Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover/or maybe you should! 🚘 Brakes 4 Less: Westport Road Date: 11-16-2024 Employee was friendly. Service was done in a timely manner. Very thorough with explaining what is needed. Conversation between employees weren’t very professional. But the kindness superseded. If you go in the winter and wait…wear a heavy jacket. These places always seem to be a little chilly inside. WiFi and Tv friendly! 🔧Service: Front & Rear Brake Pads ($350+) 🪛Vehicle: SUV CADILLAC *4Star only because of language. Thanks Brakes 4 Less! Follow-> First Lady for Honest Reviews Edit: 11-19-2024 (3days after service) I noticed my car was making a weird sound and I discovered that the mechanic had not replaced my brake fluid cap and he damaged my hood. It's not able to stand alone now. I am not satisfied with this at all and will bit be returning. In fact, I learned a lesson. Just go to the dealership where there are trained and skilled professionals and if any problems arise, you can contact corporate office. There was one mechanic who was very nice though. And he wasn't the one who checked my fluid. I will not discredit his kindness and knowledge. Thanks 4 nothing Brakes 4 Less 🙁 2Stars I will update my review with 2nd results🤞🏾. Update: 11-20-2024 Mystery that the mechanic has the exact same vehicle as I. My cap comes up missing as well as mystery on how all of a sudden my shock on my hood don’t work any more. (Just got an oil change and it was fine). They pulled it in the garage for a short while then pulled it out and decided to work on it under the car porch. There is a dishonest mechanic here. The older gentleman and the younger gentleman. Stay away from this place. Use at your own risk!!! ⛔️ This place is not recommended at all. I’m 99.9% the mechanic took parts of my vehicle to put on his. Vehicle is till making a loud noise as if they took something off. This place is a hidden gem. Amazing service performed today. I prefer to do my own work, but don’t have the time. Extremely thorough, easy to schedule (and adjust), and most importantly - did incredible and honest work. I will only come to this location for my brake work from here on out.

My car had 70,000 miles on it so I took it to Brakes4Less on Westport Rd. Shay waited on me and got me in right away. I was sold the brake pads at the advertised price. Shay said there was some rust on the rotors but did not try to sell me new rotors because they weren’t too bad yet. The brakes were replaced while I waited. The service was friendly and professional.

Always impressed with my experience at Brakes 4 Less. (Westport rd loc) Lance was acting Mgr at that site. Excellent to work with ,understood my needs and offered a repair at a fair price. Lance did a great job on my Chevy truck and lexus. Thank-you.

I made an appointment for 830 am and I didn’t get on the inspection rack until 9:45. What I was quoted was not what they charged me; it was more. Lance was very helpful and informative. I appreciated his knowledge. My car was finished around 12:15 pm. You’re appointment doesn’t reflect the time they will get to your car, FYI.

Was told by another shop that my brakes were in critical condition and needed to be replaced. Brakes 4 Less inspected mine and, lo and behold, I’ve got 40% life left. Thanks so much for the honesty. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this shop to others.

I called the line to make an appt in Louisville, the woman who answered was so sarcastic, rude and unprofessional. I will be canceling my appointment and going elsewhere after the way I was treated just trying to even schedule. Not a good first impression..

Dropped my car off for an 11 am appointment. Simple pad and rotor replacement, said I’d be back in an hour or so. I’m now sitting here almost 4 hours later and my car is still not complete. As a matter of fact the guy who told me he had a 1pm has all 3 workers going at his car while mine sits disassembled. Don’t come to this location if you plan on having you car back the same day. Clearly not cracking 100 IQ combined between these convict techs and ole Butch at the counter.

Came here first got quoted 140 then went up to 600 so I decided not to do it went to another place they told me they left my lug nuts all of them loose and stripped a few . SMH

I came In to the Westport road location because my brakes sounded like a dying seal when I pressed them...that's the only way I can describe it. Not being a car person I was completely freaked out and prepared to pay an arm and a leg to get my car fixed. I spoke with a woman (I believe her name was Teresa) she was nothing short of amazing! She not only explained to me what my issue was, but she reassured me that she wouldn't charge extra without telling first if it was needed. I left feeling safe in my car and will for sure be back and tell my friends to visit this location.

I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. Teresa was nice and super helpful. She called my husband per my request instead of me and explained what needed to be done to my vehicle. We had a strict budget and she was able to get my car taken care of within our budget and in only 2.5 hours. I expected my car to be there all day and was grateful it was not. Feels good to know my car is taken care of. Thank you !

Nice enough people but there was an obvious bait and switch vibe going on. They quoted me a price for their part and said I could buy the parts elsewhere but they would have to charge me $150 to install them. I was in a hurry so I just let them order the parts and the price was more than they said. They also “couldn’t” turn my rotors, an obvious ploy to sell me more ridiculously overpriced parts. They are ok in a pinch if you have disposable income, but I recommend looking for someone that has a relationship with a garage that you trust. These places all operate under the same business model. Bait and switch. Never going back for any reason. I’ll pay dealer service prices before I use this place again.

Theresa has been amazing to work with. First time coming to Brakes For Less, had an issue with the brakes after a couple of months, called Thersa and they fixed the problem immediately. Would recommend and will be bringing all of my cars back here.

Theresa the manager at this location was awesome! She even took the time to talk with me on her day off to keep me updated on the status of my Genesis. If you wanna pick a place that cares & wanna do the job right bring it to the Westport area. Brakes for Less should be very happy to have a manager like Theresa spearheading the front lines.

Dropped in at 12:15pm on 10/26/2023 about brakes. Two employees in chairs never moved and there were no vehicles in the bays. After waiting several minutes left without getting any service. Employees never moved, when I drove by them pulling in and not while pulling out to go elsewhere.

Honest and trustworthy business, I took my car in for a brake inspection, they didn’t try to up sale me for any unnecessary products and services. The inspection is free of charge. Would definitely come back and recommend!!!

Theresa and her staff took GREAT care of me and my car. I had brought my car here about a year ago thinking that I needed brakes only to get a call from them saying that they could do the service but it was not needed. Saving me hundreds of dollars that I didn’t need to spend. Fast forward to today, I needed quite a bit done. Theresa called me and helped me figure out the best plan of action to take care of my car’s problem. Their honesty and great customer service will keep me coming back here and referring them to my friends!

Great service here. Got to the appt 10 min early and they got started on it right away. They quickly identified the cause of the grinding noises and Theresa fully explained the issues of each wheel and their suggestions for each. They gave me educated advice on what's best and why. A little over an hour later, they had my car all fixed up and safe for the road. Would come here again.

Since the moment I arrived Theresa and her team were just great. They did the inspection for free and told me everything my car needed it. I did quote some other places and by far this one was the one that gave me the best price on my brakes . Will definitely recommend this place due to service , cost and efficiency
