I had a headlight out, and was quoted $135 by my regular mechanic. I came to Broadway, and he replaced not one but two bulbs for $25! You have won yourself a new customer. Highly recommended!

I seldom write reviews, but this experience was exceptional. Broadway Import has earned my business! I took our 2013 Toyota Prius into Broadway Toyota and they told me I needed about $1,200 worth of maintenance done. I thought I would try Broadway Import Auto Service and they told me that a number of the things Broadway Toyota wanted me to do were just scams. Examples: Fuel Injector Cleaning (It's just an additive they dump in your gas tank that you can buy yourself), Engine Optimization (It's just more additives). Broadway Toyota wanted $450 for those two things! Then there was the inverter and engine coolant fluids. Broadway wanted to change them for $225 each. Broadway imports took a look and said the coolants looked perfect and didn't need changing. They could have easily changed me for them, but were honest about it and saved me $$$. In the end, they were honest, fairly priced, fast, and saved me a lot of money. I'll take my other Toyota to them as well and encourage you to take your vehicles to them too. I'm very impressed with Broadway Import Auto Service!

The folks at Broadway auto did a great job swapping in an engine for my VW Touareg at a very reasonable price, always had availability within a few days and worked quickly. Dan took the time to explain pretty much everything they did, as well as how and why some parts failed, without overselling anything. Would highly recommend.

Dan got me in quickly to do a timing chain replacement and a few other misc items/checks for my 2012 Audi Q5. Their prices are very fair! They saved me $2,000 vs the shop who had done maintenance on this vehicle the past 5+ years. Other places were even more. They are very experienced and knowledgable about imports and especially Audi/Volkswagen. I feel lucky to have found these guys, as I just moved back to the Portland area from Texas. I feel comfortable knowing I have a solid auto shop for the future. I would absolutely recommend these guys if you have any auto issues. Dan answered all of my questions and explained everything easily. Great customer service. This is THE auto shop!

9 year old Honda. Had intermittent electrical problems but then it just started to stop working. Looked for a local shop to avoid getting to the dealer in Beaverton. Saw the good reviews here, called them, and staggered over. He knew immediately what it was, we discussed options and prices, and they got it back to me that afternoon. I’ll definitely be back.

Sometimes I have to pick an auto shop by the shortest distance for a tow, but thankfully, this shop is also a neighborhood shop - 2 bonuses! In addition to these perks, Broadway Imports is also a quality shop - based on the trifecta of - Expertise, Pricing, and Ethics. This shop has all of these qualities - plus, friendly and clean to boot! But wait, there's more! This shop has even more to offer - Women will especially appreciate this one... the owner is respectful and doesn't have an ounce of condescension in his tone. He'll answer your questions w/o a hint of mansplaining. Such a gem. Unfortunately, I don't have an import anymore, so I have to find another mechanic for my GMC. So when someone decided to drill a hole in my gas tank and left me in a bind the other day... I called hoping to find a referral to another shop that could work on my car. This guy is salt of the earth and did so much more... He located a used replacement tank for my vehicle and offered to fix it for me anyway. Plus - He got it done for 1/3 the price that someone else quoted me. If you have an import, this is THE shop. I highly recommend Broadway Imports. They are good people. They do great work. And they are good to their customers!

We’ve been getting our cars serviced here for many years. It’s a local business with personalized service. They don’t try to sell you work you don’t need. It’s like an old-time car repair garage, with modern equipment. I think they’re a much better choice than the impersonal, overpriced dealerships.

Never had such a rude customer service from someone for asking to understand the cost of repairs. Everywhere else is around 1500. When i asked for price break down he told me that they arent the right shop and hung up.

Great find - I've lived in this neighborhood for a while and I had no idea I had such a solid shop right down the street. I've been in twice now with my Element, once for an overheating issue and once for a knocking issue. The guys here know their stuff and they're transparent about what they're doing and why they're doing it . . . They get the job done in good time and they don't try to upsell me with stuff I don't need. The world needs more shops like this 👍

I was struggling to fix my Subaru for 2 months looking at everything except for the real issue (that I installed my starter without the ground cable connected). Eventually I gave up and took a chance at Broadway Imports where I was treated with great customer service. Dan who works there was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful, answering all my novice car mechanic questions, and immediately noticed the problem with my starter (literally within a minute) I drove out soon after. Thank you Dan!

They saved me thousands of dollars. I have a 2000 Subaru - another mechanic we've been going to for years (also well reviewed here) told us we need $7250 in repairs. We were shopping around for new cars and thought we'd get a second opinion. Broadway Imports didn't think we needed any of that work (a new oil gasket and new shocks and struts), Our car is working great and now we have a new mechanic we can trust.

I live in Montana, but might continue to call and visit Chase and Dan at Broadway Import Auto Service! It's rare to come across such honest brokers, who take the time to explain all aspects of the work. What's more, they continue to help me with decision making about the right car for me and what I need to do with my current vehicle to suit my needs. I can't recommend them more highly.

Saved us $3k! UPDATE 1/9/2024: the Mazda dealership quoted my wife over $3000 for a busted heater core and struts, but after getting a second opinion from Broadway we found out that none of that work was needed. Save your money and bring your car here where they will be honest with you. We will only bring all our cars here moving forward. We appreciate the amazing customer service! ORIGINAL REVIEW 2019 I moved to SE and was looking to find a new auto shop. Based on reviews I gave broadway auto a try. They were able to fit me in for an oil change and also changed the transmission fluid and did a great job! I’ll be looking at using them again in the future. Their customer service was also top notch! I definitely got a vibe that they cared about their clients. My only criticism is that their prices were a little higher than I was used to. For example my last mechanic charged about $10 less for an oil change but when it comes to my car I’m willing to pay a little more if I know the quality is there.

They always give us the strait answer about what is needed and they never try to upsell us. They really do a lot to create loyalty by doing the simple things well: communication, courtesy, charging fair prices, and doing things on time.

A toe hitch impaled my car when I rear ended it and they were able to fit me in and get my radiator, ac, and the bumper support bar replaced within 2 days for very reasonable pricing. They were so accommodating and helpful!

I have had my oil changed here twice and found their services to be friendly, thorough, and professional both times. My VW requires a little bit more knowledge than other auto service places might have and the staff seem to really know what they're doing! I trust that the people here love these cars and care about doing things the right way.
