Fixed my Tacoma tire after 3 repair shops sent me back saying the tire need replacement. It is 2 years since and the tire works fine.

I would not recommend any service from this shop. Their tire service is of very low quality, and they often lack basic stock like tires and common parts such as drain plugs and duck heads for the tire changers. The management team is unprofessional and rude, especially in the mornings. It’s concerning to see unhappy employees working on cars, and observing their work is chaotic and disorganized. Watching them work is like watching a circus. The store manager and assistant manager focus more on squeezing money out of customers than on providing quality service, frequently trying to sell unnecessary parts. Their online work order system is also very frustrating and inefficient. The shop itself is disorganized, with low-quality tire machines and balancers. There are lots of missing parts, and the machines are not bolted to the ground—you can see the entire balancer or tire changer fall. Once you're in this shop, you're stuck getting service due to the shop's design, as cars wait and parts are needed. Every visit for a quote seems to reveal new staff or broken machines, adding to the visible chaos. The store manager fails to address stock issues and can't meet oil demand, leading to long wait times due to a perpetually full oil sump. When they run out of oil, they use non-ACEA approved oil for European cars. The store manager doesn't cancel orders; instead, he takes shortcuts and blames workers for blown engines. Their jacks and lifts rarely work properly, making tire rotations and alignments unreliable. Inspections are not recommended since an ASE-certified technician is rarely available; often, it's just a tire guy doing them. The lifts and other machines are barely functional, raising safety concerns. The store manager prioritizes numbers over customer satisfaction. Calling the shop is usually futile, as they are often unhelpful. The management team's lack of communication and poor customer service skills are the shop's biggest failures. They don't even install new valve cores, valve caps, or valve stems during tire changes, and their TPMS service is unreliable due to poor stock management. This shop violates numerous state, labor, and OSHA laws. Other shops offer better, more professional tire repairs. For example, America's Tire and Les Schwab provide higher quality flat repairs since they offer dunk tank services and higher quality patches and patch work. Watching this shop work on your car feels chaotic, with dangling lights and leaking faucets, giving the impression that the whole shop is falling apart. Les Schwab has a much bigger lot to serve RV owners, and I don’t trust anyone at this shop to work on my motorhome. They discriminate against full-time RVers, which is why going to Les Schwab in Livermore is a better option since I can get a full alignment there without being overcharged. They have a whole lift and better tire distribution. I prefer taking my business to Les Schwab, America's Tire, or Firestone, where there’s more common sense and integrity. Competent store management is crucial for any work I need done. I highly recommend visiting a different store in a different city where customer service is better. This shop exemplifies why independent shops are often a better choice than corporate ones. If you’re smart, just get a quote here and then refuse the service. They will try to obligate you to repairs, so schedule an appointment and cancel later. Additionally, there is a significant language and cultural barrier at this shop. They seem to prioritize serving their Spanish-speaking customers and don’t show the same level of care for English speakers. Vote @cagop

I went to Bruce’s because of the great raving reviews but I did not really enjoy my experience here. I came because I had a flat tire with a nail in it that needed to be patched up, this place was near my work and reviews said it would be $25. I was charged $45. They also checked a bunch of things on my car that I didn’t ask for or need (maybe to justify this higher charge?) and came back with two recommendations: spark plug replacement and wheel alignment. Spark plug replacement happens between 30k to 90k miles. I had mine replaced less than 4k miles ago and less than a year on them. My tires are similarly less than a year old, with alignment and balancing done less than 4k miles ago and they do not need another alignment. I am disappointed at the unnecessary recommendations and upsells. I was hoping to find an honest mechanic to stick with long term but I wouldn’t come back here.

I have used Bruce’s tire repair shop in the past several times, this last time I was little surprised with the attention to customer it was like never before they took care of my 4Runner right in the spot. And today that I drove in the FW it feel really smooth. Thanks so much Bruce’s.
