Got my brakes done less than 6 months ago and now they're making a grinding noise. The quality of the pads they use are terrible. They only offer a 3 month warranty which is a huge red flag that I missed. Now I have to spend over $650.00 to get the job done right. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Roemello was my technician, he did an excellent job meeting me at my apartment complex to replace the pads for my 2020 Lexus. I was able to use the brake pads of my choice. Roemello was very professional and test drove my car after to make sure the brakes were working 100% perfectly. Brakes To You was very upfront with pricing, no hidden fees. Extremely pleased with the service!! Saved me $400 from not going to the dealer.

I paid $695 for front brakes/rotors. Less than 500 miles brakes started squeaking and car makes noise every time I drive. I have to pay another brake company hundreds to fix this issue. I reached out and result to rectify was not satisfactory. I had to dispute the charge and file a small claims action. Do not use. Would not be an issue Midas/Meineke. P.S. look at the reviews with the same issue. RUN DO NOT WALK...

I do not recommend anybody going to break to you. I paid $1000 for front rotors Front brake rear brake was told my rear rotors were OK and I didn’t need to replace them. I’ve had a warranty service twice and my brakes are still squealing. I’m not understanding why brand new brakes are squealing so aggressively but I highly do not recommend anybody coming to breaktoyou, all I wanted was a refund to go to another shop but they keep sending out warranty services. That’s not doing anything if it still squeaking The last warranty service that I had they told me I now might need new rotors that might help with the squeaking If y’all aren’t offering quality parts, the convenience isn’t convenient.

Brakes To You does not stand by their work. Despite being assured at the time of the initial repair, that the brake pads would be replaced and all necessary components installed, I have now discovered that that was not the case. The brake retains clips were not installed. This oversight has caused significant inconvenience and concern for my safety. Proper installation of brake retainers is crucial for the effective functioning of the brake system, and the failure to install them has compromised the safety of my vehicle. In order for them to install what should have initially been installed they now want to charge me an additional $250 per axel. Due to their lack of response and failure to ensure safe installation I have had to escalate this complaint to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

I have got them to come back out to look at my brakes because they still sounded the same as before I got them to put “new brakes” on they came out but my brakes are still squeaky money wasted. Now they won’t even contact me back.

The appointment process was simple, easy to communicate with them via text. They did honor price match. New brakes feel good. Only small complaint is that service took about 4 hours total rather than the advertised 45-90 minutes. Would rather have them done right than quick though.

Excellent experience, would definitely recommend and use again. Very quick response via text. Allowed me to reschedule without being charged. I Had issues when trying to make my payment and instead of canceling, they completed the job and processed my payment after the technician had already left.

Pros: Love how friendly, easy, transparent, and thorough the appointment set up was. Loved the price and process explained. Loved the electronic invoice system. The mechanic who came out was a nice young man and he worked swiftly and pleasantly for the most part. Con: The technician’s assessment was that I did not need rotors replaced just the pads. And while I appreciate the price break at the time, I kind of wish he completed the job as I originally inquired and I wonder if the recommendation had more to do with it being cold that day and it appeared he brought his girlfriend along the job and wanted to get back to her and not have her waiting too long. All in all I will use service again.

I had a fantastic experience with Brakes To You. I texted their support number and received a response in less than a minute. It only took a few minutes to setup my appointment for the following day. The gentleman who replaced my brakes was quick and professional. This company will be my go to for all things brakes moving forward!

It was helpful for them to come to us to do the brake job. We wanted a second opinion on our brakes, and we found the guy was knowledgeable and friendly and explained a lot to us and wasn't pushy to do extra work. We were very happy with their service.

On time, fast, polite, and pleasantly surprised by the price for having them come to me. -Updating review a year later to say I've used them several times. Once my brakes started acting up about 6 months after service and they came out and replaced for free. Always great communication and fair price.

Called about shaking in steering wheel when brakes were applied. I have experienced this problem in the past and the repair was rotors, pads or both. Kaleb determined by a visual inspection that there was no problem with any of my brake system. I paid the $89 for the service visit. Took my car to a repair shop where they replaced the pads and rotors. Surprise, no more shaking in steering wheel when brakes are applied. Thanks for stealing $89. And of course I will never call or recommend this company to anyone.

The guy was very HONEST it turns out I did not need a brake pads and rotors replacement and he told me about it. The vibration was related to something else. Only charged the 89 dollars service fee.

I cannot with good conscience Recommended Brakes to you Charlotte to anyone. I made an appointment for my specific vehicle on 10/24. The technician arrived an hour late from the scheduled time. Then spent 20 minutes outside. After this the technician stated he needed to leave to go South Charlotte to get a part for the repair. When he returned 90 minutes later he stated his boss forgot to order the specific part needed for the brakes. The part would take two days to arrive and he would return until Thursday to do the repair. However instead of this he charged me for a diagnostic when it was not needed or completed. When he returned Thursday he was late. The technician stated again he was missing a part. He stated I could pay in full and he would “drop” by when he had time to finish. He bragged about having a job in South Carolina and a Maserati to put brakes on. We were flabbergasted our service would not be finished although we waited three days. We stated we were not paying until the service was completed. He then said his “manager” said he had no guarantee he would get paid, we could hide our car and try to run off on paying. This is literally our home… like seriously the job was not complete. When I spoke to him about the comments he denied making them. I have cameras on every aspect of our home with sound so we captured it all. He then drove off peeling rubber without telling us if he was going to complete the service. Then came back and completed the service with an attitude. Passive aggressively only sending text messages. I thought having someone come to your home would be a luxury, beating time at the shop but, it was a nightmare. Having someone at your home who is unpredictable and now knows where you live is scary. Especially when they are rude and aggressive. Avoid at all costs. Protect your home and peace.

I used this company a few weeks ago to get my brakes done, however, now my brakes are squeaking and I called to see if someone could come and see why they are squeaking and I was told it will be an 89.00 charge. I love having someone come to me but I don’t like being pushed off because the job is now completed and a charge to have someone to come and check their work. I was told someone will get back in contact with me and no one has contacted me yet and it has now been two weeks

Technican Kevin was on time . He notified us of the brake issue before completing the repair. We had front rotors and brakes replaced and the job was done in a timely manner at our home. I'm glad I found this place on Google! The reviews are real because we experienced the same great service as others have stated ! Would highly recommend it to anyone , and we will definately be calling for the next vehicle to get repaired !
