During the forty years I have owned my 1974 MGB, I have met more MG mechanics than I can--or wish to--remember. These guys are unforgettable. It is seemingly rare nowadays to find such dedication to excellence in those who practice a skilled trade. Here, there is an unmistakable and justifiable pride in delivering the highest standards of expert, professional service in all areas of automotive mechanics related to British marques. Chad and his staff are simply the very best in the business. The extensive work performed on my vehicle following ten years in storage, included getting a number of issues "un-f#&%ed," as a result of past handiwork from less capable practitioners. It is such a joy to once again drive with the confidence born of knowing my "Sweet B" is in perfectly reliable mechanical condition! An excellent value and truly enjoyable experience! Highest recommendations!

I started a care plan for my 1969 TR6 today. We began by doing a pre-work inspection. That was the best automotive shop experience I've ever had. I love that you complete the inspection with them. Chad really knows his stuff and is passionate about these cars. He's hilarious too. 100% recommend this shop for your British car!

I brought my '68 M.G.B. GT to them shortly after buying it. Told them to fix EVERYTHING they found that needed repair. They had it for just on two weeks. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail, I doubt I could have found anywhere else. And when I picked it up, the bill was half as much as I thought it would have been. If you own a British car I'd recommend this shop above all others.

This is a different kind of auto repair shop (in a good way!). Which is good, because if you're looking at this review, you likely own a British sports car that's decades old, so you're a different kind of quirky yourself. Chad owns the business and runs the shop, which is full of cars like yours -- '60s & '70s MGs, Jags, Triumphs, Morris Minors and so on. In the 2+ years I've know him, Chad has become a friend and trusted advisor. He and his crew lovingly keep these gorgeous, goofy cars where they should be: on the road. But that's not the unique part. Get this! Under Chad's supervision, you can save hundreds or thousands of dollars by working on your car yourself! For a fifth of what you'd pay Chad to repair your car, you can choose instead to use the shop, its tools, ample stock of spare parts, and all of Chad's knowledge, and do the work yourself. Amazing gratification while you also build up the knowledge you really shouldn't be without if you own one of these beloved relics. Or go the old fashioned way and just hire the shop to do the work. Either way, you'll be thrilled with the quality, the meticulousness, and the end result: your darling silly classic British conveyance motoring happily down the road again.

Have been several times to visit a friend's car in various stages of restoration. Staff is very knowledgeable & friendly, good facility, & everyone has a genuine passion for older British cars.

Working with Chad is great. It is awesome to have him and his expertise when working on my 1974 Jensen-Healey. He is the local guy I turn to.

Most reputable classic mini repair shop I've ever been to. Can't say enough about how well my wife's mini is being taken care of. Highly recommend them. Fair wrench pricing and very professional work done here.

Kelly is so nice I wanted to post this just to let you know. The rest of the team same thing. You can use their location to lift your vehicle on their vehicle lift and make your own mechanical repairs. They'll help you procure the parts for anything British. Great location and Tooling all for your using. Sam. :)

BCM are great neighbors. Love living behind them, smells and sounds remind me of my dad, uncles, and grandpa who all restore old hot rods. The crew sounds super friendly from the jovial laughter. :) It's also fun to see their new projects roll in and out from my bedroom window (...Even if I'm a classic American muscle lover).. Please ignore my neighbor, she is sleep deprived and grouchy on account of long nights of constantly screaming and throwing things at her boyfriend to the point of police intervention.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

BMC is not only the pinnacle of British car service but a destination for all British car lovers....BMC is Number One....

British Motor Care just finished rebuilding my '73 Lotus Europa JPS Twin Cam engine along several other upgrades. They have a knowledgeable staff that really know British cars. And they allow you to work on your car so I was able to assist the Master Mechanic John throughout the process. I learned a lot! They really share the passion for keeping the vintage British cars on the road. Highly recommended!

Chad and his team were outstanding! I recently took my 1977 MGB to British Motor Care to have them give it a clean bill of health. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and very good at communication. It's clear they know and love British cars. I'd take my car back anytime!

I recently had my Austin Healey BJ8 worked on British Motor Care. Chad and his team were outstanding. Nothing but professional service and an extreme amount of knowledge for these vehicles. I felt very comfortable leaving my car here in his hands. Anyone looking for a British car repair will not be disappointed, they have an extreme passion for classic British cars!

A rare survivor in the day. Great people.

Amazing place for British Automobiles! They care for my Jaguar as if it were their own. They have the passion that draws them to these challenging beasts, the skills and the tenacity to fix them, and the frugality to make them affordable to "average Joes" like me. Many thanks to Chad, John, Kelly, Garrett, Brandon for making our "Miss V" a better automobile. You folks are awesome!

I’ve probably owned 20-30 triumphs In my lifetime. I use them as daily drivers. I can’t believe that I just found out about this place recently. Anyone that lives in Portland and is passionate about these cars needs to go here. Unbelievable service. Unbeatable prices. Just a great company overall and I look forward to many years of doing business with BMC down the line.

MGB's are the Happiest Cars on Earth and my just-bought 1977 MGB now thinks BMC is Disneyland! It came in needing some mechanical and cosmetic fixin's and Chad and his Wonder Crew have done their magic. I actually had up to three people and six hands working on the car at the same time -- go anywhere else and try to get that level of attention for your car! Got two shout-outs and a thumbs up on the way home!! My personal and sincere thank you's to Chad & The Wonder Crew.

Chad and his team are true quality. Knowledgeable, friendly, honest and charging fair prices. This is the home for my car :)

Great group of people that want to do the best job and be fair priced at the same time. I felt very comfortable with the group working on my ‘66 MGB. They were careful and through. I will be happy to have them work on my MG whenever it needs it.

Recently purchased a "frame-off restored" MGA. The car still had issues and I needed help from someone who knew these vehicles. Fortunately I found Chad at BMC. A short visit with him and I knew he was the guy for my MGA! Brought my car over from Central Oregon and he soon had my issues corrected. Chad and his crew are pleasant, knowledgeable and cost-effective. I would highly recommend them for your British car.

Great knowledgeable British motor mechanics.

This is the ONLY place to take your British Motor car. I'm a good general mechanic, however Chad and his crew are experts and can troubleshoot difficult scenarios. My 57 year old TR3 runs like new!

We took our 1970s MGB to Chad and it wasn't running and hadn't in a few years. He fixed her all up and we drove her home to Bend from Portland with no issues on her first day out! We have been driving her since. These cars are not easily repaired and these guys are experts. I really trust the work and am looking forward to getting him the next project - our 1960s MGB. Thank you BMC!
