"Sad but true" I recently had my oil changed, I had a couple drips of oil asked the worker up front if they could see why I had a couple drips of oil coming from my vehicle! As they finished he stated it was my timing chain cover leaking. So I panicked and called my mechanic, as I waited for my mechanic to be available my car was leaking so bad after I left the shop. My mechanic fixed my problem, the employee at brake master broke my oil dipstick tube and didn't say nothing! My oil was very low and of course over $300.00 later I got it fixed. Never a leak on my timing chain cover oil from my oil filter was dripping and then the break of my oil dipstick tube. I've contacted the location manager stated there's nothing he could do, I called main customer service and NO RESPONSE! Thank you for the experience I'll never go there again and I'll make sure no one else I know goes there either!!!

Had all four wheels screeching when braking. The guys at Brake Masters 196 were honest and informed me that the brakes were in great condition and that the cause was more than likely the tire shine overspray from the automated car wash. They could see that the wheels had recent tire shine on them. I cleaned the disks with brake-clean and it worked! The screeching is all gone! I’ll be removing the automated tire shine from future car washes from now on. Thank you guys for the great service and advice!

They were very kind and helpful when I brought my car here after I had taken it to two other mecahnics and those two couldn't fix my car and tell me what was wrong.

I have been going to Brake Masters for years. I trust them. Their service excellent. I can get in quickly and they give me updates as to what they are doing to my vehicle. Also, very nice people.

Probably one of the best experiences I have had in years at an auto shop. Brake Masters is professional, efficient, and caring. Seeing my car with the wheels off and getting an understanding of where the brakes were worn made me feel included in the decision I was making to replace them. All other shops should take notice. Thank you Brake Masters for making this experience a great one.

Only Brake Masters I go to! They are extremely pleasant and funny. Have never had a bad experience. Ray is so helpful and polite. I recently moved across town. I will not go to any other Brake Masters except this one.

I had a great experience here. Had an intermittent squeaking from one of my wheels, thought it might be a break pad sensor telling me my pads were low. Called and talked to José (very cool, kind and professional guy). He said to come on in for a FREE brake inspection. I told him I wanted to SEE the pads once the wheels were off, he said no problem. Brought me back to check it all out, pointed out some things I didn’t know about, gave me some very helpful tips, and turns out, my pads are fine for probably another 6-12 months, must have just been a little pebble or debris making the noise. I wan in and out in about 25 minutes, The store was clean and even though I live clean on the other side of ABQ in the east mountains I would come back to THIS store again if I needed to just cuz Jose is great!

The manager employees DO NOT HANDLE THERE BUSINESS PROPERLY UNEXPERIENCED RUDE WE HAD A OIL CHANGE,AIR FILTER CGANGE, AND LEFT WITH LEAK'S I NEVER HAD ANY LEAK'S I Took my car back just to hear from the manager , employees negative remarks, I was not happy and STILL have LEAK'S coming from under my car WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS TREATS THERE LOYAL CUSTOMER THIS WAY I WILL TAKE THIS TO COURT IVE NOTICE NEW EMPLOYEES AND RUDE DO NOT TRUST OR TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE THEY WIL TREAT WITH THE MOST UNPLESENT RESPECT

For all the business I have given this place in the past 3 months give or take I was only given a $15 coupon & spend over $3,500.00 in services. I also had them save me the old part from replacing my A/C blower motor & hot it in the box the new one came in & said it was from a truck not sure if this was replaced & I pd for the blower motor & oil change $635.??

I took my vehicle in to get the brakes checked. I was told that the front brakes rotors the back brakes And the shocks were leaking.Cost was gonna be eight hundred and four dollars. I was doing this for my mom which she did have a mild stroke. When she heard the price , she almost had another one. I. Called my sister.She had mentioned to me that her husband checked the brakes which he is a mechanic.And all it needed was break pads. I was gonna be charged and outrageous price for the rotors And back breaks and leaked shocks.That nothing was wrong with them. These people were ripping My mother off I told them just to put brake pads. I was only charged a $166 my mom was Relieved. Anyone goes there do not believe them. Check your car and make sure get or get a second opinion.

Read the reviews and thought this would be a QUALITY place to take my car for a brake service. Everything was fine until my car spent a night outside and got rained on. Next morning (not even 24 hrs since my brakes/drums were replaced) my newly replaced drums were covered in rust. I understand over time items wear and tear, but in less than 24 hours? I called and was told it could happen. But I'm thinking it would happen in 10 years more or less after being in constant contact. Might be a good idea to avoid this shop in the future as you do not receive quality materials for what you pay. 👎

The most professional people, I had a bad experience at snappy lube in Espanola New Mexico, so I was nervous about taking my car to another store chain, so I explained my horror story of what happened to my vehicle. The employees name was Ray and he said a bad experience somewhere else is a good experience here, the shop techs told me what the issues were for my brakes and we took care of it. now my vehicle is doing awesome, thanks guys I'll be back for future break and oil maintenance on my vehicle.
