Just stopped in to have my vehicles checked for tag renewal. Employees were fast and friendly. They got my cars and had me out of there in like 10-15 minutes per car. Update 11/26/24 Took my 2016 Subaru WRX STI in for brake service. Hit a hiccup where the calipers bolts were seized in the calipers (bummer). Ashley and team worked hard to find fair cost replacements and get the work done quickly. Ashley also did great keeping me in the loop with findings and cost. Overall, still very happy with service recieved!

I was referred to this place by my sister, I must admit I was a little skeptical at first. The title does say Brakes plus. Guys I am so glad I gave this place a shot. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Their service was prompt and I loved it. Let's go back to prices for a second. My wife drives a Mercedes, we received better than dealership quality and service at a much better price. Thank you Ashley for such a wonderful and positive experience. We have found a new mechanic!!!

Most importantly, they do good work at a fair price! When my car needs attention, the first place I take it to is Brakes Plus on Blue Mound Rd. Thanks for being a great repair shop. A huge thank you to Ashley for getting me all set up with new brakes for my SUV. They took a couple hours to re-do all of them and install some new parts. Dropped off and picked up with no issues. I will go to them should I have any new issues to address.

Great experience, I came in last week to get my suspension checked out on my truck and the mechanic was very thorough. The manager showed me what was going on and we made a plan to get my vehicle back on the road safely without having to do everything at once. I appreciate the time they take to explain everything. I came in because I thought I just needed the brakes bled. They did an inspection and found that I was missing a washer on the bolt that holds on the hose. They could have told me that it was the entire caliper that was bad but they didn’t. They were very fair and fast. I appreciate what they did very much. I will be bringing all my vehicles here !! Thank you !!!

I normally don’t leave these type of reviews but I really feel compelled to. I was visiting mom and I took her car in for an oil change and a tune up. I met the manager Ashley, and she was awesome! Was so cool to see a woman who knew about cars and the business. Really awesome experience. Wish I could give 10 stars!

I’ve always had a positive experience at Brakes Plus. They do a great job and have honest and upfront pricing. I take my car there for general maintenance and recently had a front axel replaced, an alignment and a few other things. My 2015 Toyota Rav 4 has 200,000 miles and I want to keep it in tip top condition and will only take it to Brakes Plus. 👍

junior was so amazing and super friendly. they were very busy and still got my car done at a decent time. he even filled up my tires for me and switched my older tire to the back so i could have one of. my better tire in front. his customer service was amazing i definitely will be coming back

Be cautious if considering Brakes Plus. I was misled during my visit, and I fortunately left before any unnecessary work was performed on my vehicle. I came to Brakes Plus for their Labor Day special, following a recent assessment from my dealership, which indicated that my front brakes were at 4mm and my rear brakes at 6mm. The dealership also noted that my front rotors were in good enough condition to be resurfaced. However, Brakes Plus claimed that my rear brakes were down to 3mm and the front brakes remained at 4mm. I was surprised to hear that my rear brakes had deteriorated so quickly in just one month, especially since I have a front-wheel-drive vehicle, which typically wears the front brakes more. When I voiced my concerns, they agreed to recheck, only to admit, “You’re right, we were wrong.” Additionally, upon re-inspection of the rear brakes, they suddenly declared my front rotors to be in poor condition and insisted that I needed to purchase new ones instead of resurfacing them. This was my cue to leave. I felt that, had I not been informed, I could have easily been convinced to authorize unnecessary repairs. The entire inspection and discussions lasted over an hour and twenty minutes, despite having an appointment first thing in the morning. I was not respected, my time wasn't respected, and I left with a strong impression that Brakes Plus does not operate with integrity.

Changing my 5 star to a 1 star rating because y'all were the last ones to work on my tires and have now come to find out the lugnuts and tire screws they go on are stripped from the tools and user carelessness. My new go to place! Chris is amazing and the team behind the scenes is top notch. I felt my concerns were seen and heard and my questions were answered without feeling looked down upon. I was fully explained to, in detail, on what was wrong. I went in for rear and front brake change, but only needed the rear changed, saving me money and time. No gimmicks, no sales, just what's wrong and how to fix it. If you're on the fence between places, give this place a try, it was so totally worth the while and quality is what counts.

Excellent service without a hard sell for optional maintenance items found during brake and battery inspection. Did not upcharge for replacing the cabin filter in my Mazda5 even though labor-wise it’s a giant pain in the neck. Update 09/13/2024: Went in for a suspension check because of a clunking sound. They tightened the fasteners on the strut mounts at no charge and the clunk disappeared. Will definitely keep going back.

I don't know why they take appointments. They don't honor them. I arrived 45 minutes before my 9:30 appointment. It is 10:23 and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. At 10:10 I inquired as to why my car had not been taken back, the manager said my car was next. 2 minutes later, they pulled a different car back to the service area, and my car is still parked in the lot. 55 minutes after my appointment, nothing has happened. It's totally ridiculous.

MASSIVE WASTE OF TIME. I scheduled an appointment here for 9 am thinking I’d be in and out for oil change and tire rotation. As I just moved to the area and this was the closest place, I’d hoped to establish somewhere to go. Nobody mentioned the wait time when I said I’d be hanging out. 1 hour 45 minutes later and they hadn’t even taken my car back yet. I can’t speak to their other services, but it seems like a pretty significant consideration to be mindful and communicate in a timely manner for your appointments.

Called to see if they could do a state inspection, was told to come in. Got there just for them to say they can't do it today.
