I really do not like taking my vehicles to a shop to have work done since I enjoy doing it myself. However today I had a 10 am appointment to have my front rotors resurfaced. At 10:45ish they pulled my vehicle into the bay. Vehicle sat about half an hour with ALL the wheels and one of my rotors off. At just before 12:30 they FINALLY started resurfacing the one they took off. I asked if they had done the other side since I had been waiting for so long already and they said no. I told them just finish the one they're doing and don't touch the other side, it's been way too long to JUST start doing one. Really just adds to me not wanting to bring my car to a shop. Honestly will never return.

Exceptional! They were so quick with fixing the car. There are super nice and friendly! They made sure to clarify all the questions we had. I am definitely coming here again. As a college student who drives back and forth to the UofA I was in a rush. They worked as quick as possible to get it done. Said it would usually take an hr but got it done in 30min! They are amazing. Thank you again Brake masters, I’ll be back!!!

New to the area and have been searching for a reliable mechanic, came here because of the high ratings. Went in for a free inspection of brake rotors that were acquiring grooves and needed to be resurfaced. Was told by manager/owner Mark at the time that this would be a "free" service if I brought it back for service. Followed up and made an appointment on the phone and asked to do an oil change during the same service appointment along with the rotor resurfacing. Was quoted by Mark over the phone $80 for an oil change, free service for the rotor resurfacing, and an -$15 discount as a new customer getting two services done at the same time. Seemed too good to be true, but trusted the quote based on good reviews and Mark's charismatic demeanor. Called back one more time before my appointment, asked if they could also take a look at my cabin air filter because the interior air flow was becoming heavily restricted despite the high fan speed and was again quoted for the same $80 with a discount for all these services. Again, seemed too good to be true. Came in for my appointment today and one more time went through the three services with Mark when I arrived: oil change, front left rotor resurface, and cabin air filter inspection. Mark wrote the work order, said "no problem!", and then proceeded to include an A/C recharge which I did not ask for. He then handed the work order to the technicians without any of the details I requested for the cabin air filter inspection and immediately left for the day. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 pm, the car sat in the parking lot for an hour, and then wasn't finished until 5:30 pm at closing, all the while I was waiting in the lobby. When the car was returned to me, the air cabin filter had not been inspected, the front rotors were not resurfaced, and the A/C had been recharged without my permission. I was told the service in total would cost over $300 when I was initially told by Mark that it would be $80 with a discount, and almost none of the service I asked for was performed except for the oil change. Afterwards, the manager Vince was able to show me the official quoted prices for the oil change and A/C service that was performed and none of the prices matched up with what Mark had told me which I had clearly asked about 3 times before handing over the vehicle keys today. When I asked why these numbers were so different from the quote Mark gave me, Vince told me that while here as a manager, he has had to constantly clean up after Mark's dishonest treatment of customers. I am very disappointed in what feels like a scam to acquire my business and that I was charged over 3 times what I was planning to pay for this appointment, and 2 of my 3 issues were not even addressed. The largest issue is that Mark gave me word about the price and services that would be performed without communicating this to technicians and Vince before leaving, and as a result the work was very inadequately performed and I am left with a much larger bill than I could afford today. I will not be returning for service here and hope that others in the Casas Adobes and Oro Valley area be aware of the poor communication and unethical business practices at this Brake Masters when looking for reliable auto service.

Mark is awesome. Had a great experience. I will have them serve my car from now on. Great staff! 2 weeks later, a whole other issue came up. These guys are AWESOME! GREAT energy. Fast, efficient and most of all friendly. Prices are fair. They will not gouge. No other place to go for your non electric cars. Check them out! You'll see what I mean.

Had to bring my car in first thing on a Monday morning, visit was quick and very efficient. Mark is consistently courteous and makes sure everything is taken care of in my car. Mark Canty over at Brake Masters #109 is absolutely amazing! We’ve brought my car to this location multiple times and we always receive great customer service from him. Mark takes the time to explain any issues your vehicle is experiencing and offers solutions on how to resolve them while keeping your budget in mind. We recently brought my car in for AC repair and the team was able to get my air compressor and line o-ring replaced in a matter of no time. My AC hasn’t ran so well in such a long time! Thanks again to Mark and the team over at Brake Masters #109!

