I went in for a brake inspection and was told my vehicle needed new brake pads all around. They mentioned the rotors were still in good shape and suggested addressing the suspension system when I had the chance. I decided to get the brake pads replaced and the rotors resurfaced, but when I saw the pricing, it seemed excessive for the labor involved. The parts, with promotions and discounts, were only $40, but the labor cost was $550, which felt outrageous for the work being done. I decided to check with Brake Masters for a comparison, and their quote was around $380, confirming my suspicion that the pricing was too high. Veronica, however, was incredibly sweet and did her best to work with me to lower the cost, which I truly appreciated. Despite her efforts, I won’t be returning for future services.

I took my car into the BrakeMax on Thornydale the afternoon before a major holiday due to my car suddenly giving me serious driving issues and my check engine light turning on, Veronica offered to give me assistance even though it was 30 minutes before closing which really helped put my stress at ease. Throughout this whole experience I was kept in the loop every step of the way and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you again to Veronica, this was probably the best experience I’ve had at a auto center I definitely found my place of choice whenever my car gives me issues again!

The service was excellent Hector is outstanding...was very friendly and professional and took the time to explain everything in detail Glen did an awesome job fixing our little Subaru Very timely...job was completed when they said it would be and there were no hidden or additional charges I'm a mechanic of 35 years and very skeptical of most auto shops but I was pleasantly surprised how thorough they were It was a very easy and pleasant experience I would highly recommend anyone to have their auto needs taken care of at this location and we'll be having our cars serviced at Brake Max Thanks again to Hector and the crew for your outstanding service Ron Russell

I had a brake problem that several mechanics couldn’t diagnose. The people at BRAKEmax didn’t try to charge me for something expensive that wouldn’t fix the problem. They kept my car an extra day to try and diagnose the correct problem. One of the technicians had heard of the problem before on another vehicle. It was reasonably priced and correctly diagnosed. I appreciated the extra time they took and that they listened to my concerns. I’d definitely go here again!

Store manager Veronica was very helpful and assured me that she would give me the best discounts she could allow. I took my vehicle in for a check engine light problem that had to do with a fuel injector failure. This location on Ina & Thornydale rd is much more than just a brake & tire store. I will be going back for future services.

The "new" manager Tony is super rude and difficult to speak with over repairs done before he started there. Saying some stuff not covered under warranty, I should know my vehicle better, and not rechecking a diagnosis leak that I paid them to repair. Both a/c and oil leak were "repaired" and both are leaking AGAIN but they won't touch my vehicle. I went to another BrakeMAX location and they said they were told not to touch my vehicle. If you work with this manager make sure you record everything and get everything in WRITING especially the warranty for the parts they put in & ASK to see the old parts. My car is undrivable after 3 attempts to "repair" the oil leak they diagnosed. After every visit the oil leak has gotten extremely worse and now I'm out of a vehicle. I'm waiting for a return of all my money which I've not been contacted for since August 27, 2024 so I reported to the Attorney General and plan to file a small claim. AC was diagnosed with a noise after the replacement of a compressor was leaking refrigerant after another replacement was making noise again. OMG.

Had a low tire pressure light come on and pulled in here. Friendly staff quickly took a look at all 4 tires, added air as needed and said to keep an eye on it. No push to buy tires.

I had a good experience at Brake Max today. My battery died and I took it in to them. Even though they looked pretty busy, they were able to replace it, get me in and get me out. I like the new service they have for a review of your vehicle condition. It includes pictures and tells you what they recommend for additional service. Nice touch.

Tony and his team have been such an amazing help with the many issues I've been having with my Ford focus. I had picked up my car after having a repair done and sadly I didn't make it home the car had overheated, I was upset and freaking out when I called them because I needed my car to start a new job the next day. Within the hour he had my car towed and helped me by letting me use one of his cars for the time being. They found the issue (which wasn't their fault) and did all the labor for free, I just had to pay for the part. Tony really came through for me, they really care about their customers there. I won't ever take my car to any place else. They are fair priced and will work with your financial situation as much as they can, they do not overcharged or over sell. I do not trust anyone else.

Used a third party site to book appointment, 4 Tires from simpletire, they communicated quickly when it was found simpletire only sent 2 of the 4, they listened to my request of how to rotate after installing the 2 they did receive and apologized for the tires even though it wasn't their fault.
