My husband & I were traveling to NM and our brakes were making a funny sound, so we stopped to have them check it out. They got us in quickly & back on the road. However, within an 1/2 hour our car was making a horrible thumping sound. After an hour we pulled into Walsenburg CO & luckily found a mechanic to take a look. While on the lift, they found the lug nuts hadn’t been tightened. Literally, you could wobble the tire with your hands. Not only did it cost us $60.00, it could us cost us our LIFE. We were so grateful for dodging a catastrophe, we left them a $40.00 tip. Costing us $100.00 total, but that’s a small price to pay. When they called Brakes Plus, they said thanks for making them aware, but offered us no compensation for the extra 3 hours and stress that was added to our road trip. This establishment CANNOT make mistakes like that. I was horrified and lost all trust with them.

Great price and service; clean and comfortable waiting room and bathroom. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Edited—back 11/30/24 with a different vehicle, and the shop is as wonderful as I remembered! I recommend!

I was dealing with a battery issue and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They replaced my battery and let me know what things I should look at the next time I have my vehicle serviced.

Amazing service!!!!!!! All of the techs are professional and friendly. They review what was completed on your vehicle, as well as issues and concerns. They kept me in the loop of how long it was going to be and made sure to offer beverages and wifi info while I waited. Definitely returning!!! Also, shout out to Dario! He is amazing with customer service and making yourlbfeel comfortable. And to Mike for answering all my questions and getting me scheduled. 11.30.2024- Came back for another service and the experience is still the same. Amazing staff who is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. LaRue provided me with EXCELLENT customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Edit: The staff at this location is very friendly and very helpful. They work within your budget to help get your vehicle back on the road safely. They will tell you what's the most important stuff that needs to be fixed and what stuff can wait a little bit longer. I will always bring my vehicle to this location thanks to the staff going above and beyond what they have too.

Had a great experience here! Came in with a complete flat tire and couldn't get my suv in the shop. But Mike and Ali still found a way to help me! They dont typically do tires so this was completely inspiring to see these men find a way to get be back on the road. THANK YOU AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I made an appointment this morning for an oil change for my car and I was able to get in right away... Very clean and pleasant employees working there.. They are very knowledgeable about what they do.. I was extremely satisfied I would recommend this place to others for sure!

Disappointed, I had to take off work again and clean the oil up in my garage. . Used them several times in the past. Had to take my car back to brake plus because the oil filter was leaking oil. I gave a 2 star because they changed my oil and filter again and apologized.

I took my car in to get it aligned today and let’s just say my car proved a bit of a hassle. I recently put on new tie rods but was unaware that the previous owner of the car had moved the steering wheel off dead center, so my tie rods were very messed up to say the least. Christian saved the day. He took extra time and effort into getting my car just right and back on the road. Christian also helped fix a mistake I made when installing one of my rear control arms. Christian also let me know of any hiccups that came up throughout the alignment process and let me choose what I wanted to do. Christian fixed my totally messed up car and dialed in my alignment in speedy fashion and I am one happy customer. Shoutout to Mike too. Amazing customer service all around. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you guys!

This is a fantastic shop! The staff are friendly, happy to answer questions, and they provide timely, high quality service! I brought my car in for a free brake check and they gave me a thorough explanation of the condition of the brakes, as well as some upcoming service recommendations, but there was no pressure to purchase any service. I highly recommend visiting this Brakes Plus shop!

Zero stars... called for alignment was told yes ok come in by Loraine. Told woman I need to drive jeep in dog is mean she said ok will put in notes. Guy comes out and says can't let me drive my effin vehicle in after waiting for 30 min. Wouldn't have came in at all or left if they can't accommodate for pets. Any other place accommodates for pets or will let you know when you tell them not make you wait 30 mins.
