I followed Okan from his previous location at a Shell gas station on Wrightwood and Halsted. That was back in the early 2000’s. I recently moved all the way to Edison Park. My car like all cars eventually need maintenance. There was no question where to take my car even after the move up north. The drive to Lincoln Park is a minor inconvenience compared to the service I receive from the Bucaro Brothers. FIVE STARS EVERY TIME. Professional, knowledgeable, competitive pricing and most importantly excellent service. They are THE BEST, simply second to nobody. When this shop closes I will start leasing cars because I know I’ll never find anyone as good as these guys.

These guys are the absolute best - they'll always recommend that you get a second quote so that you know they're not ripping you off but don't bother, since these guys are the best combo of price, quality, and convenience. Would highly advise coming here before going anywhere near a dealership

Bucaro Brothers is the best! They perform excellent, professional service using quality parts. They service 4 cars for my family, and keep us on the road! No repair is too big or too small. They rebuilt my husband’s engine 8 years ago, (after a bad oil change at a quick, chain oil place) and it is still running perfectly. Needless to say, Bucaro has performed all oil changes for us ever since! Their prices are fair—all work is quoted for approval and work is completed promptly. Okan and his team are true professionals.

I have been a Bucaro customer for many years and multiple cars. I took my car to dealer for oil change(covered under my preventative maintenance). As always — just addressing what I came in there for (oil change) is not good enough. They tell me I need some other filter replaced(of course, not covered for $55) and that I need to flush my break reservoir and replace the oil ($194)as it was dirty(my car is a 2021 with 20K miles on it). I pass on the break fluid flush with dealer even after they try the fear mongering tactic(probably figure I am female, wont know the difference). Out of principle, I take it to Bucaro and as always — honesty and integrity is how they approached it. They opened my hood, showed me the level of oil, showed me that it was clean and told me if it was their car—they would do nothing at this point. On top of that, he took me to his computer and showed me what the recommended mileage for doing that is. THAT is customer service and putting the customer first! I was actually hoping Bucaro would validate what the dealer said and prove my skepticism wrong. But once again — Berman Nissan just tried to sell me stuff I did not need and only made me more skeptical of anything and everything they say in the future. So disappointing. But — thank you Bucaro for the honesty and for actually helping me and not charging me a dime for it.

Okan and his team are simply the best! We have been using them for 10 years, 5 different cars. Each time they document the necessary repair with a photo, request approval in advance and complete the repair with no additional charges. Several times something required a very quick fix and Okan wouldn't even charge us - no dealer would do this. Honest, friendly and conscientious!

Cannot recommend this place enough - they are super helpful. Take the time to explain everything and offer fair prices. Not to mention, their texting/website communication about the services needed and their breakdowns is very user friendly.

Great service. Been bringing my cars here for seven years, or so. They actually take photos of the repair issue and text the pics to you. They don't do the work until you text them back and approve of the work. Ocan and his crew are top-notch.

We took our truck to Bucaro Bros to have it fixed. We were charged over $2000 to have the issue fixed and months later the exact same issue occurred. We had to have the truck towed because it wouldn't start. Once they charged the battery and got it started, we were told to come pick it up (unfixed) and go to the dealer because they don't have time to find and fix the problem. In a nutshell, they took our money. I do not suggest anyone patronize this shop.

Would recommend to anyone! I have taken my car here twice and the service is fast and they are so helpful. They only repair what is immediately necessary and definitely don't try to scam you into additional repairs. I will take my car here every time!

Today I went in to get a tire checked after intermittently seeing the indicator light on the dashboard. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and listened to what I thought might be the issue. They replaced a cracked tire stem for a reasonable price, and sent me on my way. I am having a better week because of them and can now drive home to see my family for the holiday. super super rude, you would think someone who is in business "30 years" would know what customer service is. Overpriced and cuts you short. Know it all attitude. If this is how their customer service is just imagine the kind of business tactics they run behind the scenes. Would not trust them with a go kart let alone a car. *In response to owners reply below: Told the owner the car battery has a drain, after testing it, negative sparking, new alternator and me replacing the battery 3 times in the last 4 years with this latest battery being only 7 months old. I asked to bring the car in for diagnostic work to find out where the drain is coming from, they specifically advertise this service on their website. He tells me in his 30 years experience it has to be the battery since, even after I told him its not because i have change the battery and its new. He then proceeds to call me a liar about replacing my battery and hangs up on me. HAHA. Thats right this guy without even seeing the car calls me a liar after I am telling him what the problem is and then hangs up on me when i am calling to bring the car in for diagnostic work so he can help determine where a drain is coming from. Unreal folks.
