Rene and the crew are always there when you need anything, anywhere and anytime. Always making their customers happy with doughnuts every week (Wednesday) and decorating the shop for every holiday just for fun. They stay busy which is a good thing and always make the time to take care of your ride like it its their own. Keeping up with oil changes, brakes and good tires is essential for the safety of your family and everyone on the road so stop by Boulevard Ties especially on "Doughnut Wednesdays" for a quick vehicle check up!

After a double-fender-bender a lot was left to be desired in terms of my vehicle. It was all mangled up but after the work done by Boulevard Tire it is finally perfect and also has that original solid feel when I drive. Rene was/ is amazing. Great communicator. Very empathetic. Very knowledgeable. Made me feel okay during all of this even though my insurance company was being a silly butt!

I moved to Richmond 5 years ago and was really trying to find a trusted auto shop for the first year or so, and then I found this place! As a woman, I feel it’s often difficult to trust people at auto shops and being able to talk to Renee about my car issues made me feel comfortable taking my car here. She and the entire staff are absolutely incredible at what they do. I’ve always been able to get my car in within a day or two of calling and making an appointment. Whether it’s new tires, general maintenance or brakes/shocks, they’re speedy and efficient, and when things may take a little longer they always call to let you know. Not to mention they have great competitive prices, and are up front about costs from the get-go. I’m sad to be moving away from Richmond because I’ll have to find another place to take my car, and it’ll be hard to beat their quality of service!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’ve been to multiple car shops in the area the past 2 years and no one could ever tell me what exactly was wrong with my car and had me pay for things I didn’t even need done, but THIS PLACE found the source of my problems with my car and stayed very transparent not taking advantage of my time and money. My car is in the best shape it’s ever been!

Needed a tire while passing through Richmond (flat on the Interstate) on a family vacation. Luckily stumbled upon Blvd Tire. They got us back on the road in no time with exceptional customer service and quality of work. As a bonus; the VA Children’s Museum and the VA Science Museum are both a 5 minute walk away, so made for a very pleasant afternoon. In fact; Blvd Tire finished the tire job before we even finished the museum!

This is the shop to use. Awesome customer service. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Blow out on the way through Richmond. Found me a tire, suggested a hotel nearby, expedited tire delivery and had me back on the road first thing in the morning. Shout out to Waller (?) who went out of his way to help.

I recently had a bad experience with a shop I have used regularly for the past 8 years. I received an estimate for nearly $3,000 in repairs that I was going to need. When pressed, they let me know that most of the repairs were not actually needed to pass the inspection. They were "recommended" repairs. They told me only one item had to be done to pass, and it was a $1200 repair. I did not feel great about the way they tried to upsell me on what should have been an in and out state inspection, so I asked them to reject me so I could get a second opinion. Enter Boulevard Tires and Auto. My second opinion. I dropped my car off this morning for an inspection. I was greeted by the friendly front office staff, offered a cup of coffee, and a doughnut and was told they'd get to it right away. Within the hour, they let me know that the only thing I needed to replace was an $8 bulb. The estimate was very straightforward with no attempt to upsell me on any other parts or services. I was out of there about 30 minutes later. I am so relieved. Boulevard Tires and Auto went from my second opinion to my first choice for my automotive repair and maintenance needs. Highly recommend this place.

10/10 experience. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They called me to keep me up to date and were very honest about the work that needed to be done. They were able to get me in same day for a nail in my tire and prevented me from spending a lot more money than I needed to! I'll be returning for any car trouble in the future!

Had an issue on an older truck with a steering component that Dodge had discontinued and couldn't find a used one anywhere. Boulevard tire worked with a local machine shop to repair component going above and beyond, appreciate them helping me out keeping cost in mind

I've had good experiences at at Boulevard tire and auto for simple maintenance like oil changes and inspections, but I'm writing this review as a warning to anyone who has a VW or other foreign vehicles. Boulevard tire replaced the axels in my Volkswagen with aftermarket axels that weren't the right fit for my VW. I had to pay an additional $1500 to get this fixed at the dealership. I'm partially to blame for not knowing any better, but a heads up or acknowledgement from Boulevard would've been appreciated.

Renee at Boulevard Tire has done such an absolutely incredible job that I will never use another auto shop. If I move, I will drive back here. If anyone asks for recommendations or even mentions using anyone else, I will recommend this place. Thank you for saving my sanity and my car during those two months- you all are outstanding. I never expected the kindness or the ways in which Renee went above and beyond her requirements for me, she is a gem and I truly appreciate her. Thanks again.

I took my car in for an alignment for 69.99, the shop owner said I could not have and alignment done because of a tire rod (which I just had replaced). I ended up being charged 50$ for the alignment and they did nothing. Be carful this company is NOT upfront with their prices and will get a dollar from you.

They are always great to me. Excellent customer service. Fair prices. Easy on-line scheduling for appointments, but they were also accommodating when I didn't have an appointment and needed a quick oil change and tire rotation. I am constantly recommending them.

update - second time was a joke - had an issue with my airbags and told renee i would like to have the airbags fixed, and if they are able to fix them, to perform a state inspection. they were not able to fix the airbags that day Renee's off the cuff and off the record estimate was "at least 2000". so i picked up the car. on the bill was $20 for a "safety inspection". they straight ripped me off over $20 because they told me my car was totaled and i guess they assumed either i couldnt afford the repair or whatever so they bilked me for a final $20. i wipe my behind with $20 so its not about the money at all. why would you inspect a car when there is something wrong with it that your team could not fix, esp when the customer clearly stated "once everything is squared away, i need a state inspection? just a money grab. the man i talked to about it when i picked the car up was a total jerk about it and told me i needed to call back to talk to renee. i also asked him why would he perform a safety inspection on a car that clearly had an issue they couldnt fix right then. his response: "i know it". i simply left instead of trying to explain life to someone who essentially has no business interacting with customers anyway because he simply doesnt know how. renee was also supposed to call me back with a more solid estimate on how much the repair would be after sourcing parts, etc. again, i guess cause of the high price they quoted they assumed im not going to do it or whatever and she never called, today is the 8th business day. i took it to my regular mechanic (way across town, not convenient to get to now that i work from home) and they quoted me much less. what a shame this turned out to be for me and blvd tire. would have loved to use them more often but they are simply not trustworthy and then will argue about $20 measly dollars they knew they shouldnt have charged in the first place because it makes no sense. Final update: car is repaired and has passed inspection for a grand total of $529. I am so glad I got a second opinion. Original: Excellent place, 4 tires installed with an alignment for less than $400. Renee is great.

Got an appointment for a state inspection for within a few days, got an oil change at the same time. Prices were as expected, service was nice & knowledgeable. Quite refreshing!
