After receiving phenomenal service from Everett and his team in Coppell, TX, I was thrilled to find that the same high standards carried over to Crowley, ESPECIALLY as a woman! I did not feel rushed, belittled, or as if I was being taken advantage of while being assisted. Everett’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for his customers’ needs make him and his team a standout in the auto service industry. I came into to Brakes Plus for an alignment this morning and Ana and Nate was super helpful with my visit. I have been going to Brakes plus since I moved to Texas in 2021 and this was my first time at the South Hulen location and it was by far the best treatment ever. They broke down the issues I was having and explained how to get my Honda riding smooth again. Nate was really knowledgeable about the issues I was dealing with. This has been by far the best place to come and get my vehicle checked out and I recommend they to everyone.

Misdiagnosed my vehicle and ended up costing me nearly $2,000 for unnecessary parts and labor, nothing got fixed. When confronted about it all they said is that they followed the proper steps to fix the issue but I’m the one that walked away short $2,000 and with a vehicle misfiring.

Nate and his team did a great job getting me new brake pads, ensuring my rotors were good and gave me a great deal on my new alignment. The whole process was seamless. Nate and his team provided top tier Customer Service. Not only to me, but while I was there they gave this service to ALL of their customers. They even provided me a ride home so I did not have to wait in the lobby while they took care of my car. This Brakes Plus location is the ONLY one me and family will use for any of my brake service we need! Check them out if you need work done. Prices are are on point as well!

I called this location this morning inquiring about how long a 4 wheel alignment would take. The gentleman that answered the phone said that if there was no one on the rack, it would take about 35 minutes. I told him that I was on my way. When I got there, I saw there wasn't a vehicle on the rack. I went inside and the young lady that helped me was putting my services in the system and while she was finishing up, another customer came in and I over heard him asking for an alignment as well. The young lady handed my key and paperwork to someone in the bay and I went outside to enjoy the nice weather. I was walking on the sidewalk keeping an eye on the bay and I noticed the person who took the other customer's order hand his paperwork to technician and he said something to him. So I continued watching and, imagine that, they pulled his vehicle in before mine. I went inside and asked the other cashier "What's up with that?" He responded "What?" I told him that I was there before the other guy and his car was on the rack before mine. He said "I don't know what happened" and I said "You know what happened" and I asked for my keys. I have been a customer with them back when they were City Garage. I have 3 vehicles that I bring in for them to take care of. I have spent a lot of money with them over the past couple of years. I needed an engine replacement and would have had them do it but, they don't do engine replacement. I consider myself a loyal customer but feeling a little soured by this situation.

This Brakes Plus is amazing. I came in to have my Highlander realigned and was out and on my way within an hour. Polite, courteous staff who communicated clearly. Javier's customer service was impeccable. Service was fast and they communicated with me about my car every step of the way. No one tried to upsell me on anything, and in fact they honored a discount when I said I had been referred from Discount Tire. I highly recommend this team.

I had been taking my car to this garage, which used to be called City Garage, for over 5 years, and they were always very honest. But now that it's become Brake Plus, their service has gotten terrible. I took my wife’s car, a Chevy Cruze, in just to have it checked out because it was slowing down and stalling while driving, and the passenger window was stuck. They charged me $700 for the diagnostics and repairs, but a few days later, the same problem came back. When I brought the car back to them, they told me it was the transmission and that it would cost $3,000 to fix. I decided to take it to another shop for a second opinion, and it turns out it wasn’t even a transmission issue. To be extra sure, I bought a TOPDON diagnostic tool, which pointed to an EGR valve issue instead. I will never go to that place again.

This morning on the way into work, I ad a grinding noise start occurring on my work truck. I called and Javi told me to bring it right in, understanding my need to get back on the road as soon as possible. Unfortunately, he found some issues with my previous caliper installation and advised that I call the place that installed them to inquire about a warranty. They will be taking care of the issues, but had it not been for Javi looking out for his clients, I would be out another $1200 like last time. Moving forward I will Be having all of my vehicles brake work done here.

Told one of my customers they needed an alternator on an older Hyundai and it was just a loose negative battery cable. Great diagnostic work guys, you will go far! Their response to reviews is typical corporate bullshit, they apologize without having any context or specific details to help you out. They want you to contact them so you can wait on the phone talking to multiple other agents…who I guess are as incompetent as their mechanics. Shame of a shop.
