Called Mr. Fred on the fly didn't want to attempt my brake replacement myself. I already had material and I believe he gave me a fair price. And I think the most important part to mention is he was about to close and he was more than willing to help me out.Thank you Mr.Fred! I will be seeing you again.

I was referred by Ed at United Auto Services. Fred is awesome, honest, and great at what he does. Also, he got me back on the road quickly, no lingering all day long. He referred me to someone else who could do the service that he did not offer. And that experience went great as well. I have found my go to mechanics. Thank you all.

It's best to call ahead, i missed him on lunch break, came early the next day, missed again. i visited seven other shops $105.00-150.00 to get an estimate...$300 - 400 to repair. Fred asked to wait until he completed the vehicle on the rack...twenty minutes later he repaired my car $135.00 parts and labor. i didn't specify the repair just the overpriced shop I visited before I saved a couple of hundred dollars with Brakes & Muffler World..thanks Fred.

I brought my 23' Atlas Crosssport to Brake & Muffler World after hitting a pot hole and crushing my exhaust pipe. I took my truck back to the dealer and of course they didn't have the time and wanted to charge me my mortgage to fix it!! I call Mr. Fred he said bring it on in and he fix the problem within an hour for not even have the price. I would recommend them to anyone and I will be a returning customer.!!!

I don't think I have visited a more efficient mechanic business. Fred gives you an accurate and honest diagnosis of your problem. What I like Most is that he realizes that you NEED this repair and he doesn't try to gouge you with his prices just because you do!! Fair and honest technician and business man!! KUDOS!!!!!! I had a converter issue, he took my vehicle in quickly and the repair was expertly done before I could open my folding chair to wait! I applaud you Mr. Fred, for operating such a great, honest and fair business in South Dekalb!! I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone who needs this type of service! 5 stars given but would give 10 if I could!!!

Exactly what I needed. An old school mechanic shop where brother was welding as I pulled up. They accomomdated me Immediately. Pulled my vehicle up on the lift within 10 minutes diagnosed my problem. Free of charge!! They let me know what was wrong and referred me to who could help me. I will return if I ever need their services.

I would liked to have used this business, but after coming to it twice and it being closed, I don't think that I'll be coming back. Please clearly list your hours. I came in Saturday, was listed as open and also as closed, depending on where you're looking. I came back on Monday to find that they were still closed, and then eventually noticed the closed on "Monday's" sign over on one of the bay doors, nowhere near the operating hours listed on the front door.

My son brought his car to get his exhaust manifold fixed at this shop, despite the good reviews my son was swindled out of $$1200. In just 2 months the car is down again for the same reason. Allegedly the exhaust was fixed along with an o2 sensor which was a part that didn't need to be replaced. If considering getting your car fixed here make sure u get a second opinion.

I have been going to get my mufflers done by Fred for 15 years and I have never been disappointed. I recommend him to anyone around me speaking about exhaust. He is fair and knows what he speak on. Today he took care of my brothers 1994 SS Impala with the OG parts still attached.

I rate this Brake & Muffler world 5 stars. They had me in and out in one day when another muffler shop stood me up by telling me to come in at 8am the next day! For their shop to be closed on that day! Which was bad for business cause they lost my servuce
