I brought my vehicle in due to a noise issue up front, which was diagnosed as a wheel bearing problem. Techs performed the wheel bearing fix and transfer case service. Unfortunately, while driving on Christmas Eve, I experienced a significant issue with my brakes. I lost braking ability and nearly had a severe accident. I managed to get my truck to Firestone where I was informed that the brake caliper screws were not properly reinstalled, with one screw actually missing. This caused the brake line to be cut, leading to a loss of brake fluid. Briarwood auto service was the last one to work on my brake calipers. Follow-up with Briarwood regarding the repairs and they took care of the issue with professionalism and concern. There are not many auto repair shops in the area that would step up to the plate and address customer concerns. This shop gets it !! Highly recommended for your car needs.

Got our transmission fixed here. Got it back with a broken speedometer and the heater core needing to be replaced which was NOT an issue prior to them fixing the transmission. Brought it back in to look at it and told them the issues we were having after getting it back from them. The guy behind the desk was snarky about it and questioning if we let it sit, etc. WE DIDN’T. Then when we finally heard back on what the new issues were they tried to charge us $145 for “diagnostics”. Have been using this auto shop for about 10 years and will NEVER use them again. Loved when his dad owned it. Since his son took over it’s been awful.

This mechanic shop used to be my go-to place for reliable car inspections and repairs, but unfortunately, that's no longer the case. On Tuesday, November 26th, I dropped off my 2007 Toyota Camry XLE at 8:30 am to address a stuttering issue and a flashing check engine light, as I was preparing for a long drive to Houston. The front desk staff asked me to leave the car overnight for inspection, which I agreed to. Later that day, they called to inform me that the spark plugs, coils, and connectors needed to be replaced, and assured me the work would be completed by the end of Wednesday, November 27th. I picked up the car at 5:30 pm on Wednesday and was charged $1,389 for the repairs and an oil change (as detailed in the attached invoice). However, just five minutes into driving, the check engine light came back on, and the stuttering issue remained unresolved. Now, I’ll have to find another mechanic in Houston to fix what they failed to address. Beware—this shop is no longer trustworthy or reliable. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Took Pickup in to check out various issues with engine running rough lately and warning code coming on. They diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue. However, they noted that transmission was leaking. An oil pump had been replaced by them within the last couple of years and this was repaired by them under warranty. Other needed services were completed by them and vehicle is running very well at present !!

Took in 8am for a service appointment told would be completed same day. It takes about 3-4 hours based on all the research I did. Wasn't ready by end of the day, and I did not receive a call telling me this would be the case, I had to call them. I'll be taking my car to dealership from now on so I can at least have a loaner and not risk being stranded without my car. Being reliable doesn't just refer to the work being done, but considering time restraints for people dropping off their car and being told it will be ready same day. Also feel a little misled, when I booked online appointment I thought I read somewhere about service A9 being a transmission flush of some sort. No its just an oil change. Told them it was just telling me I needed the A9 service, which is just a damn oil oil change and nothing to do with a transmission oil change, pan replacement, etc.. Costs me an extra 780 bucks when I could have been out of there for less than 200.

Had a bad transmission and was taken care of really well by the staff. They were respectful and knowledgeable about the options I could take, as well as being accommodating with getting me an Uber whenever needed while I had my car repaired. A great experience while getting my car serviced.
