My truck got a flat yesterday and my mom recommended this place. We were 2 hours away from going on a road trip and Jim got me in right away and completely fixed my tire and Todd put it back on for me… they both were SO amazing and fixed everything for me. I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am for them helping me in a jam. Thank you both so much! Times have changed and it is hard to find quality places and people…. This place is a diamond in the rough!

A lot of us don't know much when it comes to our very important vehicles that we really can't do without. When you're looking for a mechanic the thing that matters possibly most of all is the integrity of the person. You don't want to get jerked around, you don't want to get lied to, you don't want to get scammed. Ideally, you just want to pay the person a fair transaction to get the job fixed as painless as possible. Jim is that guy. My family and I have been going to Jim's for a decade and he's always been fair and communicative and reasonably priced. Not only that, but Jim has stood up for his customers in the court of law on a few occasions (my mother being one of them) fighting other automobile shyster who have at one point or another tried to defraud his customers. If there is anything this guy hates, it's someone trying to be dishonest. I will note however Jim and Pals are pretty high in demand and the waiting list can be high at times. If you only have one car and can't work out some leapfrog approach with a friends automobile the wait may be too long for you. Go ahead and call to find out, but it usually takes at least a weeks advanced notice.

I requested an appt within the next 2 days (which is not polite, but I was in a fix) and Jim said he would fit my car in. He not only performed the requested oil change, but thoroughly checked my car over. He knew I was going to put over 2,000 mi on it in a week. He did not need to do this, but safety is Jim's main concern. He called me with a few things that I might want done before I left, but were not strictly necessary at that time. I requested Jim attend to all the points he brought up. He got the work done, the car runs beautifully, I would recommend Bridgeville Automotive with Jim and his crew to anyone who wants an honest, excellent mechanic to take care of their car

These guys are honest and knowledgeable mechanics. They are good diagnosticians and don’t just guess and throw parts at a problem. They have done everything from major repairs like clutch replacements to oil and fluid changes for me. Recommend this shop.

Been going to this shop for a long time now after difficulty getting quality work at dealerships. Bridgeville Auto isn’t the cheapest service out there but one of the best. Give me experienced master mechanics keeping my car running like new for a decade or more over inexperienced and under-trained dealership techs that seem to just start replacing parts until they get lucky and even sometimes break more than they fix all while charging top dollar. The folks at Bridgeville Auto are fair and very good at what they do. They’re great with communication and have always worked with us to get scheduled maintenance and repairs done within reasonable amounts of time.

I take both our vehicles to this auto repair center. My brother recommended this place to me because he uses them. I highly recommend Bridgeville automotive. They are honest, knowledgeable, and there is not a ridiculous wait time to schedule an appointment.

This is my first review of any business, ever. On a Tuesday, my car broke down. The radiator blew. I had it towed to my longtime repair shop, who assessed the problem, but couldn’t fix it for 4 weeks. I called 4 other repair shops, all of whom were similarly booked. The last one suggested I call Bridgeville Automotive. I am so glad I did. Jim said he would fit me in-not knowing me from Adam-so on Wednesday morning I had the car towed to his place. He called me that afternoon with the scope of the work and an estimate. On Thursday at 1pm, I picked up my car. I don’t know how much something like this should cost. I do know that it was somewhat close to what my longtime shop quoted me. But to have my car repaired and returned so quickly was worth every penny I paid. A rental car for a month would have cost $500. I am so very grateful to Jim, and will not be going anywhere else for future repairs.

Update: The owner posted a ridiculous lie in his reply, defaming me by saying I'm an employee of Dandy Inc, a "scam company" that leaves fake 1-star reviews. Pathetic. I wonder if he pays for all the positive reviews. Maybe I should post the text of all my many receipts then sue him for defamation. My original review: Expensive as hell, stopped trusting them, and finally got fed up with the nasty little troll behind the counter. Take our cars elsewhere now.

Very good shop to get work done at, easy to deal with and to schedule an appointment. You can trust the work will be done correctly, for peace of mind you cannot put a price on. I will certainly be back for repairs/service which I prefer to leave to the pros. Todd and Jim are very friendly and provide great, detailed explanations in regard to what was fixed/replaced.

Good work, similar prices to others, the negative is you have to drop your car off ( no waiting for it) and they are about 2 to 3 weeks out in scheduling

I always feel comfortable that Bridgeville Automotive will do a great job on my car. The folks there have even fixed problems that no one seemed able to fix even after charging me a great deal of money. They are very professional and I feel that they really care about me and my car. A front brake line blew on my 2003 truck and in less than 24 hours, Jim was able to remove the busted line and replace it, and I asked him to replace the other line while he was at it. Now, my truck's running like new! They were professional, affordable, and very, very helpful when I spoke with them. Thank you Jim!!
