After paying $1400 to get truck fixed for it to have same issue 2 months later…. Talked rude to by staff.

Arnold took great care of my vehicle. I came in to get a state inspection and he found I needed to get my lower control arm replaced before passing. I was aware of this issue and he gave me an extremely fair price (less than half of what Moore Subaru quoted me) so I gave him the go ahead! He got it all done within an afternoon! I also dropped off my partner’s truck and he did the inspection super quick! I’ll be coming back here soon to get my break pads replaced. I highly recommend this shop!

Was new to the Richmond area and needed to find a Mechanic to fix my alternator because it had went out. Steve communicate with me very well gave me a fair price and fixed my vehicle fairly quickly. I told them they had a customer for life because my truck ended up working better than when it had came in.... But I came in this time to get a car inspection and the man failed me stating that I needed new rotors and breaks. Did not receive the paperwork for the things I needed fixed and asked him how much would the work be. He told me he would get back to me on it. Since then my car has been shaking and breaks are starting to squeal. I've been calling asking about the price and he acts as if he can't remember my car or what needed to be done. Told me if I pay him $500 he will fix all of it. So I asked him what will he be fixing if he can't remember and that I'm not asking for a discount I need to know what needs to be fixed because I never heard my breaks and my wheel is starting to shake in my car. He tells me he's not going to tell me all of that to go get my car fixed by someone else. I have a few days left. The work he is stating is almost $1000 and it sounds like my car is getting worse. Contacted them on numerous occasions in fact 3 times in one day stating they would have to "Jack my car up" in order to see what's really wrong. I've done business with them before and had no issues. At this point im going to the authorities. This time is very untrusting and don't want any more dealings. Four stars for previous work with Steve which was excellent. Just not sure if I can trust anyone else there and for that reason will be looking for another place to do business with.

I have been a customer for well over ten years with Brook road auto care. They don't scam you, they tell you the truth about what your automobile needs. Great group of staff. I recommend anyone that needs work on your vehicle to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.😀👍

I was stranded in Richmond with my car stalling out constantly and couldn’t find any other mechanic who would even take a look. The guys at brook auto saw us, were super friendly and took care of our problem in fifteen minutes. I’d recommend them to any of my friends in Richmond!!

Steve and his staff are the genuine article! I've been a customer here for almost 9 years from the first day I move to Richmond from New York. Someone recommended them to me and they have taken care of my personal vehicles and my 16-ft work truck during all that time! Honest, fair priced and they do excellent work!

We made a Uhaul reservation here over a month in advance. The morning of pickup, they would not answer the phone for us or for Uhaul during posted working hours. Uhaul database showed this location did not have the large moving truck we had reserved and were surprised Brook Rd did not contact us to let us know. We had to travel 2 hours out of our way to find a last minute replacement. I don't understand why they would not have let us know there was a problem.

I have been going there for years. Once they fix the real problem, you never come back gir that issues. Steve and his crue are AWSOME!!!!!!

Steve's Auto and Transmission replaced the transmission in my vehicle back in 2017.. They price was very reasonable and they did an outstanding job.. I have been back several times for other repair work and always had a great customer experience..
