks. The customer service was excellent. The warm conversation that their executives in front desk have makes you feel confident that your car is in safe hands. They ate not pushy. Just warm and professional. Great place, great people and great professional execution of the job. I am glad I found them.

I think of Big O Tires as a national chain, so hadn’t gone there and favored local businesses instead. I’m pretty sure they’re individually owned - I’ve been to the Geary location now a couple of times and they have been super, super nice and helpful. Really cannot recommend them enough.

The Big O team at Geary are the real deal. I've had 6-7 things done over the years and it's always straightforward, fairly priced and never had anyone try to upsell me. I'll keep going there as long as they'll let me!

A bought tires from them at a reasonable price. they said the rotating for free after 5000 miles. I brought the car back they told me the earlier the better, so I came when they opened at 7am. there was already 2 cars ahead of me, so I waited almost 2 hours from my car. Still a long wait for getting up early. But it was a Saturday I didn't see that many people working. So maybe a week day is better, don't know yet!

They have been sending me away saying all my new tires are fine. When all of them deflated together. But I will stick to Costco next time.