Mark, the manager is amazing! He is honest, straight forward, and knows cars due to decades of experience. I was told by another local shop that I needed $2200 in car repairs and I did not, only $1000. Unfortunately the relatively new front desk employee here wrote me up a quote of $1600 after inspecting my vehicle.. Told me I needed both front and rear brakes done in addition to my other repairs. Mark looked at my vehicle and said my brakes are fine. Thankfully he looked it over. Brake masters needs to fire Vincent, the front desk employee. $600 in repairs not needed. Thank you Mark for being honest and caring. I see many happy customers here at this location on Ina Rd/Oracle. I will be back!

I was in here 1 month ago for a grinding sound on my brakes. First time I was here, I was told that nothing was wrong with my brakes after a complete inspection. Came in for a second time, the man that inspected my car the first time was fired and I was told my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced, paid $1000, fine. Paid it, came back 2 days later after grinding sound was still happening. Met with the very condescending manager who told me “honey, it’s just your brake pads breaking in, it will do that for the next 300 miles.” Fine. Horrible grinding sound still happening and I take it into the brake masters on Campbell only to have been told that the entire ABS module needs to be replaced. I knew it, don’t go here, they will never listen to you. So I’m out $1000 and was told that it was fixed when it wasn’t. The worst service ever, find actually experienced people who can diagnose your problem correctly. My safety was compromised and I could have died on the road at any time.

Mark the manager is seriously one of the most helpful humans i’ve met in a while. He made sure that an awful experience I had at another establishment, was rectified with the service he provided. So thankful for him to help make a frustrating process a lil more bearable. All the employees that i came in contact with at this store were so nice and understanding. 10/10 recommend. Mark Canti? He can.

Store #109 did a diagnostic for me and tried their best to find me the best and most cost efficient solution. Mark the Manager is very patient and understand, shares every bit of knowledge he has to offer (which was a substantial amount). He took care of me and was willing to go above and beyond to get my vehicle back on the road!! After a little misunderstanding he made everything right and make me feel comfortable to go back anytime. I really appreciated the AMAZING customer service.

I have been taking all my cars here for years! Every single time I get an oil change they "include" a tire rotation with the service. This time I didnt think about saying anything about a tire rotation because the service is "included". When my car was done I asked if the tire rotation was done and he said "No we didn't do because you didnt say anything about it" I asked why not because I thought the rotation was "included" with the oil change? He stated " That although it is Included with the oil change if I personally dont say anything about it then they wont perform the Included service." Ok sure I didn't ask for it becasue I assumed it was included because he even agreed that it is!! Guess I'll be finding somewhere else to service my cars.

Mark and his team were great. I took my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. I also had an active check engine light, and they were able to figure out that I needed a new thermostat. They had it fixed and ready that same day. Thanks, Mark!!

I took my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder in with 2 bad O2 sensors expecting the repair to take a day an at bear minimum $1000. Mark Canty and his Technician Joe Kaldenberger had it done in 4 hours and under $800 and now my car runs smoother than ever. I highly recommend this shop for any repairs that need done and they will always have my business. Anyone who is willing to help a college student like me get a repair this expensive done for such a great price is always worth it in my books - Collin

MARK IS TRULY A BLESSING!!!!!! I had to come and give him another review. I had to take my car in for what I thought was the head gasket. However after a full thorough look it was not. MARK showed me compassion and did as much as he could to save me as much money as possible. He constantly kept in touch with me on all updates until the job was done. I truly thank you for the time and hard work you did to get my car back in running shape. I recommend them to anyone they will take care of you. I will only be going to Mark and his crew!!!!! Manager there is the biggest idiot name is mark does not know how to listen or communicate with the customers fire him you are losing loyal customers because of him. The notes clearly said i did not want anything done without giving me the price and they did the work without me agreeing to it and then made me feel like I was in the wrong

Outstanding customer service from Mark. After a service to fix my power steering, I had an issue with a corroded positive battery cable. Mark knew that I had just spent money on the power steering repairs and was extremely helpful in telling me what part I needed to buy and how to replace it myself. He answered my calls when I had questions and was very patient with me. I would give Mark ten stars if I could. I will come back to this location again for service. Highly recommended - Mark cares about his customers!

I pulled in with a flat tire. They don't do tires but helped me out by changing to my donut so I could get to a repair shop. I pffered to pay them and rhey said no. I am beyong grateful 🙏 They will be my new repair shop in the future. Thanks, gentlemen! 😊

Mark the manager was tremendously helpful and efficient. This is the second car I've taken to this location in three weeks. Both times I've received excellent care and service. On my first visit, they told me that my brakes were good, my struts and shocks were solid, and my oil still looked fresh. No charge. Gotta respect a place that is this honest now days.
