Test drove my car to 5000 rpms with me in it after I told them they broke my motor mounts, so imagine what they do when you aren't looking. Will tell you things like "I can hear things you can't hear" in an attempt to pre-explain the price going up later. Front bumper had damage after I picked it up, and of course, they have no idea how it happened... They will also text you begging for you to bring your car back a year after your service. Would not recommend, ever.

Great shop and they don't play around with your vehicle, gets straight to the point and gets you back on the road in a timely manner. Appointments are better if you're needing to drop off as they tend to be a little busy. My AC was diagnosed and fixed by the following day. The price was much better than expected which I felt like the trust factor made a difference in wanting to come back if any future issues arose. My 95 Saturn SL2 cooled like it did when I first bought it. I'm so excited to have AC back in my soon too be classic automobile 🚘 3/30/1995 ....

My car broke down nearby and Byrd's was the closest autoshop. I dropped off my car on a Saturday when they were closed and they were able to look at it and get it running in about a week which I thought was quite good given such a limited heads up. Their prices were very fair and my car runs just as good as before if not better! Could not be happier.

Been bringing our ‘03 Jeep Grand Cherokee and ‘04 Toyota Tundra to Byrd’s Auto Service for over 5 years now. Thanks to them, both cars are still running great. Jim and his team always do good work and offer great service at a fair price. They have been able to repair things that prior shops hadn't been able to address.

Jim, James and Zack are the upmost of professionals in their craft. I have had work needed on my 2004 Chevy and the results on this old truck each time have been amazing. Their attention to detail for a diagnosis is the best. All while caring enough to keep their cost to me in mind. Being on a disabled person's budget, that is key for me. Professional service done by highly trained automotive mechanics is all they offer in my opinion. Had catalytic converters replaced. Bought after market parts to keep cost down. It took a little longer than originally anticipated due to having to find a gasket that would work but friendly service and a good price.

James at Byrd's auto service is very polite and informative. They replaced 2 of my catalytic converters. After the first visit, my check engine light came back on within 7 days and found out it was installed incorrectly. They were on vacation so I had to wait to return to have it fixed. They corrected the problem. Had to drive for 70 - 100 miles before I could get inspected. Light came on again. Had to return for another check and had to replace an O2 sensor. I gave them 4 stars as they worked hard to fix the problem. Would have been 5 if it were fixed the first time.

My car broke down on I40 and I live 2 hrs away. My car was towed there and they fixed everything, and kept my car for 2 weeks until I was able to come get it. No pressure, no hassle! They were extremely nice, professional and accommodating! If you ever need work done on your automobile in the Raleigh area, I highly recommend!

These guys are great. Got me in within an hour of calling. Fixed my leaking tire in a half hour for $30.00. Couldn't have been happier and I went to the originally because I read the google reviews!
