I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years, and I can’t recommend this place enough. I refer not only my family but also my friends to them. The owner is an incredibly respectful, honest, and hardworking man with a heart of gold. I have the utmost respect for him and his staff. Every time I come in, I’m treated with kindness and professionalism. I always tell them I’m happy to wait as long as needed, and they always make sure to get the job done efficiently without wasting my time. What I truly appreciate is that they don’t charge me an arm and a leg like other places do, and I’m never left waiting for weeks. This place is a true gem, and I’ll keep coming back for as long as I can!

I gave the owner a To-Do list that was fairly labor intensive, including a clutch and belt. When he gave me a time estimate of one day I chuckled and nodded; and then scheduled work from home for the next three days. They got it done in FIVE HOURS. Six months later the clutch is confirmed good. His mechanics are a swat team. I don't expect that kind of speed, but I sure do respect the owner for not messing around with other people's time and money. I hear the excuse that dealerships are too busy to be quick blah blah; cool story. This guy's shop was busy too, so what does that mean? I think it means this man understands efficiency.

It is not cheap to have your car brakes replace here so DON'T BE FOOL on the name of the shop. I had my car brakes changed here and I was charged $600 so I would not say that it's BRAKES 4 LE$$

This is best place to get your brakes replaced!! This shop offers a lot of great services and most importantly they are honest people and the prices are more than fair! I will definitely come back in the near future. I made a great decision bringing my audi here. I trust them, they know what they’re doing they will even show you the problem. These people deserve more clients and I hope they know that I am now one of their loyal customers. 10 stars!!

I've had the brakes/rotors done twice on my suv here. Both times, just drove up and they were completed within a couple hours. The work they do is amazing, so fast, these guys are the very best! It's within walking distance from home, so it's so nice. I only trust these guys!!

If you want to get your brakes and rottors done every 15k to 20k miles when you drive 7k miles a year and cautiously mind you, come waste your money here. After 1 year, I had to have the front brakes replaced under warranty and now after an additional 2 years of under 20k miles all brakes and rotors need to be done and they suggested me to buy my own parts. Clearly whatever parts they use are not up to par to last.

Great service! I changed the wheel hub bearings front for a reasonable price! While performing the replacement, they found the driver brake caliper was in bad condition and it’s dangerous to drive with it like that, so I changed too and everything was very fast and they advised was on point Good job, thank you

Just got my brakes replaced at the dealer and about 8k miles later I've been having a slight squeak. I came in an hour before close and they immediately took care of me! Cleaned up my brakes and did some other minor work and fixed the problem. I was in and out in about 25 minutes for an amazing price. Would recommend!

Brakes for less is one of the places you can definitely take your car for anything from brakes to suspension to simple fixes. I would recommend them to anybody. I've been using them for over 30 years. We had a problem and whenever I did. I took the car back and the problem was corrected right away. Breaks for less for all of your service over the years. I will continue to be a customer.

I went there recently to get my brake pads and rotors changed. The team there was nice and friendly, informative and quick. They did not try to sell me of stuff and services I didn't need. I would go back to them and recommend them to others.

I’m basically in love with this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the mechanics. I really feel like I get the best deal on the work they do on my car. They’re incredibly fast and won’t push extra work on you that you aren’t ready to pay for. I really trust them. They’re very communicative about the work they’re doing and what it will cost, and they keep my car running well. I don’t live too far but even if I did, I’d bring my car back to them. It’s incredibly valuable to find a shop you can trust.

Amazing service. I came in without an appointment at noon on a Saturday and was in and out in an hour. On my Toyota Corolla, I got my front rotors and brake pads replaced, and they did an oil change, all for 440$. Everyone was very kind, the waiting room was nice, and the service was so good. Will definitely come here again for all my car needs.

I went to this location all they did was clear a code for the car to pass For the Emissions test And after a week the light came right back on and the same code was given this pleace is a ripe off do not come here

My biggest fear is talking to auto specialists about my vehicle. In the past I have been lied to, uncharged, and without a car for weeks. My previous car had a lot of issues and I gave Brake for Less a try. The positive reviews about the shop encouraged me to bring my car. I explained the issue to Alvaro (owner) and he took a look at my car. I convinced myself the repair was going to take all weekend and was going to be very expensive. He called back and quote me the price. I was extremely happy to find out he knew how to fix the issue and the price was extremely affordable. He even had it done by the end of the day! Fully functioning car - ‘05 Acura - emissions issues (not a real problem, but captured by the sensors). Alvaro and his team were able to get it solved and, while not on the Illinois EPA approved list, get the car passed and give me a few more years of service. I cannot more highly praise these guys.
