My bug has had an unpredictable occasional dilemma upon starting. I took it to Dave, who did everything he could to try to get it to perform this obnoxious stunt, with no luck .He kept his word regarding charges : if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge us for anything . I even tried to pay him for the time he spent trying to locate the problem but he wouldn't hear of it . He did research trying to puzzle this out, he took some time really trying to figure it out, but still refused to take any money. He is a man of his word, what he says he will do he does. He did a great job on the brakes on my husband's car, and he is someone we both completely trust to do a good, honest job. Give him a try! He's really easy to get to, on Coors just north of Blake. You'll be glad you did!!

VERY HONEST. I would give him 10 stars if i could. I took my car there because my brakes were squeaky here and there. He checked out my car and said my brakes were fine. Summertime heat can make them squeak. He could have easily made a few hundred off of me and didnt.

Dave did the work at the price he quoted,offered the used parts to me,I declined. He is a man of his word. My car was finished earlier than he originally said. My car was repaired to the highest quality. I seriously recommend Brakes Unlimited. He is better than brake masters.

I came to this shop after going to Brake Master, I was getting charged at Brake Master about $3,000 to change my pads and fluid and back Rooters. Dave gave me a GREAT DEAL. Dave is an awesome, honest guy and I know where to go from now on if I have brake problems. Thank you soo much Dave👍👍👍👍👍

This man is incredible! I called brake masters to get a general idea of what this job was going to cost me and went into shock! I took the wife's car to Brakes unlimited to get an estimate. Dave kept the car and said he would call me. A few hours later, the call came and he suggested I replace the four rotors. He said my brake pads still had about 30k miles so I wouldn't have to replace them yet. Since his estimate came in at half the price of brake masters, I just told him to replace the pads as well! He was more than fair, gave a better warranty than the other guys and I had the car back by 4pm. I've had my truck done by this man and he seems to really care about you and your car. I will continue to go back!

We needed brakes on our Toyota Camry and went to a brake shop in Rio Rancho who we will not name, but they said we needed front and back rotors and pads. They quoted us $1400!! We went to Big Daddy Dave for a second opinion. Turns out we didn't need front rotors and we got our brakes done same day for HALF THE PRICE!! Great service, really nice guy and he has a sweet little cat named Tigger who is in the shop. We will continue to go to Dave for all of our car needs! Thanks Dave!

Worst part is you can't just wait for your car to be worked on, as he won't give you a time when you can come in & just wait...unless prepared to wait all day. But reasonable price & honest work.

I’ve been meaning to write this review! I have take my vehicles to Dave at least 4 times for various work and have always been pleased. He does a great job of explaining what needs repair and always guarantees his work. I have so appreciated his business and would recommend highly.

Great place to get a U-Haul truck. If you're looking to move out of state they will get you hooked up with a good price for U-Haul and they will help can you set up for your trip. The workers there were very nice and I would definitely recommend using them if you want to get a truck I'm sure their brake services are good as well but I didn't need them for that I only use them to rent a U-Haul truck and it was great service.

Honest mechanic! Heard the breaks squeaking. Was prepared to replace all 4 pads. Looked at pads and saw there was 50% life left on each pad. Could not figure out where the squeak was coming from when the breaks were applied. Big Daddy Dave discovered that the squeak was caused by my tire cleaner. If the tire cleaner gets on the pads or disc it can cause a squeak. Dave saved me money for another 5-8k miles and didn't charge me. I'll be back to see Dave in 5-8k.

I live far from the South Valley, but because Brakes Unlimited was so highly rated on Google, I took a chance and made the long drive to have my front brakes done. I was super impressed with Dave and his work. We dropped my car off around 9am and by noon I had a quote for the job. By 2:30p my car was ready to go. This is not a fancy shop, so if you need a pretty check-in desk with gourmet coffee and comfy chairs, then this isn't the place for you. BUT, if you want an honest, mechanic with great experience and fair prices, then Brakes Unlimited is for you! Dave showed me the brakes and roters that were replaced, recommended work for my rear brakes and gave me a time frame he felt they should have attention so I can budget for the job. Believe the great reviews. Dave is a great mechanic, and I highly recommend his shop. Thanks!
