I got wonderful help at that Catalina, AZ Brake Max. They fixed my air conditioner in 100 degree plus weather so I could drive with my windows rolled up in moderate comfort. No waiting for the repair which was a major plus since my family has only one car. Thank you.

This place has become my favorite....under the last management always felt there was always on-going upsell. Now, new manager and they tell me what is due and what to watch for, though not needing it yet. They easily schedule, work efficiently, communicate, and all maintenance is done timely.

After quickly diagnosing the screw in the right front tire, they replaced and balanced to tire within 1 1/2 hours. Brake Max even took me in right away without an appointment. Stellar service!

I had been taking my Highlander to another shop since I moved here 3 years ago and I’m happy with their service and prices. But this time a neighbor told me about BRAKEmax which is like 5 mins from home and decided to dot give them a try. I was very satisfied with the promptness and quality of their service, there was a slight difference in price from the other place but it’s worth it since I avoided driving a longer distance which means gasoline $$.

The mechanics at BREAKmax are always knowledgeable and willing to service my car every time I bring it in whether I have an appointment or not. Today, they took me right away even though they were busy. The mechanic pulled a nail out of one of the tires that kept losing air and repaired the hole in the tire so I would not have to buy a new tire. They are wonderful to work with and it’s always a pleasure talking with them. They go above and beyond what is expected of them! I recommend BREAKmax to all of my friends and neighbors.

I can't express how thankful I am for the 2 gentleman that were there at the end of the day that took my car in at 530 pm! 30 mins before closing! I had a nail/screw in my tire and was in panic mode. They relieved me of my stress and they got it done! Best customer service i have ever experienced! Thank you again for helping me in such short notice!

I ran over a sharp piece metal, had to change to the small spare. I drove in to Brake Max and ask them to fix my tire. The quickly fixed my tire and I was back on the road. The service was fast and the were very courteous and pleasant.

Charged $14 more than quoted when I made the appointment. For an oil change. Did not re-set car's maintenance light. I knew my oil was low when I went in. I expected them to inform me of this and caution me that I needed to keep an eye on this matter in my older car. But they didn't say anything about it. They claimed my battery read 'weak.' Asked me when I bought it. Six months earlier; and the bright red sticker on top gave the month and year. A battery check from someone else later said that it was perfect. Invoice described services I'd supposedly declined that were never mentioned to me. The man almost never looked at me, never used my name, acted like I was unwelcome. They left my steering wheel, etc. more grimy than any mechanic previously had. (I expect a little grime, but this was more than a little.) Waiting room appeared to have dirty shoe prints on the vinyl benches in two different places. I got dampened paper towels from the bathroom and wiped off the place I wanted to sit. I asked for an oil change. Because I wanted an oil change, specifically. They -- without asking for clarification or offering something else -- did an umpteen point inspection, including messing with my tire pressure without asking whether the tires were hot or cold, and didn't ask if they were air or nitrogen filled. After I got home they sent me a text (w/o my permission) asking me to submit a review. I noticed the bottom of the invoice invited us to call customer service if displeased. I called. Their routing system wouldn't send me to the extension on the invoice. Called back and asked for the operator. Was sent to voice mail (at noon). I never received a return call. Received a second text requesting a review. So here it is. -- Edited to add: A district manager did refund my money.
