I went to Brakes For Less on S Meridian St on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to tell me what was wrong with my Nissan Altima. They told me to come back the next morning since they were going to close soon, but I had to bring cash with me since credit cards are only accepted on tires. On Saturday morning, I paid $490 cash ($340 for pads and rotors and $150 for caliper), and I waited in a warm waiting room. Michael came into the waiting room and showed me one of my incredibly worn brake pads. My guardian angel was definitely watching out for me because Michael told me that he estimates that it had started giving trouble for approximately six months, and it was a borderline miracle that I hadn't had a car accident. Praise the Lord! All pads purchased have a lifetime warranty on parts and labor, and rotors have a two year warranty, but you must keep and present the receipt for all warranty work. I was at Brakes For Less for approximately 75 minutes, and I left with my car completely fixed. Overall Michael and the other employees gave me a fantastic experience at Brakes For Less :)

Came in for rear brake pad replacement and was able to get in and out fairly quick. Happy they also include warranty. They really do have the best deals in town. Great service, I recommend!

I love these guys! I bought a new car and when I heard a weird noise, they took a look and fixed it normal time at all! They are so reasonably priced...they are MY guys whe. It comes to my car!!

Mike did great work on my Buick. He replaced the motor and made sure it was running beautifully before I picked it up. Took payments. I was very satisfied with his work and I will be returning to him for work on my other vehicles

Brakes for less is top notch!! Brakes for three vehicles and oil changes for all in my household! Found a broken strut and saved me a fortune not to mention the safety aspect….10/10 highly recommend!

Do not take your vehicle here. I took my vehicle here because my vehicle was running weird and would not go pass 40 mph. The guy advised me I was in good hands so I left the car to them. After a week or 2 I went to retrieve my vehicle and found terrible welding, a missing catalytic converter and the problem still there. The man told me I just have to drive it a certain way for me to get the power I need. Again don’t go here

I had a flat tire so I went to Brakes for Less to get a new one. When I arrived there was smoke coming from my wheel well and they did a free diagnostic for me and found that I needed a new brake hose and pads. They gave me a GREAT price - a friend of mine is a mechanic and verified that the price was more than fair. They got me fixed up and back on in the road in no time. Mike is the best! Highly recommended!!!

Mike is top notch! This place has done work on my jeep, expedition, and minivan this year. heater core - Jeep Wrangler, brakes-Honda minivan, carburetor cleaned - jeep wrangler, foot step motor- ford expedition, rear bumper replaced- ford expedition.Anyways they are good at what they do, highly recommend Mike and his team. Our son deployed and while he was away his car needed new brakes and rotors. His fiancé took his car to a place in Virginia to get it fixed. Six months later, his time was over and he and his fiancé returned home to Indiana. Not long after coming home, there was a horrible grinding sound coming from his back tire. On a recommendation for our other son, we took the car to Brakes for Less to see what was going on. They immediately found that the rotors on his back wheels were shot. While they were doing the repair, also found that the swing arm was not bolted and just hanging. Whoever had worked on the car before had broken off the bolt and instead of correcting their mistake, put gorilla glue on it to hold it! It took a lot of work to drill out the broken bolt, but the mechanics at Brakes for Less were able to replace the pads and rotors, make all the repairs needed to fix the arm, did it all in the same day, and for a more than fair price! These guys are professional, friendly, and obviously care about the quality of work they do! They even had a free shuttle to take us back to our home while they fixed the car, then picked us up from our home when it was finished to take us back to the shop. They have done a great job with both our son’s cars and we will definitely be using them again for anything that any of our cars need in the future!

This place is a God send. They were very nice and the service was quick and easy. They even took the time to try to get me a refund from autozone because they sold me the wrong brakes. This place deserves to be recognized for their outstanding customer service. Definitely telling everyone about this place. 😃

Brakes for less deserves more than five stars. I had my car towed to Brakes for less after My car was stolen & needed numerous repairs. The skilled mechanics were honest and friendly about the repairs my car needed. In a little less than 2 hours, my car was fixed up and safe to drive. If you want to have your car fixed, this is the place to go. Friendly and prompt service. The cost is extremely affordable. I was informed that I would require new rotors in roughly three months. I was not under any pressure to complete them right away. This place gets a 10/10 recommendation.

Came in to get brakes & rotors changed on my 2015 Suburban. They had it done in under 2 hours. Very reliable place. Suggest you to bring your vehicle/vehicles here. They are very fair with pricing too. I won’t go anywhere else from here on out. ☺️

Got my brakes done on my daily that’s been sitting for a while in my driveway did it within 2 hours also did a cv axle and get my studs in for a way better price like half the price I was quoted at any other mechanic shop like the big brands you see online and did the same job also would recommend this shop to everyone had no problems and was very understanding 10/10 👍💯

I had an incredible experience at Brakes For Less when I needed my engine replaced. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they also went above and beyond by offering to buy the engine for me then let me pay them off in payments because I couldn’t afford it at the time From start to finish, they provided excellent service at a surprisingly affordable price They truly cared about helping me out in a tough situation.The team was knowledgeable and transparent, They explained everything clearly and kept me informed throughout the process. They sourced a quality replacement engine and completed the job efficiently, without compromising on quality. The quality of work was outstanding, and my car is running better than ever! I went to these guys about a week ago. my brakes and rotors were shot. They took care of me and gave me a really good deal, saving me about 300. They also fixed the mistakes a previous mechanic made. It was done quickly and efficiently!

This shop stripped the wheel stud on a 2018 Chevy spark, and the customer tire would not come off for a break job I recommend them to return to the shop to fix this problem. When the customer returned she was cursed out and called out of her name, The employees here are very disrespectful and racist.

Excellent experience at Brakes for Less. Came in for a pad and rotor replacement and Mike quoted me a very fair price. During installation a broken axle was discovered and Mike was quick to give me a great price on the part and labor. Jordan was a great mechanic as well and was very fast in the repair and replacement. They've earned a loyal customer. They even took me to my house and bank. 100% recommended.

I bought my 2004 hyundai elantra here thinking that it was just a couple of small things that needed to be done to get it running and it turned that I need a new motor plus the small fixes. The owner worked with me financially and was just so kind and understanding. He was able to grab a good motor for my car and fix all the small things that needed to be fixed as well. It's been month and she drives well! I'll be telling everyone i know about this place. He's an honesty and amazing person!

I came in with parts from Advance Auto Parts and got the wrong ones. They gave me a ride to replace them with the correct parts from Advance Auto Parts and treated me like family. When I came back, they were done with the rear ones, and it didn’t even take an hour to fix my pads. Someone tested it to make sure the sound was gone, and now I’m satisfied with their services. I recommend this place to anyone who wants the best service in Indy.

I would give them less than a 1 star, unprofessional manager who does not take ownership and is a liar. There work is shotty. I would never use this place for anything, unless you want to have someone else refix what they did not do. The positive reviews on here are fake

Recently, I’ve had a bit of work done on my car at Brakes For Less. Not only are they friendly and professional, they do quality and efficient work. They do more than just brakes. My car has never ran better! They have a FREE shuttle service if you have to work or somewhere to be. Now, they are cash only but it’s definitely worth it!

So thankful for this place! My car was in bad shape and going to cost more than anticipated. Mike really helped me out; getting my car done quickly and being flexible with payment. They went out of their way to make sure the kids and I were comfortable while we waited. I will be recommending this shop to others!
