Dropped off my Ford Focus for an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade replacement. I marked the tires beforehand. None of them have been rotated. The oil wasn’t too dirty beforehand but it had been a while so I decided to change it anyway. The oil doesn’t look any different. I also got a condition report saying my oil was leaking. I haven’t seen any evidence of leaking under my car. Ever. And when I called to say I definitely didn’t need them to fix a common issue for automatic transmissions (since mine is a manual) they said the car was ready. “You should’ve gotten a text,” they said. I hadn’t. I won’t be returning. Stay away. At least the front desk guys were very nice!

I've been using this Brake Max for over a decade and through 3 management teams. Obviously I'm well satisfied with their work. Most important is I feel I can trust them. They do the job and alert me to maintenance and repairs and provide honest assessments of how critical each item is to the vehicle and to my safety.

Great customer service and assistance to make things better than right! Kept me informed of the needed repairs, and stuck to that estimate. At checkout, they even worked with my credit card company to get the charges to be within my credit limit. Extremely pleased and grateful for their work.

I stopped by this location for a brake check and estimate. I was required to make an appointment even though no customers or vehicles were in the shop. Upon my arrival for my brake check/ inspection and estimate appointment, the "manager" drove in a small circle in the parking lot, pulled into a bay, lifted my car and had an employee remove the two passenger side wheels. The "manager" inspected the brake shoes and provided a completely B.S. estimate. This waste of time took 3 minutes.The "service tech" placed my wheels back on the vehicle, hardly starting any of the lugs before dropping the vehicle back to the ground. As the vehicle slowly rested back on the ground the two passenger side wheeles pitched out at the top. I asked if the tech would lift the vehicle back up and do an initial tightening of the lugs, and this absolute moron holds up a torque wrench, the dumbest look on his face. Needless to say I took my vehicle straight to Discount Tire explained the situation and had the wheels mounted again. This location is a bad joke and will do far more harm to your vehicle than you know. Brake Max on Houghton can F.O.

Right from the start the customer service is amazing. I have taken my husband’s car to the Rita location and my car on separate occasions for two different reasons. During both visits the employees made a personal connection with me. I love the car report and the pictures that comes with it. I would recommend the Rita location over others.

They did a great job. They were not forceful or try to scare me into more work for my car. They just advised what needs to be done. They also took my coupon with no hassle. The lady and the gentleman that helped me Oct 5 were awesome.

Had my car break down about 1 block away from this Brakemax location went in there to see if they would help Albert and his team went out to where my car was and got it to their shop fixed my problem in a timely manner.. you dont get customer service like this anymore 10 star customer service and work... Will be bringing all my vehicles here

I went to the shop because my tires sounded weird, the nice guy in the front, Joshua, was so helpfull! I got my car looked at and fixed that same day! Definitely will go back if anything else surfaces with my car!

This store has worked on all 3 of my cars and never had a bad experience. I will be taking all my cars to this shop over and over. The manager explains everything nice and easy. The shop is nice and clean and organized. His team knows what there doing with my cars. I recommend if you need you cars worked on go to Brakemax on houghton and ask for Albert.

the work performed was acceptable. They did what we requested, but something has changed at this location. The customer service is not the same, and the feel of the location is different. The former management was so friendly and helpful. We've taken our cars to this location for years, and since it changed management, we have noticed a decline in customer service. They wouldn't even look up prior service to determine the type of oil. Very impersonal and a bit condescending. Disappointed and will be looking elsewhere to have our cars serviced.

I came in yesterday with an issue with my used car that’s given me nothing but trouble since purchase. I was very obviously upset and scared as this vehicle is the only vehicle we have for our family. I live deep in vail— no busses. Uber doesn’t even go out here (only Lyft) so I was so worried this car was toast. The guys here did a thorough inspection and helped to get me back in my vehicle same day. I was so happy and so grateful. They were kind, sympathetic, and they treated me with respect. I didn’t feel stupid nor did I feel I was being taken advantage of. I would absolutely recommend this brake max location. Thank you Albert and Andrew (and anyone else that might have worked on my vehicle) !

One great thing about this place is having a peace of mind and knowing your concerns about your car will be taking care of. Anything they find that could be a potential problem is disclosed without pressure. I like that I am given an option and freedom to decide. While my car was getting worked on, I got a chance to listen to Edred and Josh conduct business professionally. They were very pleasant, respectful, and transparent of how much the services would cost. I love that they showed concern to the customers and explained the specific of the service that will be provided. It’s hard to find auto repair services that are honest and I feel this place BrakeMax is not going to take me for my money. They have good teamwork and everyone did their best to work as efficiently and hard as they possibly could. Thank you so much for always getting me back on the road safely. You guys are awesome!!!

This BRAKEmax was awesome!!!!! Alberto and his team were all polite and very helpful. I brought my car in without an appointment because I had a coolant issue. They kept me updated on all the diagnostics when they were working on my vehicle. They were able to look at my car and fix all my issues that same day. I highly recommend this BRAKEmax for any of your vehicle needs.
