Expensive. Told by the shop someone would be there in thirty minutes but it took the guy about three hours to show up. Found out the guy they sent to me wasn't even at work yet. Came in early to perform my roadside service.

Had an alternator crap out in the middle of the night saturday/Sunday morning, Mitch came out and had it changed very quickly, really refreshing because your Loves and TA's don't seem to want to help but these guys had the part on the shelf, great service 👍

I have had to call Block twice now for road side repair. Both times they got to me with 90 minutes. Very good service. Highly recommend these guys.

We were pulling a camper on I39 and limped off at Hy11. Google searched and found Block...2 miles away. Limped it there. Zack took a quick look, confirmed it wasn't a quick repair and let us park the camper in the yard until I could retrieve it the next day. Great person and company. Much appreciated! Thank you, Gary

I had really bad experience here. My truck needed road side assistance and I called Block Diesel Repair (all coolant leaked out while idling) Came out in no time and fixed the leak problem in 45minutes. Got invoiced for $850 for one of the coolant hose change. Started driving down the road and my truck gave check engine light. I drove myself to same people Block Diesel Repair and asked for diagnostics so I can see what’s wrong with my truck. They hooked up computer and went to get invoice done. Waited for that invoice for whole day. Tomorrow I juts decided to leave because no update on invoice was done, but they didn’t want me to leave. Blocked my truck in the parking and refused to let me go. No update on invoice still!!!! Late in the afternoon guy showed up with invoice of $750 for diagnostic that I never got and said I can’t leave before I pay… I hope this mechanics mob mechanism gets stopped some time soon. Consider that parts for my fixture was about $100 Everything else was labor $1600 I STILL ENDED UP HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TRUCK

Mitch was very helpful and explained what he was doing and if something happened again how to fix it. Really appreciate people that treat you like a customer and listen what your telling them even if your knowledge of using specific words are not the correct terminology that they use.

Even though my RV wasn’t diesel, I called at night and we made arrangements to get my truck fixed in the morning. Nate was the mechanic who was courteous and professional and I was called with status and ETA which was greatly appreciated.

3 WEEKS AGO MY UNIT BROKE DOWN .WE CALLED BLOCK DIESEL REPAIR . THEY PICKED UP THE UNIT AND TOOK IT TO THEIR SHOP . THEY TOLD ME THE NOX SENSORS WERE BOTH BAD ON THE FREIGHT LINER . I NEEDED THE REPAIR DONE AND THE BILL TOTALED WAS $3318. I CALLED THEM AND TO ASK FOR THE REPORT ON THE NOX SENSOR AND THEY DONT HAVE IT . ZACH SAID THEY DONT KEEP THAT AND IT HAD TO BE DONE THE DAY OF SERVICE . RYAN TOLD ME THAT IT IS VERY RARE FOR BOTH SENSORS TO GO BAD . SO THIS RAISES MANY RED FLAGS WITH ME ABOUT THIS SHOP . IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET OVER ON PEOPLE THATS REALLY BAD AND DISGUSTING . STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU CAN . I WOULD NOT BE WRTING THIS IF I WAS NOT GIVEN THE INFO.

I broke down on the highway called block repair Ryan showed up in less than an hour, picked up the needed parts and changed them out I was back on the road in less than three hours And did a fantastic job could not be happier Thank you Ryan

AVOID THIS SCAMERS, THIEFS. THEY ARE NOT MECHANICS. THE ADD IN THE INTERNET IS NOT TRUE. They don't know anything about semitrucks. They dont even have the correct tools. They overcharge you and make time to charge you more money and waste your time. If you want to waste a lot of money and time then call them. I had to call a different company to be diagnost within 10 minutes.

If iwas able to post zero stars I would, or if I could call the police for getting robbed I would of. DO NOT call this place if you need roadside assistance, I had my truck down, it didn’t want to turn on so I called them and shows up and just connect their computer and say he can’t do anything,proceeds to check batteries and nothing and for what like 1:30mins total came out to be close to $800!!!! I REPAT DO NOT CONTACT THESE PEOPLE IF YOU NEED HELP FOR ROAD ASSISTANCE. They’ll rob you!

My husband called this mechanic to check out why his truck was not turning on. The mechanic came and looked at the truck For 1.5 hours and couldn’t even figure out what was wrong with the truck and still charged my husband $800. How are you charging people so much for simply looking at a truck and not even finding what’s wrong with it? We took the truck to a DIFFERENT mechanic the next day and they quickly found it was the IPR sensor. stay assay from block diesel repair they’re scammers Edit: the owners responded to my review stating that they had diagnosed the truck with issues with the 6 injectors, when in fact They never diagnosed what was wrong, they literally only connected the scanner but never checked inside the hood nor underneath the truck. It wasn’t until we took the truck to a different mechanic that we found it was the IPR sensors.

Thanks to Mitchell at Block diesel repair in Janesville, WI, he saved our lives. It is December 31. (New Year’s Eve). Our Ford F150 was having trouble with the throttle body, which literally shuts down your truck. We were trying to get back to Texas, which is a day and a half drive from Janesville Illinois. We called Mitchell at Block diesel repair. He was very courteous and professional. He discovered that we needed a new throttle body. He called around, found the part and went and picked it up. He was back within 30 minutes and put the new part on the truck. He then ran a test to make sure the truck was not giving any other signals of malfunction and then let us test drive to make sure the truck was running smoothly. We are headed home now and could not be more happy about the situation. We highly recommend this shop. Our total cost of the repair was very fair and reasonable.Getting home safely; priceless.

So my truck couldnt start they came down looked it over for 2 hrs 30 mins they maneged work around to get it to start get to get to shop atlest then... figured it was a start key wire they supposedly fixed it in less then 10 mins. After thats they charged me for 3 1/4 hours of labor so 152 for call out fee and 152 an hour so it should have been around 500. But the charge over 700!!!! For a wure fix!! I get down thE ROAD and i need to turn it off and then the problem repeats itself they never fixed it prooerly apparently and threw away 700 They people are messed up an dont quit do there work righr and over charge dont do it!! This is an honest review u have been warned!!
